For start, stop using Google play

Or alternatively, you can stop being a tinfoil autist that tells others what to use/do

>Confirmed botnet
>muh tinfoil
How does Google manage to do this?

>whines about botnets
>while using Sup Forums

>I use this one botnet
>better install Windows 10 with max telemetry, install Chrome, store passwords to all websites I visit in it and upload multiple pics of myself to Google Drive daily
Using botnets is not an on/off state

Way to be a hypocrite

What do you need F-Droid and Yalp Store for when you don't have any other apps?

>Google

The absolute state of nu-Sup Forums

adaway

Mainly discord, youtube, maps, onebusaway, clover, Twitter, and FB messenger

Oh and snapchat even though it sucks ass on Android. Need it for college hoes

Why use clover when the native extension is better in most ways?

Except it isn't. It's fucking trash

It's more battery efficient, and that's good enough

>using jewtube when newpipe exists

does the yalp store work without gplay services?

Yeah

Recommend me some online games Sup Forums
I started playing Clash Royale but I need something else to distract me

Fire Emblem Heros?

Just get a 3DS and hack it or something. Phone games suck ass

why not just install the apk manually?

Play Store is full of shit...

I grok FDroid but what's Yalp Store for?

I don't get how people really use Plex. Give me a short explanation of how you use it, you wizard

>apps

Getting apks from the Play Store without needing GApps

It's for installing apps from the Play Store without having to install Play Store

But if I already have Gapps?

Then you remove them

>put torrented shows/movies on computer running Plex server
>watch on any other device (TV, computer, phone) using Plex app

Alto's Adventure

I have a server where I download stuff to and use Plex to index those files and I use a client to stream them on my phone, computer or ps4. It's a neat solution when you want to access remote content, but I also have seen it used as just a fancy library of local content.

I was wondering if you're doing the local thing.

So, how much is this server setup costing you? Lastly, if you're torrenting on your remote server, any precautions you're taking?

30eur/month for 2tb, i7 cpu and 1gbps connection from hetzner (robot-your-server). I rarely use public trackers and if I do I only download them, not seed them, to avoid popping up on some radar. Private or semi-private trackers only in combination with usenet. I have paid for some usenet indexers but omgwtfnzbs is the best right now. I have this theory that there are less likely to be government honeypots or watchdogs from other companies on those platforms, so I don't ever use vpns or the such.

I live in NL and the server is located in DE

Thanks! That helps

just intersted, what are you guys using Discord on a mobile for? I don't see any privacy benefit over whatsapp or similar and I don't think it has a wide user base outside of gaming?

to chat with people and exchange memes

Poor mans version? Set up Samba on your computer and Ghost Commander on your mobile device. Enjoy your media without out the bloat and hassle of fiddling with Plex.

Would one say APKPure is clean ?

Apkpure.com

I think most APK's may be ssmall enough that you could run them through Virus Total and get an answer before you install them. I've been desperate for a particular app a few times and this worked for me. I'd never use anything from there without scanning first.

Hacked Apks mine bitcoins bro

For File Manager, highly recommend FX

The thing is, I'm looking into an alternative to replace completely Gapps and Google Play

It means I would need the app to be installed on my phone with the permissions to auto check for updates

The application itself is kind of well built, and comfy to browse.

But I don't know if I can trust it. Should I stay around something like Yalp Store on F-Droid ?

As far as I know, it's not "hacked" paid apks, they just upload apks and verify if the signature is the same than the on the Play Store

At least it's marketed like this

jesus christ, I'm gonna c/p that and analyze later

Yalp store. It's a light play store client. Checks for updates if you enable that. It can filter through ad-less apps and free apps. It's amazing.
Aptoide. If you want to avoid Google's servers completely. Although I'd avoid stores that aren't official since literally anyone can make a store and post an app. It checks for updates automatically by default. The issue is it will sometimes take a day or two for an app to be updated since they run their own servers.

Avoid anything else. Other alternative stores are potential malware.

You're already using a phone so it literally doesn't matter.

>doesn't matter
Buy Librem 5

being able to download Google play applications without a Google account basically

does google+ still work with yalp store when I want to move my Love Live SIF account between multiple devices?

Nice BR. Viva Dilma.

Are you ashamed that your bank is Bradesco?

I'm trying clover on my phone now and i think it's worse. I'm only using it because I want a filter that actually hides posts, instead of stubbing them. I use Sup Forums X on my PC for the same reason. I think the layout is less optimal, but it's worth using X just to completely remove shitposters.

All the games I recommend are lucky patcher compatible. That means free in app purchases.

Hill Climb Racing. It's lots of fun to see how different vehicles eat up the terrain.

10 Billion Wives is nice if you play it ironically.

The sequel, 20 Billion Wives is also nice.

Plants Vs Zombies 1 is great fun. The sequel sucks balls because of microtransactions that can't be circumvented.

Cats are Liquid is a fun platformer.

Cut the Rope 1 and 2.

Where's my Water 1 and 2.

Sky Force and Sky Force Reloaded (these games are the shit).

And finally, Warhammer 40k: Freeblade.

Who the fuck keeps bitcoins on their phone?

I only have the phone app, contact book and text messages. Everything else is deleted or disabled.

At that point, you may as well not even have a touch screen phone. Just use a mini phone with buttons if you truely want a cell phone that does nothing except call and message.

yeah but im too cheap to buy one. My phone is usually switched off in my bag anyways

what exactly is bait about my post according to you?

Trying to find a good browser.

>Trying to find a good browser.
>Tuga is shit at downloading anything and has become a pain

What are you looking for in a browser?

Microsoft Edge honestly

Light, option to save data, not a battery hog, bookmarks easily created and able to send websites to home screen.

Feel like it's too unoptimized to use as my daily driver.
