zero but I don't know too many girls in real life

came here to say 0

i dont know any girls

Incidentally, the question "How many girls in real life do you know?" would have the exact same answers from Sup Forums.

Multo plures quam speras

At least one. She was a programmer (i mean real programmer, not js ux designated shitter), she was good at it and she wasn't even that ugly.
And if you count "can install and operate linux" as tech savvy you can add another one to that.

None of girls on my CS studies tho. I always wonder why girls take CS in uni if all they do with computer is facebook and 9gag. It's not like they are gonna find good husbands there.

0, but then again, I haven't seen Hannah's rice yet. She's probably running Windows.

my lecturer

I know a bunch of women in my cs class, non of them are interested in tech, or really even programming. They just want the money.

I don't know any.
So just 2.

I'm at a top university and there are actually quite a few girls that are smarter than lots of the men, and a lot of them use GNU/Linux.

I'm in math+comp sci btw

0, even my prof who has a doc in cs is not

2.
the first one's moving to physics.
my classmate, the second one, just graduated software engineering.

I consider about 2% of guys tech savvy.

With girls it's probably less than 0.01% but I haven't met any yet so it's hard to estimate.

1 or 2 at max out of ~30-50 girls I talked with in the last few years

>knowing girls

0 and 0 males as well

Tech-savvy, as in, actually interested in technology and able to be competent behind a keyboard without just following what they learned in school? Maybe 1 or 2.

I know a few more that can hold their own in programming and stuff like that since they learned it in college, but I wouldn't exactly call them tech savvy. They know what they learned well enough to work on the field, but I don't think they have much interest in the area.

But I only know like 10 girls. I know countless guys. Weird how that works, right? Around 6 of those, mostly pogrammers, are "tech-savvy", and moreso than the 2 girls, on average.

Cs grad here, I wanna say 5, but really it's 2.

me! i'm a femanon :3

13/f/cali?

transgender?

24/f/ua :3

Honestly my standard for "tech-savvy" for girls is pretty low. If she has an ad blocker installed, I would consider her qualified.

That being said, maybe 2. Strong maybe.

24/f (male)/ua :3
None better than I am, but tech savvy.... Like 0

Damn baby, what's your IDE?

>headphones laying on the record

my what?

My buddy's fiance builds gaming pcs and is pretty knowledgeable about networking stuff. She's a neet though.

my roommate is a senior IT admin at the local university. she helped me install my first linux distro. she's not a software developer but she is quite familiar with bash, python and using ssh. nice & easy to live with but slightly autistic - i think 50% of our conversations involve her cats. she is definitely at least bi but might be full lesbian

i had an old classmate who fit the description of the HACKER GRRL to a tee - neon hair, piercings, fishnets, fingerless gloves. but not in the gross way like you see on pol, she was actually quite attractive. yes i absolutely wanted to mount my hard dick in her but she had a bf. she also constantly posted revealing cybergoth outfit photos on facebook which was always a treat. i think she does webdev now (surprise) but hey, i'm terrible at web dev so i won't judge

there is an older polish lady who manages fuckoff huge SQL databases and web services. weird woman, i don't talk to her much.

and finally there were a few girls where i work (research institute) that developed some transportation simulation models, but i think it was mostly mathematical programming, not sure what languages were used.

1 but she is a hardcore lesbian

don't know

I once dated a girl who could set up a DVD player without male assistance.

Women are stupid.

>tech savvy

in the trash dot whemb

And it's a girl (male)

>How many girls in real life do you know

Could've just stopped there, would've been the same replies.

I work with a lot at one of the big tech companies

>devops engineer teammate
>github enterprise admin (8 node cluster with 20k users)
>VMware virtual desktop infrastructure engineer
>like a fucking 100 female Indian programmers (not pajeet tier at all)
>numerous support roles

Software developer with female coworkers and female nerd friends here.

Define tech-savvy

about 20

1. a butch lesbian

Only if the traps count.

1, but she's a ftm tranny

0. And 2 guys

retard

2
One is a co-worker and another comes to Sup Forums

That one weird girl on my first semester of CS

0, unless you consider traps girls

Then 1.

I remember there was like this 45 year old ugly ass woman in one of my networking classes when I was finishing my associates. She sat there and tried so hard and tried to act like she knew what she was doing but we all knew she was retarded and she most definitely was. Even the professor tried to just lowkey get her to drop the program.

Even if by miracle she was decent, she was 45 years old. Who the fuck is gonna hire a 45 year old woman.

1 (male)

I work in IT and even the girl in my department is like tech illiterate. I don't know how she has a job.

I'm in a IT program at a tech school.
There's 3 girls in the whole program and they're all on the level of "enlightened normie"

Underated

Quite a few, colleagues mostly.

do you realize that most people get into a University for getting a degree and a big paying check at the end of the month? it's not bad to study to get a nice job and a nice check so you can enjoy a nice life.

The problem is getting a career that is very technical and it doesn't let you to ascend in the hierarchy and get more money. Tech jobs are very technical (surprise) and unless you get in management or become a project leader, it won't rain the big money you could get with more lucrative degrees like business, or medicine or managerial engineering.

1 but she admit that she takes people's code and do modifications to it to fit what she wants it to do
dont know if that counts but she is better than me cause i write code from the start myself but i can only write brainlet code to do simple shit but she can write complex code but not from scratch and needs to modify it from people's code

The number of tech savvy dudes isn't all that high either

I've known 0 tech savvy girls
I've known about 5 or 6 tech savvy guys

I don't think any. To be fair though, I'd only consider maybe three guys I know to be tech-savvy.

this

My 12 yo sister has more knowledge about tech than all of the grills i hang out with. It's sad.

A couple that I work with are somewhat savvy.
My standard for savvy in this case is that they don't ask for my help when faced with a Linux command line

That I know today: 4. 2 are mainframe specialists, other is tech support, and the last is an entry level programmer. They can fix their own tech problems, and aren't total space cadets when it comes to figuring things out.

So its Dude (female) ?

2.
They both know how to manage geeks and nerds
and do negotiation with clients

Hey bb, wanna meet?

Does my former advisor count? She's a geneticists who is like 80 and has been working with computers since before people knew what introns were.
