You could add Colorado and Hawaii.
I was thinking Colorado, but thought it might be too bumfuck rural. Hawaii sounds right but I fucked up with the template I chose.
maryland is a shithole with not so smart people in it I'd say
NorCal is objectively smarter than SoCal
>hawaii
How come?
Yeah but California in a whole, I wouldn't put them as South-tier dumb but still more or less average America kind of stupid.
Those are also the lamest states
Rad States: Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina, and Kentucky
>California dumber than Alabama
righto mate
But where's the website you got this from that looks a bit swanky to be fair
All of these Mexicans coming into my country and lowering the average IQ, sad!
>California, the home of Silicon Valley
>Less than 100 average IQ
...what?
Is this the result of brain damage from drugs?
Also the obvious north / south divide here is great. Confederates BTFO.
Good map, states you should add: Montana, Colorado, Alaska, South Dakota
shitty states, incoming damage control: Alabama, Missouri, Mississippi, Georgia, North Dakota, Arkansas, Louisana, Oklahoma,
California is a minority-majority state
If you ever go to California you would understand.
The divide between extremely smart, and extremely dumb is real there. If California had more lax laws regarding police reports we would be constantly hearing about California man instead of Florida man.
>OP likes my state
I'll advocate for my state of Iowa to be put on there.
In general the midwest, and New England tend to have higher IQs on average. Usually due to colleges there.
That's odd, I thought Hawaii was full of Japs.
Not when 49% is white European and at least half of the Hispanics are white.
>decent rural states
Look yeah they aren't pants-on-head Mississippi but they're still pretty rural, no?
>Alaska
Everybody outside America only knows Alaska for one person, and she wasn't smart.
Pretty indifferent to Maryland, but these are just the states that could be compared to Western Europe in terms of intelligence.
"All of these Irish coming into my country and lowering the average IQ, sad!"
-- You, 1855
>Not when 49% is white European and at least half of the Hispanics are white.
Beaners can't be white by definition if they're Indians mixed with Moor rape babies.
Any Sanders majority state.
NY
You don't become a financial, cultural, fashion center of the world by being autistic
You can judge a state's intelligence by the quality of their public university system
>University of California
Some absolute geniuses (Berkeley) and some absolute retards (Merced)
>University of Virginia
Very intelligent
>University of Alabama
Not very intelligent
etc
You have to go back.
>Everybody outside America only knows Alaska for one person, and she wasn't smart.
Marian Call?
Yeah except the 19th century nativists were right.
Half your country was Mexican long before whites ever got here.
Your map is correct but wisconsin is dumb and more of northeast should be highlighted
Also Illinois is smart in the chicago area
Pacific islanders set them back
...
You have to come back, weeb.
>I'm voting for Trump!
Sarah "I read all the newspapers" Palin, of course.
I dunno mate, I get the feeling suburban New York is pretty average for America.
Wisconsin is dumb? Maybe so, but I don't want to highlight too much of America.
Why aren't Californians intelligent?
>Wisconsin is dumb
While they don't hold up as well in education, they somehow manage to take some graduates from Iowa and Minnisota universities
>Illinois is smart in the Chicago area
You obviously have never been to south side Chicago. Otherwise you would have seen the flaw in your argument, and likely have ended up in the hospital.
>why Maryland dumm
Although we have DC and all the professionals that brings, and although Baltimore has financial and medical research and industry, we're still stuck with most of Baltimore and some of DC's spillover urban population being reeeeally non-smart.
Mexican Injuns are not the same as our Injuns.
Full of minorities
Memes
So is Texas.
Maryland is full of poor niggers man
Neither is full of Asian immigrants like the pacific northwest.
>south side Chicago
Fair and Balancedâ„¢
Highest median income, suburbs of DC, northeastern, barely ever voted for Republican presidents, etc.
What state are you from?
mexicans move to California whilist Texas, being a former Spanish colony, is full of Criollos (like Chihuahua and Sinaola are)
everything south of durango = walking feces
Are you an Ameriboo or something?
Fuck no, I'm a Germanophile.
Okay from all the information I could pull together about average IQ. I have come up with a list. This is basically just the average between different maps, and studies.
1. Massachusetts
2. Minnesota
3. New Hampshire
4. Connecticut
5. Vermont
6. Iowa
7. New Jersey
8. Wisconsin
9. Kansas
10. South Dakota, Or Virginia. (It got REALLY fuzzy for the 10 spot, but these are the most mentioned.)
North Dakota would probably also qualify, it's full of oil businessmen and carpet baggers now
As a former CA resident I can say there's lots of smart rich people and lots of stupid poor people. There are also a lot of stupid rich kids as well. It's a very divided state
I should also say that Maine, North Dakota, and Montana appeared on there pretty off and on too. There was just a ton of variation in them so I chose to leave them out.
