How come? I think "easy to use" distributions like Elementary and Zorin are growing. Actually good distributions like pic related are slowly dying though.
Gentoo desu
Time to upgrade that rig gramps
>Slackware
It's actually kinda getting a second life now with all this systemd hate
>I think "easy to use" distributions like Elementary and Zorin are growing
Both of them are kinda useless when Ubuntu is around and the only things that they bring to the table are paywalls and bugs.
...
gentoo
you wish
>and the only things that they bring to the table are paywalls and bugs.
Which makes it a more recognizeable experience for windows users for example. It's not a bad thing. Paywalls is what windows users consider comfy and features like that is what makes windows the most popular OS. Linux can't be as popular if they don't adopt these features
>It's actually kinda getting a second life now with all this systemd hate
Good.
Ubuntu with his new gnome meme desktop
Gnomeme.
>1.9Gib
Ew.
>Both of them are kinda useless when Ubuntu is around
they bring the DE which is the main selling point
>paywalls
>inserting a 0 into a text field is a paywall now
Don't forget goys, if you don't pay for elementaryOS you're basically cheating the system
Nah. Slackware has stood the test of time. It'll be around for a lot longer than say Bunsenlabs. Slackware is a very good distro.
>paywalls
I don't even use elementary, but really, go fuck yourself.
>slackware
I love that Subgenius reference right there, that kinda stuff is lacking nowadays.
How?
>manual dependacy resolving
>using a fork of a macOS clone based on another macOS clone
Top lel
Dependency resolving isn't hard on Slackware.

Thanks AlienBob.
Do you really think that Ubuntu is going anywhere any time soon?
Is that the best girl?
this
'parently folks don't know about it.
Actually believing this.
>Put a shitty blogpost about "cheating the system"
>Get a load of comments on how these inbred fucks shouldn't be calling most of their users cheaters
>"Quick let's remove that before more people notice it and sweep it under the rug like the cowards we are"
No sir, you're the easily fooled.
That's why you do a "full" install. You'll have all the libs/dev packages you need to install potty much anything
are you a poorfag ?
Ubuntu desktop? Yes.
Ubuntu. Nope.
I'm glad non systemd distros are slowly growing
