Apple reinvented the PC, making it much easier to use and introducing graphics. Apple reinvented the music industry, bringing iPod which to this day, has not been matched by any other product. Apple reinvented the phone, putting the bar much higher up for what a smartphone should be and how we would use one. And, finally, Apple invented (and made successful) the tablet, creating the iPad that has never had anyone come even close. Now tell me, why do you hate this company?

People hate what they can't have, it's that simple.

You can get a Mac for $500 and there was a good stretch of time when laptops were $2000 for xp. Now our dollars are worth nothing and macs are still $2000 you can't even act like they're exclusive anymore.

>Apple invented (and made successful) the tablet

People here hate you fucks because you genuinely believe shit like this.

He is talking about woman.

Women like apple because it's fashionable and losers can't get woman

>why does a board full of autismal "le techie geek" teenagers reinstalling linups, writing python helloworlds and arguing over pointless shit hate a brand beloved by productive professionals and "le stupid normies"
It embodies success, popularity, money and good looks - everything that they sorely lack in their miserable lives.

Xerox made first traditional desktop gui, Tablets have been around since the 80s, and became the modern capacitive versions we know and love to day in the early 2000s, apple was last to the tablet game. iPods brought the entire music industry to its knees literally fucking up anybodys ability to make a profit from music ever again. After decades of touchscreen smartphones, Samsung created the first capacitive smartphone running a linux distro based operating system, with a gui identical to the iPhone, almost an entire year before apple released the iPhone.

Apple has never created anything, they only steal ideas, mash them together, and let their shitty fanbase give them assloads of profit for their 3dollar chinese shit tech.

The iPhone wasn't even apple's first smart internet capable touchscreen phone, it was the newton, and it was trash, it wasn't until they copied samsungs early capacitive design that they finally could make a profit from smartphones

>NextStep reinvented the PC-UI

Fix

>2007
>ipod touch is released
>big bazinga theory starts being produced
>gamur shit started to ramp up after portal was released
was 2007 the beginning of the end?

Then don't claim that apple invented the mp3 player and tablets

>Xerox made first traditional desktop gui
Seconding this. I cant believe people still fall for the "apple made the gui" meme. Xerox made the mouse, the absolute tool needed for personal computing to take off. No amount of gui would have made the normies pick up computers if it was still all keystroke driven. Xerox was everything

>You can get a Mac for $500

Sadly it’s a neglected, badly dated product that Apple hasn’t refreshed in years.

No one should feel compelled to spend money on a Mac mini just because it’s the lowest-priced Mac. It’s a blight on an otherwise pretty solid Mac lineup (not including the other neglected and badly dated product on the opposite end of the spectrum, the Mac Pro, but at least Apple has acknowledged, albeit very belatedly, the latter’s stagnation and publicly promised a future for it).

>Xerox made first traditional desktop gui

This is only partially true. The Alto was more like a clunky prototype for a GUI, and it was big and heavy and priced way outside of the consumer market.

The Mac refined the GUI for a mass-market audience inside a portable, affordable desktop computer (which is what Apple’s strength has always been: take existing badly executed concepts and turn them into usable, highly integrated products for the mass market).

>Xerox made the mouse

Nope. The first public demo for a computer mouse was by Douglas Engelbart at Stanford in the 60s.

Not that guy but they definitely made them better

reinvent =/= invent you brainlets

Which is a very different claim from invent

The Newton was not a phone. It was squarely an offline PDA.

Can you guys at least get one thing right?

>Tablets have been around since the 80s, and became the modern capacitive versions we know and love to day in the early 2000s

HAHA, no. The norm for a tablet pre-iPad was to have a resistive touchscreen that required a stylus for all touch-based input.

>iPods brought the entire music industry to its knees literally fucking up anybodys ability to make a profit from music ever again

No, that was Napster and every other P2P file sharing technology that has come since.

>After decades of touchscreen smartphones, Samsung created the first capacitive smartphone running a linux distro based operating system, with a gui identical to the iPhone, almost an entire year before apple released the iPhone

Jesus Christ. Are you a Trump voter?

Apple did not do any of those things, they only steal credit for what others do and try to beat them to the punch line.

You can't seriously deny the impact these products had. But invented or reinvented is only half of the story.
They managed to be there first when the time was right. Existing Technology packed in a consumer friendly device marketed and hyped just right.
BUT anything they "invented" would be there right now if they didn't. Desktops where there, MP3 was there and Android was just around the corner.
Even the appstore cancer on desktops would be there...

Because they just jumped on the bandwagon and made everything they touched into shit, like Galileo and Leibniz/Newton, by introducing these asinine arguments over who did it better/first/etc.

None of that is true. No one takes Apple seriously here because the users are tech illiterate and all around ignorant, as shown by your post. There are a million other websites that you can roll around in your own shit in, Pajeet. Stop doing it here. We don't need or want you or your worthless posts.

>Android was just around the corner.
Only because Google had one of their guys on the Apple board.
Until the iPhone came out every Android phone was a Blackberry knock-off.
