Develop this, please.

Brave without any extensions on windows, Chromium with uBlock origin, Tapermonkey, and Tabby cat on Linux

Chrome
adblock
adneseam

It was sold out over a year ago. It's a botnet garbage now.

>opera
>HTTPS everywhere + privacy badger + ublock origin + umatrix

>3 botnets

once noscript is ported to webextensions I'll be using that too, privacybadger maybe but it's mostly covered by ublock/umatrix

it's closed source proprietary trash that has opt in of voluntarily sending information to advertisers, it's not necessarily a botnet but given how hard it was shilled (among things like disconnectme and other psuedo-privacy nonsense) it's highly suspect given that most of the things these addons try to block were already blocked by better more reliable open source addons

correct, ghostery sold out and i got sick of chrome/ium so i now use

vivaldi + night theme+ ublock + umatrix + disconnect

its important extensions behave stable with my over 9000 tabs ... i have had problems with memory leaks in the past

why do you need noscript with umatrix

tfw forgot pic

noscript provides xss protection that stock firefox/umatrix are lacking, chrome might still be slightly better though but chrome/ium is usually the better browser for security

Click to remove: gets rid of ugly shit on webpages

did twitch implement some new form of advertising? uBlock origin isn't blocking video ads all of a sudden for me

If they're not running the ads from known ad networks/servers uBlock can't block them.

implying is there other usable browser than firefox.

Can somebody tell me what exactly is wrong with Chrome

Doesnt respect privacy no matter what options you set. Your browsing data is used by the largest ad company in the world.
Doesnt allow the level of customizability as firefox.

It's used by a marketing company to suck up personal information like a vacuum for it's users.

You do not need:
>RefControl

>UAControl
>Self Destructing Cookies
Because you already have uMatrix. Some would even argue you don't need uBlock Origin either although I think its more effective with certain kinds of ads.

>HTTPS Everywhere

>Waterfox
>Random Agent Spoofer + Flash Control + NoScript + HTTPS Everywhere + Ublock Origin + Cookie Autodelete + Decentraleyes + DNSSEC/TLSA Validator

You don't have BetterPrivacy anymore. The dude shut it down, and it got removed from all browsers.

I know I can make rules for referrers in uMatrix but I am too lazy to that.
>UAControl
I kinda forgot I even had this one. Only used for a couple annoying sites that refused to work with old Firefox.
>Self-Destructive Cookies
It works slightly differently from uMatrix, and it's easier to add exceptions through GUI than editing rules manually.

Can't you just block elements with your ad block or uBlock origin?

Why do you need anything else?

Tampermonkey has analytics botnet, use violentmonkey instead.

By default its settings are configured to use google analytics, just look at the options for your source. You can disable it of course, but the option being default enabled is something that I'd never agree with. There's always concerns with updates turning it back on or them selling out further.

Get on with times grandpa

This would be okay in 2011. However, ABP is now practically an ad company with its "acceptable ads", and NoScript's functionality can be replaced with uBO with some tweaks or uMatrix. HTTPS Everywhere IMHO is still okay. SmartHTTPS is an alternative.

Wait for Firefox 57, it's going to be a huge change.

user, maybe you should delete that screenshot. Public IP address isn't a big deal but combined with your local IP and router model it could be.

Thank you both for your help. I shall make the necessary changes immediately. I am quite old now and certainly haven't been keeping up with everything.

Is there anything I need to configure on uBO?

Depends on whether you want noscript-like functionality or not. By default, uBO follows its blocking lists, and should be sufficient for most normal purposes. If you want to block ALL third party scripts and frames and use a whitelist instead (similar to NoScript), follow this:

github.com/gorhill/uBlock/wiki/Blocking-mode:-medium-mode

Fucking what? People actually use that? Just use Chrome.
