Cancer thread, end your life

previous thread
this is an original language for shitposters on Sup Forums
this is NOT a dialect/mutation of english or any other language
it is estimated that the amount of users of this language will start at 3-33 and slowly grow from there
we do not have a name for this yet
we do not have a way to write this language yet
the letters used to describe the sounds in this post are TEMPORARY so don't complain

what we have so far

in languages words are made up of syllables
the syllables of this languages will take the form of CV, VC, or CVC
C is a consonant group and V is a vowel group
a consonant group can have one or who consonant
a vowel group can have one or more vowels

we so not have a complete list of all consonant groups or vowel groups

so far what we have for V is
a, e, i, o, u pronounced like the spanish/japanese vowels
A pronounced like a in english father or retard
E pronounced like the deep vowel in English third
I pronounced like i in english hit or dig
O pronounced like u in english fun or run
U pronounced like the german ü (if you dont know how to pronounce it look up how to pronounce the german umlaut in google/youtube
ai a+i
ei e+i
another way you can refer to A, E, I, O, U is a, e, i, o, u with an accent
this is an INCOMPLETE list you are invited to give more vowel groups
NO TONES

so far what we have for C is
z, n, f, l, v, b, s, t, k, y, w, h, d, ch, m, p, ng, sh, bl, ts, vr, pronounced like how they would be in english
g pronounced like english gift
j pronounced like english jam
r not sure how it will be pronounced
kh pronounced in throat like bach or loch
th pronounced like th in english thunder or three
dh pronounced like th in engish the or that
this is an INCOMPLETE list you are invited to give more consonant groups

we currently have no rules for what consonant groups are allowed go at the start or the end of a syllable feel free to suggest some

this language will gave a flexible word order

verbs will be made from three consonant bases taken from several languages
verbs will be conjugated by adding vowels that relate to the subject and object
verbs will hold general information about the subject and object when conjugated
specific information will be found in other parts of the sentence

Current progress for verb bases

z - j - n
to be

r - f - l
laugh

v - n - r (comes from Spanish?)
come

to have

h - d - t (Rus)
to walk

d - l - t (Rus)

to partake in autistic activity

the syllables in verbs will be organized as CV CVC
yes there are some repeats this is an INCOMPLETE list
there is still some debate on how verbs will be conjugated
there are two methods being suggested

place vowels with verb consonants
CCC

method #1
a / A = 1st person
e / E = 2nd person
i / I = 3rd person
u / U = formal
o / O = placeholder/infinitive/question

formal can be either 1st, 2nd or 3rd person
who formal refers to will be stated in another part if the sentence

formal can be either 1st, 2nd or 3rd person
who formal refers to will be stated in another part if the sentence

for present tense use the first vowel on and
for future tense change the to the second vowel
for past tense change the to the second vowel
example
b b l talk
bobol - to talk
babol - I/we talk
babel - I/we talk to you
bebal - you talk to me/us
bAbel - I/we talked to you
babEl - I/we will talk to you
specifics like distinctions between singular/plural or he/she will be made in other parts of the sentence if needed

method #2

a - first person
e - second person
i - third person
o - formal second person (probably will only be used sarcastically; could also be used for any person)
u - nonspecific
O - infinitive/placeholder

To mark plurals, lengthen the vowel.
To mark past tense, add -ik to the end of the word (after all other suffixes).
To mark future tense, you MAY add -ok to the end of the word; this is optional in all cases.
bObOl - to talk
babel - I talk (to) you
bebal - You talk (to) me
baabelik - we talked to you
babul - I talk (to no one in particular)
babelok - I will talk to you

currently there is no structure on how to form nouns
feel free to suggest possible nouns

adverbs and adjectives
build them from two consonants and a vowel
adjectives end in ai
adverbs end in ei
stretch the vowel to add more intensity

example

kit (qt)
kitai
cute
kiitai
really cute
kiiitai
really really cute

thik (THICC)
thickai
fat
thiikai
really fat
thiiikai
really really fat

sIk (sanic)
sIkei
fast
sIIkei
really fast
sIIIkei
really really fast

you can nominalize adjectives by adding ne and adverbs by adding na

kitaine
cuteness

sIkeina
fastness/speed

how you can help
help make rules
help make verb bases
help make adjectives and adverbs
help brainstorm nouns
we need some question words
who(subject) -
to who(object) -
with who(indirect object) -
what -
how -
when -
where -
why -
question words should all start with the same C and be short

>or CVC
>V is a vowel
so it's pronounced c/u/c/k ?