>Jersey
lmao
Live in Oregon, can confirm
Remember: Europe is for white people, Africa is for black people, Asia is for yellow people, and America is for brown people
>1. Massachusetts
Yes.
>2. Minnesota
Yes.
>3. New Hampshire
Yes.
>4. Connecticut
Yes.
>5. Vermont
Yes.
>6. Iowa
Maybe, not too sure. They have the right voting history, although not the best, but I don't know enough about it.
>7. New Jersey
Come on, really? Aren't they just New York suburbs basically?
>8. Wisconsin
I originally thought so, but now I've looked into it and they aren't as Minnesota as I thought.
>9. Kansas
Come on, really?
>10. South Dakota, Or Virginia.
Virginia probably in twenty years, but not for now. I don't know anything about South Dakota.
I'm guessing you're from Portland
>but now I've looked into it and they aren't as Minnesota as I thought.
Please explain more.
Luckily this racist Nazi has no chance of winning.
If you are a racist Nazi, it's not really offensive to be called a racist Nazi
It wasn't part of our country before we cleaned it
Well Minnesota wouldn't be highlighted if it wasn't for the fact they voted Democratic in presidential elections in all of them since 1976. They were also smart enough to vote for an independent governor once.
>Iowa
Consistently in the top 10 no matter what I looked at.
>Wisconsin
They always come out with Iowa as being "Little Minnisota". It's almost as if IQ radiates from Minnisota on all the data tbqh senpai.
>New Jersey
I was a bit surprised as well, but they hold above New York state in almost every one.
>Kansas
Yes, really. This one threw me for a loop too. Although it was a debate whether it should be them, or one of the 10 spots up there.
>Virginia and South Dakota
Virginia does have some good universities, which is why I wasn't too surprised about it. South Dakota also falls into the northern midwest IQ zone it seems.
If I could be frank with you. The Hotbed zones tend to be radiating from Massachusetts, and Minnesota. All surrounding states benefit from it I guess, with a few exceptions existing in other places.
I meant how does Wisconsin differ from Minnesota?
No Central Oregon, but every time I go west or to a large city there's Asians everywhere, still a good amount here though.
>They were also smart enough to elect a WWE wrestler and self-described conspiracy theorist as governor
Interesting requirement for intelligence
You guys are underestimating Virginia. Half the state lives in the rich DC suburbs. We have the county with the longest lifespan, 5 of the 10 richest counties in the whole country (no joke, look it up), the best public high school in the country, and the highest % of residents with graduate level degrees.
They're bastard cheeseheads, that's what
But more seriously, more conservative overall and with much bigger cities. Minnesota is very rural and independent-minded
>NOVAfag thinks he runs the state
You are the cultureless suburban sprawl of DC, the New Jersey of the South
Im a chicano, and I probably have a higher IQ than you. Shithead.
How well would these states know about other countries though (excluding Canada)? For me that's been a major indicator when I went around America.
They almost voted for Bush by less than a percent, and they voted for Reagan both times.
In my opinion someone who questions connections between terrorism and Saudi Arabia and the military contractors and Dick Cheney and that kind of stuff is smarter and more aware about shit than the 70% or whatever it was that supported going into Iraq.
I knew this about northern Virginia, but I wasn't sure how much it was compared to a lot of Virginia which could probably still be considered Southern. How much of the Arlington area is Virginia? If that alone was a state, no doubt it'd be here.
I'm in Bend and I rarely see Asians just on the street. Nowhere near the number that I used to see in southern California
>I probably have a higher IQ than you
Statistically speaking, it's unlikely. You'd have to be in the top 2% of IQ test takers
Same, you occasionally see some, at least there's no black people
You must be very special
I think you're using some arbitrary indicators.
Honestly I think people in these states would. The Common person might not, but that holds true across all of the US. If you go to a university (which I think is the reason for those states having high IQs) you would easily find people who could point out more countries.
Because you're some kind of Stephen Hawking, right?
Frenchanon: "Why aren't Californians intelligent?"
>Full of minorities
Yep, we're deal with a real 130+ IQ over here.
I think using universities can be a bit arbitrary, because I might as well be calling Texas smart, but then again it's a big reason why New England is smart. How many people in those universities are actually from those states though? I'm not even looking for who has the most geniuses though.
>more conservative overall and with much bigger cities. Minnesota is very rural and independent-minded
Interesting. Given that rural areas tend to be more conservative than big cities.
