What resolution does Sup Forums use?

www.strawpoll.me/14330142
if you choose other then say what it is for fucks sake

1080p on PC
1440p on phone

really gets u thinking

800x600 best res

16:10 master race, 1920x1200

>16:10 master race
Amen

anything more than 1080p on a fucking phone is a joke

P happy with 1920x1200 on my Surface.

Its actually not full res and results in some of the screen not even being used at the top and bottom but it works best for m needs.

b-but VR

>tfw I'm the only one who voted 4k

>no triple 1200
OP get it together

1280x1024 CRT mustard race, etc.

This. But botnet-free mobile VR isn't coming in a long time so I don't even look forward to it.

I'm waiting for the day where a resolution poll will include VR because the resolution will be good enough for whatever dimension virtual screen you please. The current-gen headsets dont have enough res to accomplish this yet.

1080x1920

then my other monitor is 1920x1080

4k is nice for desktop use with proper scaling. I use 1440 on my Spectre and with some shenanigans with gnome it looks pretty great. Remember, you can always downscale to 1080 for gaming/whatever.

900p desktop for 8 years now
720p phone

1366x768

>pimax vr, an 8k headset

>no 1400x1050

3x1080p (one is my TV, not always used), 2x1680x1050, 1x1200x1600 (vertical)

2048x1158 on my pc
1080x1920 on my phone

VGA on every device

Trumpredditors have not left yet?

w-what?
What does that have to do with resolutions?

900p and 768p in desktop
480p in phone (?)

This.
>5760 x 1080
>run 3D emulators at this res
>post it on /vr/
>flaming butthurt hardware faggots flip shit every time

Bless your soul, user.

i'm starting to build a new battlestation after moving and selling all my shit. I'm thinking a few 16:10 monitors. How do they feel vertically? I figure there's no reason to use 16:9 unless you're watching movies. Any significant downsides you think?

2560x1080 on desktop
1920x1080 on phone
2560x240 on CRT TV

I haven't done it recently. Anyway, even if I did, posting emulators is ban-on-sight on /vr/ as the entire board turns each console into a secret club circlejerk wherein you aren't a "true" enthusiast until you have a real copy on real working hardware, and it's ok if you haven't actually played it in 2 decades. Go find any game no matter how good or bad it is, as long as it's expensive on amazon and ebay for some reason, will have this same shitty cult around it just for that.

The fuck are you on about

That's like saying that this board only allows linux and programming discussion. You're just bitter about some people finding you unfunny. 4 anons complaining about input lag on emulators aren't all mods waiting to put the finger on you, mr. fagwaffle.

>not 3840x240 on CRT TV

Since you know your shit, what's the difference really?

Desktop: 2x1440p + 1x1080p
Laptop: 1080p
Tablet: 1080p
Phone: 720p

More compatibility with arcade resolutions like 384x224 (for CPS games)

Oh well, I learn something new every day.

I would probably try that though I don't know if it really can handle it.

1080p
1600x900

Dual 16:10 vertical, 1200x1920

1440p on main monitor, 1080p on secondary. Wasn't an option.

1280x720 phone
3200x1800 laptop
1920x1080 monitor

1366x768
Have the option of getting 4k right now but its totally not worth the extra $250, extra battery consumption, and extra heat generated.

dual 1080p 60hz
1600x900 laptop
1280x720 phone

2560 x 1440 on main, 1200 x 1920 on the side.

>no 5:4 resolutions
At least include the basic ones.

Those are just normally emulating it with expected results. Post any feature that an emulator has that really goes out of the box and does something crazy and it's butthurt city. Nobody's really going to immediately see the difference between casual resolutions that everyone has, but post 16:3 and they'll flip. Or go into remote multiplayer territory on the 64 or snes, same deal. Also any retexture pack for any game would do the same.

These are all cheap games you can get for nothing in your pic. Bring up CBFD, earthbound, super mario rpg, or anything else memed into high prices and they're going to flip shit at anyone emulating it. Especially earthbound, the entire internet worth of smelly loser earthbound communities insisted that even when the parent company re-released it on the wii store, the game would go to shit.

one 1080p, one 5:4

none realy

1440x900 75Hz on my PC
1080x1920 60Hz on my phone

4K desktop
2560×1600 tablet
1080p Surface 3
720p phone

>whatever 16:10 1080p is
It's either 1680x1050 or 1920x1200 you faggot

This

other

2560x1600 master race

>what revolution does Sup Forums use

3440x1440 on a 34" LG ultrawide.
By far the best experience I've had with a display yet.

1080P monitors at home, 2560 x 1600 on my lappy.

>1600x1200 most used
/g really is poor eh?

1280x800 on the go.
1366x768 added as secondary screen at home.
1920x1080 for watching on couch.

1280x1024

1024x768 CRT masterrace :v)

one crt 1600x1200
another one 960x1280
one lcd 1200x1600
another one 2560x1440

This desu, wanted a sexy U2412M but i'm too poor and got an Asus e-IPS VS229.

>2560x1600
Unless it's a 13 inch retina with that scaling shit, thats too high a res even on a 17.3 inch notebook.

ITT poorfags

3840x2160
2560x1440
1200x1920 (portrait)
Basically 3 generations of monitors, I just kept using the older ones when I upgraded, saw no reason to stop.

>VR on a battery powered device strapped to your face
I'm fine with not overheating my battery and blowing my face off

Am I not seeing right or is there THE former resolution not even listed?
2560x1600
should have bought 2 x 1440p for the same price though.

1920x1080 144hz

I have multiple devices so it doesn't mean much. My desktop preference at this point is 1920x1080p because with my fucked up eyes I can't really see much benefit in 4K and most websites are designed for 1366x768 at the lowest end and are decent at 1080P.
>8 diopters in one eye, 9 diopters in the other
>lenses alone cost $300-$450, not including the frames. more for sunglasses

1080p on desktop, laptop and phone

I'm not gonna post in the poll, since my usage case is fucked.
The Thinkpad (that I'm currently using) has a resolution of 1600X900. My DESKTOP, though, has three screens extended. One is 1080p (the main one, a Benq), one is slightly less than that (I dunno, 1600X1080 or something close to that), and one is a 4:3 CRT in 1280X800. I have no idea how many pixels that adds up to, but probably a fuckton.

its 1680x1050

I use both 1920x1080 (LCD) and 1024x768 (CRT)
