>Underlining a tough stand adopted by US President Donald Trump against Indian IT professions and software companies, a key Congressional committee in the United States on Thursday voted to pass a law that proposes to increase the minimum salary of H-1B visa holders from $60,000 to $90,000.
>"It also could disrupt the marketplace, threaten thousands of US jobs, and stifle US innovation by unfairly and arbitrarily targeting a handful of companies who used just 16 per cent of the new H-1B visas in FY 2016 while imposing no new requirements on the vast majority of companies that use the visas to do the same exact same things," Chandrashekhar said.
>"Unfortunately, this legislation is being driven by myths, not reality. US government data show very significant shortages of high skill talent around the country. The data show that the high skill visa programmes are not a major cause of US unemployment, and IT specialists working on temporary visas are not cheap labour," said Chandrashekhar.
>"Quite simply, our members do not deserve to be treated differently from their American or European counterparts," he said.
Senate and house reelection is more important than ever right now

wtf? I'll move to Canada instead.

>threaten thousands of US jobs I don't count imported pajeets writing shit code for peanuts as a real "US job".
Good, fuck H1B fraud, salty pajeets can go drown in their pile of shit back in india.
Aaron Jenkins
It needs to be location dependent, eg: bay area should be min $200,000
Brayden Rodriguez
Good, remove pajeet Drumpf doing something good for once
Jaxon Butler
or they can just leave the pajeets in India and contract with their company to do the work, instead of hiring people (foreign or domestic) in the states.
Brody Martin
This sucks.

> IT specialists working on temporary visas are not cheap labour
If aren't cheap labour will makes over $100,000 easy, means new law don't change anything, poor logic pajeet.
Just make H1B over $250,000 if really want best talent world.
Brandon Scott
t. salty pajeet you have to go back
Levi Gray
If anything, Americans will get payed better because of this.
Levi Sanders
>tfw all the jobs in my town are government related. Us citizen only. Get fucked poo in the loos.
Brayden Miller
Companies are just opening offices and hiring Indians in India now instead of fucking with visas.
So instead of paying Indians on US soil who pay US taxes and spend US dollars in the US, companies are hiring Indians in India and all that money is leaving the US.
I work for a major tech company that is doing exactly this and plans to greatly expand their india hiring. Basically 80% of all new hires will be in India. This is a desirable company to work for so we're not hiring meme pajeets either.
Chase Reed
It's not even a competition. They just want cheap labor.
Grayson Cooper
>not wanting increased competition well, no shit? do you not understand basic economics?
William Rodriguez
lmao that's just about the last thing that's going to happen
Kayden Taylor
>US government data show very significant shortages of high skill talent At the low wages they want to pay.
Trump and Congress will buckle anyways.

Good, send back all the stupid monkeys who behave as if they are some kind of royals once they set foot in USA.. for 3 years i couldn't pass the lottery.. fine. But a literal sub 60 IQ tard got lucky as is now somehow my boss for just being lucky.
An earnest plea to burgers! Send all the shitskin pajeets back to our shithole and MAGA

This is bad. Braindrain is what made America great. If companies can't afford to steal intelligent people than other countries will have an advantage. Nice job drumpf.

How about you treat the fundamental problem of there being too little -competent- Americans to fill these job openings?
I've been working in IT in both the US and EU, and I meet so many Americans that look good on paper, have the rights certs etc, yet are absolute retards.
There's your problem right there
William Nelson
Libshit towns and states aren’t america and trump will take care of them. Say hi to your prison inmates for me because you were rude to achmed

