btw OP install Gentoo
The only true way is ~/bin

Portage does not have this problem.
It‘s the power of free software. You can’t delete it, you can only set it free, and some buts choose to stay with you once they are free.
Are you finnish? That way of randomly saying ses, I've only seen it in local YTPs and fans of those.
Dumb normalfag.

Dogfucker pls go

apt sucks. The others are ok though.
Stop using apt.
dnf doesn't have this problem and reliably cleans up ALL dependencies
Download everything in binaries, compile yourself, keep in user directory
I do the same for AUR stuff I get with git, so I just git pull whenever they get an update
apt autoremove --purge does a hardclean
thats actually bretty nice
i did that briefly, then i just learned to use my package manager properly
even if you manage to make a total mess of root, you can use the package manager to identify files not tracked by the package manager
ocd much?
>nuget an assembly
>nuget second assembly
>first assembly has a copy of the second assembly embedded within it
>remove second assembly
>first assembly is eviscerated
>need to reacquire first assembly
>it's a new version and it breaks the project
>apt purge
