Convert azure.jpg bmp:- | aplay -r 44100
ok
>implying I run that when it could contain code obfuscated as image
>trying to embed data in a lossy image format
I had a good chuckle.
Ah yes, it could contain hidden code.
Code that would be played out of the speakers.
what if it's an exploit?
you really don't understand what that command does, do you?
chill beats, faggot
Had to get imagemagick and alsa-utils for this on arch
How did you convert the raw audio into a bitmap in the first place?
Did you write a bitmap header to it?
implying vlc or any other media players have never had exploits like that
>chill beats, faggot
Really? All I got was static with a buzzing.
Really? Any articles I could read about this?
Yeah, it's got real audio behind it.
OP teach us your ways, answer me
scarybeastsecurity.blogspot.com
Here's one, but it's for a forgotten an unmaintained format.
sick hah
>real audio behind it
Any chance you could upload it somewhere? vocaroo or something like that?
1. Convert it to bmp, e.g. convert jewsdid911.jpg output.png
2. Then open audacity, and File > Import > raw data
3. See pic related
4.Hit play
5. ?????
6. Enjoy beats
Fuck, drunk
that should be output.bmp, and this is the pic
Plays exactly the same way
>Any chance you could upload it somewhere? vocaroo or something like that?
where's the fun in that
MODS
That's not the same data man
I don't know why
I mean as you can see above its not working for me for some reason.
what did you use to convert it? what OS?
youtube.com
Is this the sauce? Beat sounds similar but I'm not convinced
imagemagick, just saved the file and used the command from the OP. Used imagemagick and audacity to play, same result
convert cool.png bmp:- | aplay -f cd
What are you using for the conversion from pcm to bmp???
This is driving me crazy
i dont hear anything ree
try this on fir size
user who was having issues earlier, got it sorted out now.
copy bmp header and unsigned 8 bit raw audio to file named bmp. open in gimp then save as jpg
( dd if=any.bmp bs=144 count=1; dd if=some_raw_audio.aiff bs=1M count=28 ) > 007.bmp
...
neat
lasted surprisingly long as well
Why are you teaching him? Now he won't figure it out for himself. When you teach people basic tasks like this you encourage laziness on this board.
It's actually not a super bad idea to use jpeg since it exploits the periodicity of the audio stream.
it's shit
this one doesn't work for me desu
>Why are you teaching him?
so people will upload some more audio goodies. calm down punk
>this one doesn't work for me desu
It's not supposed to, it's the fft of op to show how jpg is probably not a bad format in this context...
Oh I see, I'm dumb
bümp
Thanks for the pointers. Even at 100 JPEG, it introduces a decent amount of noise though.
...
MOOOODS
...
I hide data in the color difference between adjacent pixels all the time
Please take a seat over there.
I actually ran this about a year ago to see if it still did anything. It didn't, but my computer did something weird around the time that made me shit the bed thinking it did but it wasn't related to it.
You can see the actual code if you convert it to bmp and feed that to strings.
...
>using jaypeg for raw data
this thread is retarded
another one
How to make this?
it's called jpeg audio compression ,plebian.
ffmpeg -i out.webm -f rawvideo - | ffplay -f u8 -
open your music in audacity and export it as .raw
post your settings too (8 bit signed, endianness)
then change extension to .data
import it in gimp
and save as png
this one has 2 channels
Thank you
