Thinkpad

hey is 312 dollars expensive for a
Lenovo ThinkPad T410 - Intel i7 M620 2,67GHz 320GB HDD 4GB 14,1" - Grade B

and is it good?

does anyone have experience with it?

>2,67GHz
>4GB
fuck that

I picked up a t440p w/ an i5 @ 3.3. + 8gb for $260

Yes, it should be $100 or less.
Hell i can buy a T420 with 8GB RAM for $150.

extremely expensive, you can do much better for that money.

sorry to hijack thread but..
there is a t420 w/ 8gb ram on letgo right now.

should i pick it up? not even sure what i would do with it but Sup Forums has me looking at the strangest things

well thank you for the quick respond...
its crazy to see how cheap you guys can find stuff.
but i should have mentioned that i live in svandinavia...
here its 480 dollars for an t440p...

Super Expensive, you can buy Thinkpad T430 and maxed out with 16GB RAM

don't fall for the memes, the only reason thinkpads go for 100 or less because there's something that needs to be replaced which would require extra funds for parts like hard drive ram nub replacements. but some would argue that this is the fun of ideapads. so Just follow your heart, if you buy a thinkpad already set up then that's your business not some greasy neckbeard on Sup Forums

it shouldn't be that much
don't do it.

If it's refurbished, maybe.

I literally just bought a W530 with that kind of money

Too expensive, I've seen W520 for $300.

I bought my T420 for like $150 USD
> Core i5 @2.5 < 3.2GHz on turbo mode
> 4GB of RAM
> 320 HDD

The Core i7 on these laptops are basically Core i5's overclocked

first gen i7 processors are getting really old. For a few more bucks you can get a second gen which should last a lot longer.
>312 dollars
lmao, didn't even read that the first time. It's a rip off. Anything above 100 bucks is a rip off for that machine.

I bought my T410 for $150, upgraded the ram and bought a dock all for $50. You can do better.

i bought my x230 for $240, come with i5 3320m,4gb ram,320gb and amazing IPS Screen. no regret

>dell e6530, i7 3720qm 16gb ram 1080p screen for $220CAD

thinkpads are overpriced memes

Got my x230t for $160, with your specs, and in near mint condition

i bought my x220 for 80 dollars

>Sandy Bridge

OP, I paid 220 almost five years ago for a ThinkPad T400.

expensive as hell, but the design brings me back to the good days of when IBM made thinkpads

Hows the keyboard? Is it just as good as the early T series?

>tfw Grade A
enjoy ur cumstains

does anyone buy these things without completely upgrading them anyway?
really you should care about physical integrity.

although, does everything get replaced? I'm under the impression that to swap a laptop processor you have to swap the motherboards, and all the ports are attached to the motherboard, so wouldn't you need one that will line up with all the holes in the casing, or do people drill their own?

X1 carbon 5th gen or t470s?
