>"modern" sites use 50% of your cpu loading emojis and the other 50% is constantly used by the botnet embedded in your hardware
what a great future

I just want more reliable hard disks/ SSDs.
Put some fucking redundancy in this shit
Sick and tired of disks just killing themselves and everyone considers it okay and using advanced filesystems and software solutions to mitigate data loss.

>6-7 ghz on laptops
>tb gpus
not gonna happen

possible in subscription type cloud based gaming system, imagine getting a 10core and a 1080ti for $3 per hour
nvidia is already dipping its toes in the cloud shit(nvidia grid)

now we just need a new 144hz remote screen shit

>Sup Forums still doesn't have a gf

Check your shit bro how about you invent a non-volatile of storing all of that porn?

What is wrong with NVIDIA grid?

...

>all major software is sold as a service
>soldered RAM and SSDs everywhere
>death of USB type A connectors in favor of type C

but that's a good thing, 3dpd a shit

>brb logging into my botnetted as fuck proprietary VR world.

When will the singularity happen guys

this plus 10 websites in basic internet package 20 in ultra package for $50 more. You can't choose them unless you upgrade to premium for $30/month more where you can choose 5 from the list. If it's not on the list you're fucked.

this is the only future for vr, starbucks or facebook or some other colossal entity will release a compelling vr solution and it will be insanely popular, because it's fucking vr, however whatever goes on in the vr world will all be televised like some sick reality tv show

Like that karaoke app that secretly recorded you and put it on youtube. Good times.

Sup Forums fags fighting:

>AMD fags can't holodeck at 8,000 scenes per second in ultra
> LOL, Intel fags are pathethic, the human brain can't perceive more than 2,000 SPS. Also, who holodecks in full reality resolution in 2025? In hyper reality resolution, the both the Intel Brain-i-25 and the AMD Hardden AssRipper will do 4,000 SPS. And the AssRipper has 256 cores, not everybody uses their computers to homodeck.
>LOL, 256 cores and still an IQ 310. Intel goes 330 with 192 cores. Kys, AMD shill.

And the story goes on...

>tfw you fell for the 64PB RAM meme
>wojakcryingsuicide.holowebm

>not delidding your virtual cpus in the year of our lord 2000 + 33

>3.5 EB of VRAM

Don't forget
>Basic webpage uses 1.5gb of ram
>Runs 1000 different fingerprinting methods

god I hope I have a life by then

4k will barely be mainstream by 2025

What was the mainstream resolution of 2009?

Possible when we get off silicon, dumb weeb

consumer-grade Q U A N T U M when

>mfw i won't live long enough to have a holographic husbando
why even live???

>tfw Sup Forums no longer exists in 2025+

STOP

DON'T TELL ME THAT

>tfw no Sup Forums alternatives either
>tfw everyone who ever used the site is in gulags

>desktops are a thing of the past
>Only OS's around are phones and tablets
>Headphones are now all Bluetooth, only high end professional equipment is wired
>Apple is now pushing their cordless phone with wireless charging
>storages for phones and tablets stay in the 100gb range and most storage is saved on the cloud (paid service no matter where you go)
>Android phones still copy apple
Same as it ever was

Realistic specs in 2025 (1200$ PC):
2TB SSD
32GB DDR7 DRAM
5 GHZ, 12 Cores CPU with some new architecture innovations alike to hyperthreading
GPU with 30GB Memory

>1200$ PC
>not adjusting for inflation
senpai the new price will be at least 120000000$in current day money.

>infinite/Zero pixel displays

prolly 720p or 1280 x 1024

I had a 1080p monitor

>Coin miners will replace ads

that wouldn't be so bad, at least we'd all be stuck there together
just like we are now

>implying we get some Star Trek scifi world in 2025 when in reality we still use the same Thinkpads

Because they already moved to 16K

There is a 1TB GPU now.

>people don't own computers, only terminals that can connect to their cloud account anywhere
>the concept of private life won't exist anymore, it's considered a thought crime.

>SSSD
>Super Solid State Drive?

we live in a time where crap like "you can't overclock your overclockable cpu if you don't have a Jewboard gayming GT 666", I'm not that optimistic

I have a waifu though

>50TB SSDs
Might be neat for mass storage, but for that it's more important that the price/GB goes down and reliability goes up.
You can already have 50TB SSD storage in RAID, it's just fucking expensive
>4k is poorfag tier
It's already hard to distinguish 4K from 1080p on a 50" telly, going above 4K will be mostly pointless. HDR10+OLED will be easier to appreciate, VR even more so.
>200hz on everything, minimum
Once again, not that beneficial. Most of us can't appreciate refresh rates above 144hz
>>Zen 4 dominates the market, 6-7+gHZ standard in laptops
Only if they manage to shrink dies to 4nm or so, and all manufacturers are struggling with that right now.
>>DDR7 RAM
DDR7 is just a name, it's doesn't necessarily imply more performance. DDR4 isn't even much faster than DDR3 since CAS latency has increased about as much as clock speeds
>>TB GPUs
Maybe, not sure.

...

>implying AMD will last past 2020
We will all be slaves to the intel overlords

>It's already hard to distinguish 4K from 1080p on a 50" telly
No it's not you blind nigger

>ssd
i don't think that's what he meant by "tb gpus". i could say i have 1tb of ram if i use a ssd as swap.

not gonna happen in 2025.

>2025
>1366x768 laptop

Redundancy comes from RAID. Never from a single more reliable device. Also, backups.

I like that last one Type-C is pretty godly

>soldered ram and ssd
you act as if this is a bad thing.
>have enough ram to use for the several generation that the hardware is good for and replace the entire board when the need arises for it
>in turn get a more compact and efficient board
>production cost is cheaper and the board is easier to manufacture resulting in a lower price
>ssd to cache most used data and configuration files
>rom for OS
>have personal server to store any excess data

Came here to say this, regular laptops will probably still have that resolution.

...

Yup.
Or, even better, Liquid State Drives
Because my Thinkpad T420 will still work fine in 2025

>M$ on Suicide watch
>Normies using Chinese OS
>OP is still a fagget
