anything that doesn't need screws because fuck screwing video connectors.

Display port because its really satisfying to plug in/out and it performs nice

DVI

Supports both analogue and digital signals.

DVI and DP, for different reasons.

Open standard, no licensing, I wish products without HDMI were more common. Every time you buy something with HDMI you're paying a license fee to the HDMI conglomerate. Fuck those leeches.

DP. Fuck everything else.

DVI
can do all that HDMI can , but is much sturdier and does not break as often
also can carry analog signals (VGA)

after that its Displayport in my opinion

>satisfying to plug out

bitch, try removing one from the monitor when you can't grip it on both sides.

it fucking stinks

so this is the power (or lack thereof) of open source

no boss or organization to slap your shit if you design something out of spec kek

>chinks fucked up the specification
Wow such a shit standard amirite

Just apply common sense when buying $0.1 chinkshit cables.

And to actually answer this, DVI and DP are the best right now, with DP moving towards being the best in the future due to the possibility of much higher bandwidth.

HDMI because muh both audio and video

DVI and DP carry audio

I actually didn't know DVI carried audio.

DVI can carry audio but's it's not part of the standard so it's not guaranteed to work.

For example not all DVI to HDMI cables will keep the audio.

I have a HP 23" from 2010 that supports it.

Not listed any where in the literature that I could find.

Hooked it to my new video-card on my last new PC build and WTF, sound, how?

Nice surprise.

RGBHV over 15 pin D-Sub

>using the botnet

>plugging something in and pulling it out repeatedly is reddit

I was worried a year ago when I got my first HDMI monitor due to Sup Forums sperging out about HDMI. Works great no problems.
