And nobody would buy a Ryzen 1700 and run it on stock clock, so comparing the stock I3 vs an overclocked 1700/stock 1800X is more "realistic"

They cost twice as much as cheap B250, but with a 120$ to 140$ mono you still got that upgrade path. Not very budget friendly and not for budget builds unfortunately.
