Everyone on this board says the swedes are cucks but they're actually the opposite
>punches above its weight in the 17-19th centuries, has a nice little empire >loses much land but doesn't go full ANSCHLUSS WE WUZ KAISERS like germany, eg lets Finland keep Aland Islands >makes the best out of a bad situation in WW2, maintains neutrality, sovereignty and peace while europe burns >supports North Vietnam, doesn't get bullied by america >went from dirt poor in the 19th century to the envy of europe >noble minded, can afford to take in immigrants, crime rate is still extremely low >by far the most relevant of the nordics culturally
what are some other countries that Sup Forums got wrong?
Every Western country is underrated, every Eastern European country is overrated. All countries that full in neither of those brackets are quite underrated. Most of the world is quite livable.

Sweden is one of the best examples of ((((progressivism)))) the western world has, it only makes sense that the alt-right would take every opportunity to vilify it and it's people.
Jace Cook

>went from dirt poor in the 19th century to the envy of europe
This is a big meme, we weren't dirt poor we were just as wealthy as western Europe. We just had a tiny population, look up 19th century GDP graphs
Jacob Sullivan
OP are you memeing here?
Take all the things you just listed and add what Sweden is today and you'll see it.

Sweden is a tragic story because it was arguably the best country in the world, and they threw it all away in the name of political correctness
Isaac Nelson
Sadly for you, it's the other way around.
>went from dirt poor in the 19th century to the envy of Europe
Mainly the result of them being virtually untouched by the German army, being notorious war profiteers and taking up massive external debts.
>loses much land but doesn't go full What's there to take in Sweden?During most of it's existence, it was a frozen pile of nothing.
>by far the most relevant of the Nordics culturally
That's mostly because their private collections and museums are literally teeming with artifacts stolen from the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth during the Deluge.
