Let me guess: you "need" more

Yeah, have you tried using an iPhone 4 recently? Laggy mess, totally unusable with the modern web apps these code artisans have crafted.

If it wasn’t for website bloat I’d happily go back to my 4 - I had it till 2016.

That's the reason why people "need" more, the manufacturer (Apple) creates the need for it artificially. Ever heard of planned obsolescence?

superior rotational velocidensity

If iPhones supported custom OSes, i'd definitely be using a 4s instead of a moto g.

implying other manufacturers dont do the exact same thing

Let me guess: you "need" more

>"because other people do it too"
That does not make it right.

I've used one for a week, on iOS 7. It's ok as a phone + mail + WhatsApp device and the camera is still good enough for everyday use

>planned obsolescence
I don't think anyone would have paid what it would cost for 2017 phone tech in 2011.

That's why I put Apple in brackets, of course it applies to the vast majority of manufacturers as well. I only specified Apple because that's the one we're talking about.

not mobile but i agree

I use a flip phone. I use the calculator, the camera, the note feature, and the web browser when I'm waiting in a slow line.

Still own an iPhone 4. Works fine if you don't need the latest "Snapchat Strikes Millenial Smartphone Zombie" shit
is not totally right, but it's true that it sometimes lag and some modern wep apps can't work on it.
Fucking millenials and their JS Bloat.

My dad still uses one. Catches network better than other new phones.

yes.
my screen is cracked
its stuck on 9.x because it's 32bit
it doesnt get new apps
it laggs
screen is so fucking tiny
it's not confortable
battery last 2 hours doing anything, a day if i barely use it
it heats up too much with anything intensive like google maps, twitch
storage is really small
3g
etc

>4
>not 4s the special iphone dedicated to steve jobs

iphone 4 was a great phone.

Once I used a phone with a 6 inch screen it was ruined for me though, might as well be a little Nokia.

All I need is this (iPhone 4) but with a 10x longer battery life.

Used iphone 5 for few months. Good normie phone but not for me.

- no dynamic keyboard
- no scanner in drive app
- no equalizer in google music/online radio
- no torrent client/video player
- sending anything but links/pics borderline impossible
- shitty cables that fail all the time, replace it with good chink cable - apple blacklists it with next update and it stops working
- super shitty gallery app mixing camera/IM images

Would rather have new $150 xiaomi than $1k iphone

>So bad he died the day after it came out

This. It overheats very often and lags like hell.

That's the lag king!

Pretty typical use case. It is great for people who just want it as a phone w/ internet capabilities...and nothing more.

but is slow as fuck, and that micro screen...

Better suggestion: iPhone 5S

>Not getting a redmi note 4 sd

Best suggestion: iPhone SE.

Not really.

in all honesty I would only trade my 5S for SE, but for now there's no reason to upgrade.

Maybe in a year, when SE is even cheaper and 5S is no longer supported... thinking_emoji.png

Almost forgot it existed. But, you're right user...

I'd still use it if I had the charger.

is iOS 11 shit on the SE? i'm still on 9 at the moment.

also does anybody with a 5S or SE have dust in both their cameras?

I tried one in the Apple Store running iOS 11. Seemed to run smooth.

They battery is shit though.

iOS11.1 fixes the battery issues.

no it doesn't

You can probably buy a new battery for the phone and replace it

Can't run the latest iOS and no longer receiving security patches.

I'd be doing the internet a disservice if I was walking around with an unpatched device like a lagdroid user.

Let me guess: you "need" more

There's never enough.

this + lineageOS, do anybody really needs anything more?

I actually use it to this day and it works fine.