Immigrants fuck off, once the spics are back in mexico the blacks are next
Charles Davis
That just means they are somewhat knowledgeable in the english language. Doesnt mean they have a fucking clue what to do if its not in their script, or that you can fucking understand them on the inevitable phone calls you will be making, because they do not know how to how to continue working on problem xy despite you writing extensive documentation for them after the email saying "literaly hit return on your keyboard" to make stuff go somehow requires approval of some other pajeet .
Aiden Howard
>once the spics are back in mexico Well you see, they were in Mexico until you took the land from Mexico. If you didn't want spics you shouldn't have taken spic land.
Jaxon Barnes
Wait how getting a raise is a bad thing? Unless they are so bad the only way for them to get a job involved being paid 1/3 of the normal wage I don't see any issue with this law
Nathaniel Hernandez
REKT
Connor Adams
Spics and beaners lost a war and still can’t get over losing. James K Polk only mistake was not a forced relocation of all mexicans back to mexico
Jordan Gonzalez
What the fuck is this shit even Are they suggesting that getting paid is actually harmful to indian professionals? Are they suggesting indians should be paid less? If there's actual demand and lack for skill, why is anyone arguing about its price?
Jack Reed
I'm just saying. It's like conquering an African country and getting upset that you have a lot of niggers in your country afterwards; what did you expect?
Gavin Edwards
Begone Pajeet!
If I read this correctly, it means a Pajeet exodus, and a higher chance of actually getting a FUCKING JOB?
Justin Adams
>1 billion people >they're all the same shit workers This kind of attitude is exactly what will make things worse. You don't think they can compete, they can, do, and will. This law change is going to suck money out of the US. Remember companies moving all their manufacturing to Mexico? Well tech companies are now moving their offices to Mexico and India for cheaper labor. The end of high paid tech is now beginning.
Daniel Brown
And the job of getting rid of them hasn’t been finished yet.
Ian Bennett
but indians are literally cheap labor. they're basically slaves except they're being paid low wages.
Noah Gomez
It reduces the incentive for companies to import pajeets to the states, think of it this way, if the min salary was set at $1mill/yr, will companies suddenly start paying pajeets that much?
Jaxon Diaz
>Libshit towns and states aren’t america
If you remove blue states and cities america would have the gpd of mexico
Christopher Phillips
How is this a bad thing? Any increase in minimum wage to 15 was a "victory" for San Diego (although half my workplace got laid off recently and now make 0)
This will just keep underpaid people out and give more to the professionals that do deserve more (which also means we actually have professionals coming in)
Grayson Morris
Blue states and cities would collapse within 6 months, maybe earlier
Jordan Peterson
>Well you see, they were in Mexico until you took the land from Mexico. If you didn't want spics you shouldn't have taken spic land.
jesus christ. the territory of Mexico was nearly depopulated when acquired by the US (thanks, smallpox!), and spics were like 3% of the national population until the 1960s.
Zachary James
I work as a recruiter for an engineering company. That pajeet quoted in the OP is actually correct. There simply is not enough homegrown talent in STEM. Anyone complaining about immigrants taking our jobs is just a retard that is being outplayed by a literal third world pajeet.
Thomas Jenkins
>export 50% of jobs overseas >let in millions of immigrants >import millions more on work contracts >fill 25% of remaining jobs with forigners and illegals > over 75% of us jobs new being done be 3rd world shit skins for slave wages OY VEY!
Anthony Allen
Being openly racist to beaners was once acceptable even 40 years ago in california
Sebastian Morales
I thought democrats wanted higher salaries. Requiring people to pay more for foreign workers than they pay for local workers seems like a good thing. It does not make sense to have unemployed people locally and then import workers just because they are willing to work for less. I mean hate the guy if you like, but how is this a bad thing?
Gavin Jones
>threaten thousands of US jobs >literally foreign workers
Ryan Edwards
This. We need more of this from drumpf.
Jose Howard
>Law raises salaries of immigrants so they receive similar wages as native people. >Liberals think that's bad and racist.
How? Paying them less is the actual racist thing since it's basically saying they are worth less, in short libshits are literally in favor of slave labor. Talk about double standards batman.
Isaiah Lopez
That's a good think
I want stinky curry smell to stay in India and not come here
William Anderson
>Implying third world citizens are smarter than Americans

