Peer to peer mmo using crypto currency

Would it be possible to create a blockchain powered mmorpg?
Probably not an action mmo but more like EvE online or a browser strategy mmo.
My idea is that it would be based on a crypto currency made up of multiple currencies for each in game resource or building. Your computer could be the literal representation of an island, planet, or space station you own. It has a unique ratio of resources to harvest and a map location randomly seeded by your wallet id. If you own the appropriate buildings you are able to mine workers, and the number of workers you have would be multiplied by your computer's currency rewards from gpu mining to get whatever harvesting or building rewards you. Trading resources and moving units could require time to pass based on distance verified by the miners. Combat is treated like a wallet transaction but is only accepted if the player's position, choice, and reported outcome is valid according to the game rules.

Also the game would be free as in freedom.

Please be nice im kinda stoned and not that smart but this seems plausible.

Why did you have to post this?

im lonely and had an idea...

i think that people want to play games because theyre fun, not because they employ meme technology

it could be fun. Some people think mmo strategy games are fun.

This.

Please, add more buzzwords into your idea.

I just used the 1 over and over again faggot

Ok

If implemented properly, it could definitely be an interesting game mechanic. Sim space station. Balance between economic warfare and military action, creating alliances, trading pacts, etc.

aaaa what the fuck is that image
!!

I didn't even read your stupid post. Don't upload that picture again. My skin is crawling

Not OP, but how about this one?

There's this very faint disgust from the way it's made, but still some slight arousal.

hmmm....

Bumping so more people have to see this image.

Ayo how.do ya make these boi?

I think something like this already exists (decentraland.org). But yes, it is a very interesting idea, and I would be interested to support it if it ever becomes a thing

it doesnt even need memechain

I didn't. Someone else did.

cool idea OP, i was thinking about something very similar at work today

good luck pulling it off

PM me their AOL account name. i got a few TiBs of hentai to noodle.

I can't prove it, but I'm fairly certain Funcom's Secret World Legends does this. Again, can't prove it, but any player of the game wouldn't be surprised by them doing this.

those arnt meme words
>short for peer to peer
>short for massive multiplayer online
>short for cryptocurrency

A lot of people have Triphobia

It skeeves them out.

>tfw I feel nothing watching these pictures

Feels good being a White Man with quality genetics.

Why the fuck would you ever do this?
If you want a resource-based game you can build one without a gigantic computational and storage overhead

>tfw no spaghetti gf

The big problem is that there's a huge disparity between people's hardware. So right off the bat there will be people with 5x as much of a resource income because they have the better GPU. People aren't going to buy a kick-ass GPU just to play this game. And the bottom 80% of people aren't going to have "fun" playing a game that is inherently un-egalitarian. This meme game is dead on arrival.

I constanza'd in real life.

Hey buddy wanna shoot some hoops? All my shots are worth 5 points and all your shots are worth 1 point.
That doesn't sound fun to you? You socialist faggot!

I'm legally blind, yet that doesn't stop me from playing FPS's.

Another possibility is that instead of it relying on computation, you use a game of skill.