In general the more urban a state or city is, the smarter they are because they have more access to methods of learning. Plus, New England is definitely the smartest area because New England has been around for longer than any other part of the US so it has better infrastructure.
I literally am. An intellect comparable to mine is quite rare, which is what gives it significance
Also don't forget having much of the Ivy League universities.
I don't know mate, I met some people in urban areas who knew absolutely fuck all about Australia, and some of them couldn't quite wrap their heads around the fact that we don't need guns. The 8th most urbanised state is Florida, so I'm taking this with a grain of salt, while Maine and Vermont are the least urban.
Latino and blacks score lower on IQ tests to such a degree that Harvard psychometricians are suggesting it is affecting society and we should change our public policies, particularly those relating to immigration.
politico.com
You would already know about this if you were an elite intellect like myself and Jason Richwine
It's arbitrary because part of American mentality is a shunning of the global view.
Why so many Americans would fail a global geography test is because it isn't relavant to them. The US could be self sufficient if it ever needed to be, and the average American doesn't interact with people on a basis of what country they are from. If an immigrant comes to town they just treat them like another American until they do something that isn't American.
Why would the average American need to know about global politics that hardly effect them?
The only time American learn where a country is on a map is when they do something that effects them. i.e. Iraq, and Afghan wars, Brexit, etc.
Essentially you could find an American who is very intelligent, can hold a good conversation, has a good paying job, and all that.
A person who is intelligent in every way, but just doesn't fucking know or care where a country is on the map.
This is why I suggested universities. They are the places were people with a global view congregate more so than anywhere else in the US.
You defense of ignorance, your misuse of i.e., your numerous typos, and your mindless nationalism all make you seem extremely stupid
That's not an argument.
Op, your obsession with America is weird and pathetic. There is nobody in this country that cares about it as much as you do.
>Jason Richwine
Ah yes, the elite intellect of someone with a website with videos that he was on the esteemed Stefbot Molyneux.
You're pretty much explaining why America is as stupid as it is, and that is especially because they don't have to know anything about anything to get by. They don't have to travel to another country to go on a holiday.
>If an immigrant comes to town they just treat them like another American until they do something that isn't American.
kek, okay mate. I don't know what you're implying anyway.
Nobody is saying they need to know anything, but at least we agree that they don't. This isn't rocket science stuff, this is just very basic stuff that you get when you have a media that isn't constantly lying or hiding information.
Well, you might as well explain what you're trying to say. Why am I obsessed with America?
UW Madison is one of the world's premiere research universities in a lot of areas
>Much bigger cities
Minneapolis is bigger than Milwaukee by this point
try again
>Ah yes, the elite intellect of someone with a website with videos that he was on the esteemed Stefbot Molyneux.
What are you trying to say? Don't just mindlessly reply to everything you see; think before you type. Richwine wrote his Harvard dissertation on IQ and public policy, making him an authority on the subject and far smarter and more informed than you. He is in every sense of the term an elite intellect.
How much Adderall did you take today? You sound like a speed freak. We're actively trying to humor your stupid question about "intelligence" in different U.S. states but you refuse to listen.
>Richwine wrote his Harvard dissertation
Wow, someone wrote a thesis when they were a student at Harvard. Cool stuff.
>Adderall
This is an American thing, buddy.
>We're actively trying to humor your stupid question about "intelligence" in different U.S. states but you refuse to listen.
How so? I've been responding to some people and asking them for more information. I don't think this is as serious as you're making it seem. Anyway, this was a revised map I came up with.
>chicago
>smart
Minnesota is pretty smart around the Minneapolis, Duluth, and Mankato areas. Other than that, it's pretty buttfuck retarded.
t. a resident of rural Minnesota
An American can know Rocket science but not know a damn thing about European History, or where your country even is on a map, and get by. Geography, and history are two of my favorite subjects. But they are fucking useless in almost all professions in the US, and do nothing for an adult American.
Jesus fucking christ I knew it was a bad idea to try and explain America's lack of a global view to someone. They always become a snarky high and mighty little bitch.
I don't think it's so much a matter of geography and history, but more of current events, recent history and how other countries work, at least in the Western world.
What the fucking am I looking at? Deleware has no redeeming qualities at all except for being a tax shelter and having a NASCAR track. Only a special type of white trash live there.
Yes it is. It's a claim about your intelligence and a list of evidence that supports the claim. It doesn't refute the argument you're making because my goal is to insult you, not to challenge your beliefs about the psychology of Americans
Again, you're making yourself look stupid
High median income, noncucked voting record, above average in urbanisation. What do you think makes it not smart?
Trying to group people by state is completely retarded.
It would be better to compare MSAs (mass statistical areas).
Hahah Madison? That's a girl's name.