My company already moved most of our jobs to Singapore last year. Indians prefer to work in a county close to India that's 1st world and speaks English.
Brody Perez
Read all the posts in this thread about companies just hiring low cost labor elsewhere. You will not get paid more, your job will move to Mexico and India.
Leftists think blacks are so poor and stupid that they lack the ability to get a voter ID like a drivers license without the white mans help
Nolan Russell
>They deserved to be treated the same American or European counterparts
>They don't want first world paychecks
Men these niggers are hella dumb.
Cameron Rivera
Please explain why paying a fair price for the skill you need and can't find limits skilled programmers. If you literally can't find competent programmers anywhere else but India, why wouldn't you pay them proper wages? Serious question.
Jeremiah Rodriguez
But that's not even close to true. Just the state of Texas has $600m over Mexico in GDP.
Joseph Harris
I missed when H1Bs was just a scam to get away with importing "war criminal" germans to make stupid shit for the MIC.
Camden Phillips
There are competent programmers all over the world, but China and India are pools that we have only recently begun to recruit from. They are paid the same wages as any other employee. It's illegal to underpay an immigrant worker.
Tyler Robinson
It's like there's a global elimination of importing cheap workforce going on. Europe did something similar couple of weeks ago, by forcing countries to pay a local salary for all imported workforce. You can't pay Eastern Euros 2€/h anymore, so there's about zero incentive to hire them.
Thomas Bennett
I actually complain about pajeets writing shitty proprietary bloatware because you tell them to and avoid any and all programming careers so I don't have to contribute to harmful software
Honestly everything we can do to cut down on the number of "professional" programmers is good. The sooner we slow down, or hopefully end modern software the better.
Imagine a web without numales or indians. So little javascript...
Jaxson Phillips
>US government data show very significant shortages of high skill talent around the country. Where are the proofs?
Brayden Watson
Like I said, I work for an engineering firm so no one in my department does much raw programming.
Juan Cooper
It's what the companies say when they've interviewed a couple local people and decide they can cheap out by importing workers.
Logan Kelly
if john white johnson says "i can start tomorrow, and I expect 100k, 3 weeks of paid vacation a year every year minimum, paternal leave, and holidays off", there's a shortage and we need to pay chang 90k
>oh this so much in china! >what christmas? no matter. >i get one week off my first year? as say in america, niiiiiiiiiiice.
Evan Rogers
There is no shortage, companies just want to jew everyone and pay peanuts
Anthony Garcia
Nice. I'm a leftist and I approve of this. If visas are going to be used to undercut wages, then make them more expensive.
I also think H-1B holders should be able to move to another company, no questions asked. If companies want to use pajeets as indentured servants, it means they'll have to pay them competitive wages or risk having them bail for greener pastures. Since companies use H-1Bs to avoid doing exactly that, there'd be a further drop in visa applications.
Jason Wood
you mean john johnson is a hideous nerd that never looks you in the eyes and only picked up STEM because he was bullied in every other class, didn't get enough excuses to stay inside all day, and couldn't handle any industry with excessive social interaction or physical lifting, and chang/pajeet are personable normal people who picked up STEM so they could have better job prospects
Adam Edwards
Good riddance, street shitter.
Jeremiah Young
Basically what user above me said. When a business says "Shortage" what they really mean is >God dammit, there are only 25 applicants for every open position. What they want is a massive pool of people in the market, so they can pay the lowest salaries and so they can always fire you at the drop of a hat or avoid hiring you. When there's 1500 applicants for every position, that's when there's no shortage.
Aiden Reyes

>recruiter for an engineering company Are you an engineer yourself? Regardless, what type of firm do you work for?
>not enough homegrown talent in STEM Hm, that went real broad real quick. It's funny, too, since we're graduating more engineers in more disciplines than ever.
The lack of hiring US grown talent has more to do with the ridiculous burden of entry into the field, wherein you're expected to have not only your license/certs but experience on top of that and about a dozen secondary skills and you must be willing to work for a pittance. It's almost like firms want to hire Pajeet and Ping Pang due to cost saving measures, despite the cost to fix their incompetency at every level. Just like the medical field, where we import Indian, Cuban, and African doctors that barely comply with our standards and then make mistake after mistake after mistake and cost us more in the long run.
All because you cocksuckers wanted to save in the short term and don't care about quality of work. Every single time.
t. someone that has to fix your clueless pie in the sky HR profit dreams on top of redoing all of Pajeet's work, fixing the dozens of mistakes/intentional omissions of Chang's half assed proposals, and helping to train the handful of US kids that bid way under everyone else for a reason.
Jayden Barnes
There's no talent because the current generation was never given training in the workplace. Schools DO NOT TEACH current standards and practices, the only place to learn it is in the workplace. Btw
>recruiter I hope you know most of us domestic devs think you guys are rats.
Carter Sullivan
lol, and who is gonna buy the curry software if Americans have no jobs and money? The pajeets themself?
Jaxson Allen
HR fag status = rekt
Chase Cox
Daily reminder that if you fear pajeet will take your job then you were worthless anyway.
Jose Campbell
Why do you think white people are so pissed off? Black people are literally licking boots for slave wages. They're too pussy to flex muscle.
Why do you think Europe conquered them?
Angel Brooks
The ones that can compete, don't have any need to work for American companies. If they have actual skills, they can make plenty in India and not pretend to know English.
Tyler Hernandez
>They are paid the same wages as any other employee. It's illegal to underpay an immigrant worker. Nice joke.

There is no shortage. The companies just don't want to pay real wages.
