Install GNU/Linux

find a cure for autism

but what class is it?

There's a thread for this.

this

you mean the hate thread?

What? No, there's a rice thread up.

nothing on this in that thread

i wonder why it goes away in fullscreen and with Title Bar checked out but no option to remove it in default view - kinda retarded, why the hell would i need that square to the left

My window buttons are in that space on mate and gnome, maybe you're just retarded.

>using linux
>calling me retarded

this

Get a mac

What theme/distro/wm are you using to achieve this?

find your profile folder by hitting the "open menu" button at the top right -> hit "Help" -> hit "Troubleshooting Information" -> the sixth entry in the form is "Profile Folder" hit "open folder"

then make a folder named "chrome" in that directory, no caps, open that folder and make a file "openChrome.css", in that file put this:

@namespace url("mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul");

#TabsToolbar .tabbrowser-tab[selected] .tab-line {
display: none !important;
}
#TabsToolbar .tab-background {
background: opaque !important;
border-right: 0px !important;
border-left: 0px !important;
}
.titlebar-placeholder[type="pre-tabs"], .titlebar-placeholder[type="post-tabs"] {
display:none !important;
}

Adapta/ubuntu/Budgie

Not the same user but I know you can do that in KDE and Xfce at least

use good browser

to be fair this also includes a fix to get rid of the blue bar indicating the current tab, get rid of the first #TabsToolbar entry if you want to save that (it's shit, dont)

thank you!

This isn't working on my machine.

>..and the saga continues ..
how do i remove this 1px line?

Upgrade to Windows 10

>sjwfox furries need to tinker with condors and command lines to get a browser working

Ahaahahahahaha the cycle never ends

Works fine on Arch

*consoles oops

that tab density though
that about:config though

Maybe maximize the window?

I think you should add 1px in the tab instead of removing.
It's called customization, but i think you never read about it.

Putting it in userChrome.css loaded the fix right away though. Weird.

I'd prefer the stability and security of windows, thanks.

>stability and security of windows
HAH
HAHAHA
Oh wow!

here's your (You)

stable on my machine

Thanks dudes.

yep, ended up going that way
[CODE]
#TabsToolbar .tabbrowser-tab[selected] .tab-line {display: none !important;}
.titlebar-placeholder[type="post-tabs"] {display:none !important;}
.titlebar-placeholder[type="pre-tabs"] {border-inline-end: 1px solid black !important;width: 1px !important;}
#pageActionButton {display: none !important;}
[/CODE]
looks much cleaner now

I should mention that I'm using the 64bit build. That might be the reason.

Top kek

I don't have this problem.

This isn't working on my machine, but, thanks!

This is the way every Sup Forumsentoomen's browser should look like.

>how do i fix this?
by committing sudoku

gnome adapta but meh default gnome is best

BLACKED

Firefox seems to think my screen isn't big enough to make Youtube pages wide. It doesn't happen if I use Chromium or if I move my panels (I use/have used MATE, Cinnamon, maybe more) to the left or right of the screen, only if it's above or below, so I'm not even sure if it's a Firefox problem. Any ideas?

so you prefer worse things vs better things?

>update your browser

what's your OS?
what version of the browser are you using?

Alright, it seems to happen when it reaches a certain size. It's not a problem with Chromium though, weird. Does anyone know how to change this?

>border-inline-end
What the fuck

i like that little box. i can drag the window around with it
watching you faggots' tits explode over stupid shit is fucking hilarious
it has to be fucking actual unironic autism that makes you menstruate so hard over ff57

There's a dedicated space for that over here.
There doesn't need to be another space, especially one so horrendous.

>that seizure-causing starry background
sure my man. whatever you say my buddypal

and when that space is filled with tabs?
what will you do then?

It's not. It's a dedicated space.

...

Don't have it

theres a tick box for it on the customize tab

That just adds a thin bar at the top of the window.

It won't let you fill that space with tabs unless you modify the css to make it possible.

you should add a transparent line instead of solid black maybe so it works better in aero windows.
if you drag around tabs you will see a black line at that part.

better question is how do we fix the fucking ugly color scheme and the shit icon that uses solid black boxes instead of transparency on the desktop

What

that menu button was one of the most ugly changes to firefox.

...

What in the shit did Mozilla FireCucks mean by this?

>title bar is windows theme blue
>active tabs are navy blue/black
>icons on the desktop for files associated with FF are dark blue almost black
looks like a Halloween theme had an abortion.
no excuse in the icons not having transparency.
the inactive tabs color looks like shit and clashes hard core with the titlebar/windows theme.

pic related, my wangblows vm.

looks like the Sup Forums Halloween theme and the windows 7 theme had a baby.

you like this better?

Your problem is windows or it's default theme then. The icon is transparent on Linux and the titlebar and tabs are identical to what DE you're using. Also
>he didn't remove the empty space next to the home button

You do have a problem were you put your fucking Start Bar, though.

>hasn't removed the search bar
you were close to making it look nice, my somalian friend

Hold on, NoScript 10 will be released within the next 6 (six) hours

>hackademix.net/2017/11/18/the-week-is-not-over-yet/

not him, I prefer to keep a search bar to better switch between search engines and because I like to keep stuff separated
sue me

I just meant the way the tried to delete the normal file edit blah blah bar and consolidate everything into a single button

its like what I showed in the picture on a clean install of wes7 and a separate machine running windows 7 pro.
I tried different themes and nothing fixes the colors.
the icons pictured are webm files, I just confirmed .html shows up the same. the only icon that looks right is the shortcut to firefox.exe

Change icons per file type then.

Anyone else have this black bar appear under the tabs when moving tabs that seems to serve no purpose? Anyone got a fix/script to get rid of it?

yea, sorta annoying having to do that 50 times though.

>50 times
It's literally just html. What else did you default to firefox?

oh I meant on different machines. I have a fuck ton of vms and several computers that will need the icon style changed.
Also, I left webm associated with firefox.

Looks fine in pale moon

>that big ass tab bar

Maximize the window fagget

Alt + Click/Drag
Why does Windows have to be so useless.

My browser doesn't have this problem.

>furfags on my Sup Forums
Please leave.

>lolifox
fucking ped..... that layout. my god what happened to us

There has to be a theme or something that can fix firefoxs shit new layout

It's handy for moving the window around.

The fuck is this shit layout?

Does anyone know how can I open local html files as new tab page in the new version?

>newfag
its firefox 3, its from before they went full retard and only went up a number version when it was serious shit. After that they swtiched to going up a number version ever week. they eventually switched to the button like in , and then eventually settled on the eye cancer we have today.

ff3 looked better if you hid the most visited and getting started bar.
how old are you?

>how old are you
I'm not underage. Just don't remember that Firefox looked like internet explorer. I only started using it around 2007/2008 but I also used Opera at the time. I switched back to Firefox around the time Opera stopped using Presto.

just werks on my macihne.

>file/edit/view/...
Wasted space on useless buttons.

...

restore/unmaximize the window
