Playing at 1080p

>Playing at 1080p
>At the end of 2017
I guess Intel shills really are poor after all.

Spent so much money on that i7 and 1080ti they can't afford more then 1080p monitor

4K is still a meme.

kek

What the point of going for a higher resolution if 1080p is enough?

1440p isn't though. Enjoy your low resolution shit.

Oh I don't know. Maybe to get rid of aliasing/jaggies. But maybe you need an eye exam.

>Maybe to get rid of aliasing/jaggies
maybe if youre an inch away from your 30 inch monitor then you can notice it

using a 27" 1080p monitor here and I can see every pixel
maybe you need to get your eyes checked?

why the fuck are you even using a 27 inch monitor in the first place

...

enjoy your 720p gaming

>end of 2017
>gaymin only wants new CPU and GPU
>playing on 22-23 inch 1080p screens

yes, gaymung is truly pushing PC progress

>720p

why not just 480p
I bet Intell will have even more fps

Poozen can even do 144hz 720p :D

I find that monitors are not upgraded as often as PC components.

Just look at the steam hardware survey, the GTX 1060 is the most popular card, meanwhile primary resolution is still 1080p and things like 4K and even 1440p are barely on the map when it comes to usage.

People are bombarded with commercials for TV when it comes to TV/film, but the same thing doesn't exist for monitors, so looks like 4K will be a slow uphill battle on PC

1990 called. They want you to go back.

>4k monitors are ridiculously expensive and even top-tier Nvidia cards barely push 60+ fps on most games
>1440p monitors are only starting to get cheap now and recent cards hit 100+ fps on it
>surprised that everyone stayed on 1080p for literally forever

Larger monitors make a noticeable difference in FPS games. They're also great for productivity.

Maybe using dsr. Its silk smooth

I'm still at 1280x1024 and perfectly happy. 5:4 never goes out of style.

>and perfectly happy

you can only be perfectly happy if you pair your screen with 8700K and 1080Ti

You'll have my 2500K when you pry it from my cold, dead socket.

lol you seem retarded op
what does resolution have to do with CPU?

>muh games
Everything according to Intel fags

resolution is maths therefore the cpu must do the maths

My point is that the CPU performance in games doesn't get affected by resolution.
But if the GPU hits 99% of course the CPU will have less work to do and be limited.

720p kek

>My point is

Your point is wrong
starting with 1440p to 4k the margin of difference between Ryzen and Intel becomes smaller, so Intel shills decided to have majority of tests in 1080p

my GPU has vtec

No they don't, its pixels that allow higher productivity for screen space unless you are talking about some 13" FHD

poorfag

So how's Vega going?
