Whats are the specs of your dream PC

>CPU
>GPU
>RAM
>water cooling??
>power supply

answer with details plz :)

3770k
2-670ti
16 gigs
open loop with cpu the gpus and the mobo. 360 240 and a 120 rad
750watt

3317U
Intel hd 4000
4 GB
No
45w magsafe 2

Since this is a dream PC, it includes things that don't exist.

I'm going to go with that, but with things that are technically possible today.

>quad socket i7 8700k
>4x 1080Tis with full SLI support from nVidia and games
>512 gigs of top speed DDR4 RAM
>quad 2TB 960 PRO SSDs in RAID 0 with a second set functioning as a mirror
>8x 12TB WD Gold Helium drives, 4 sets of RAID1
>4x Corsair H115i coolers for the CPUs
>Custom case that has 4x mounts for these H115is along with plenty of airflow over the GPUs
>Would need a dual PSU setup for this, huh?
>40 gigabit ethernet connected to a 40 gigabit switch
>Mega NAS/Home Server with 40 Gigabit Ethernet and PCIE SSD storage cache and petabytes

Enjoy spending a billion dollars in electricity

>quad socket i7 8700k
Did you just picture hell?

...

Since this is my dream build, it includes a solar roof for my house along with a ground level solar farm in my back yard, and three Tesla Powerwall or similar devices.

>Phenom II 965
>680gtx
>8GB DDR3
>No
>Corsair 650W mid-tier series

i7s have never supported multi-CPU setups, that's why xeons exist

Q6600
GTS250
4GB DDR3
No
450~500W

clockless cpu
clockless gpu
an ssd, a hdd
some ram
5megabytehertz internet
and a fucking monstrosity of heatsinks

Xeons don't do 5Ghz which is why I went with things that dont exist.

1800x oc to 6ghz, 1080ti sli

>CPU
Ryzen 7 1700X because fuck it why not?
>GPU
GTX 1070 (a GTX 980 Ti or Titan XM would be fine too.)
>RAM
32 GIGS of DDR4 3200 would be neat to have, because overkill is fun.
>Water cooling
Probably if I really plan on OCing to hell and back.
>Power supply
At most 800 watt but I doubt any of those parts even OC'd would even come close to that but muh headroom.

Core 2 extreme

Y

Xeon E5472
Gigabyte GTX 960
4x2GB DDR3 from Adata
no
Chieftek forgot the model, but 560W

meh, a average specs computer would be more than enough for me. As long it can do whatever I wanted it to do.

y ddr2?

>CPU
dual socket IBM Power9 LaGrange SMT4 chips on the Raptor Engineering Talos II board
>GPU
Vega support is supposed to be streamlined by kernel version 4.15 so It's safe to assume Vega 64 as of right now but I'd totally go for the workstation variant of these cards for added reliability
>RAM
board supports to 2T, 1T is a safe bet
>water cooling??
no
>power supply
by default it has redundant 1,4kW power supplies, other than noise and consumption I see no reaon to change it

I'm simple man:

HP Z6 workstation, dual cpu, dual gpu, dual ssd, 37" HP monitor

For a PC you can build right now I would do this
>CPU
Dual EYPC 7601
>GPU
Might as well get a Titan Xp
>RAM
Atleast 1TB of DDR4 2666Mhz
>Water Cooling
Fuck that EYPC doesn't need it so 2 TR4 noctua coolers will work
>power supply
EVGA SuperNOVA 1600 P2

>Tesla Powerwall
I'm surprised they haven't tried going for the graphene battery technology for that yet. That GraBatt company in Europe is developing it and their initial estimated specifications blows Li-ion batteries out of the water for power density & recharge cycles.

So instead of choosing a faster horse you chose a car with legs.

A 4k OLED 120hz monitor that actually works.

Li-ion is still king when it comes to factories that can actually produce it.
It is going to be a long road to move away from lithium based batteries just because we have so much infrastructure around making lithium batteries, that to this day is only getting bigger.

>2 x power9 CPUs
>3 x tesla and a.quadro
>128 at least
>if needed
>whatever the requirements are
I ain't messing with no gamer shit. Time for workstations to make a comeback .

6 ghz r5 1600

16 gb of ddr4 4266 mhz

4 x1080 ti with complete SLI support

Yes, custom loop

1200w from seasonic

>best everything
wow i did it

My Dream PC:
CPU: a gram of singled out atoms (doesnt really matter which ones) that form a qubit array near a micro blackhole(s). That way I can control the clockspeed by changing how close I put the atoms near the micro black hole(s).

GPU:
Dont need one, my CPU will do anything for me.

RAM:
a wohle universe in each black hole that acts as an encryption for the data stored in it.

Water cooling:
no need. The Heat generated will just feed into the black holes to be stored in RAM for cases of system shutdown. I may need some exotic matter tho. to keep everything stable tho.

Power supply:
10 Fusion reactors just for the entropy change when calculating stuff. Maybe a sun or two for to keep everything stable.