I lel'd a little.

Bamp

Just learn Argentinian Spanish you fat nerd

That system is autism and the reason I won't bother with this language
just use pronouns

it makes it easier to condense information

feels underage man

pronouns
i
we(you not included)
we(you included)
you(singular)
you(plural)
they (singular)
they(plural)
he(singular)
he(plural)
she(singular)
she(plural)
it(singular)
it(plural)

I bumped the thread with this , but reading the thread, I have to make it clear that though I'm not interested in learning this, I'm quite impressed.

fixed some of the repeats
w-t-n
to know something

p-n-r
to know/ be familiar with someone/location

d-m-t
to think

h-r-t
to believe

v-d-t
to see

v-d-r
to look

d-l-t
to do/make

t-g-m
to make/create

>long ass text about the pronunciation
>language for shitposting
>posting

That's why I want six vowels instead of ten but lowercase user is very insistent that all languages need to have at least ten vowels just because.

just use finnish

tesat desu

finish = norwegian + enigma
literal meme language, that's supposed to look difficult

What are you talking about? Norwegian is more closely related to Sanskrit than to Finnish.

five should be enough for this

I know that finnish isn't related to any other indo european language.
The whole thing was about Norway bordering finland and finnish looks like: jaakaa tääksee tääpaa

Someone needs to make an SQL for a dictionary.
Looking up words is way more difficult when your verbs look like:
C1 x C2 x C3

k - k - t (japanese)
to hear

k - k - r (japanese)
to listen

n - r - z (japanese)
to sleep

m - sh - t (persian)
to sit

b - st - n (persian)
to close

b - z - n (persian)
to open

h - r - d (persian)
to sell

f - r - t (persian)
to buy

z - l - n (german)
to count

> vocaroo

> more vowels = more possible unique syllables to make
> more possible unique syllables to make = more possible small words to construct
> more possible small words to construct = faster to type and more compact language
> more vowels = faster to type and more compact language

you must be unironically autistic

at least unironically assburgered

Since you use consonants for the construction and the vowels just to fill the gaps, why would you need so many?

It's a serious question haven't read through everything yet

> so far we only have rules for verbs
the idea is that if we have two forms of a vowel we can use the first form to indicate present tense and the second form to indicate past tense in method #1

for adjectives and adverbs each word will be formed from two consonants and a vowel
see having more vowels will give us more possible adverbs and adjectives to create

I feel as if we can write full-fleshed literature out of this language.

> be year 2054
> feminazis gain control of the world
> resistance forces use this language to communicate

With 28 consonants (or consonant combinations) and 6 vowels you'd get 4704 possible constellations for adjectives.
With 10 vowels 7840. It's up to you how complicated a meme language should get
But the main point I actually wanted to make, is that pronunciation is the last thing you should care about, since no one wants to use it outside of its written form

Inspiring post.

>language for shitposting
No one will use this because it's not meme enough and not simple enough

It doesn't have to be a language for the mentally deficient, man.

does this work
who(subject) - chok
to who(object) - chek
with who(indirect object) - chef
what - chot
how - chak
when - chit
where - chis
why - chap

What the fuck do you think Sup Forums is?
A site where the worlds most intelligent minds come to to discuss politics and philosophy?
No, this is a site where edgy kids who think they're smart say stupid shit about shit they don't know shit about
If you want a language for shitposting it has to be meme tier to the max and simple as fuck
You idiots didn't take your target demographic, shitposters, into account
How is this gonna appeal to a single one of them? It's not
You did nothing to make the language appeal to shitposters, you're just making a language to make a language

zh-b-sh (Polish)
to be honest
>from: "żbsz" (desu)

p-b-j (Japanese)
to fuck
>from: "prease be gentre"

(zh would be pronounced like j in French Jean)

> this is an original language for shitposters on Sup Forums
> this is NOT a dialect/mutation of english or any other language
> it is estimated that the amount of users of this language will start at 3-33 and slowly grow from there

the goal isnt to create a meme language for americans on the internet to use
the goal is to create an international shitposting language

>A site where the worlds most intelligent minds come to to discuss politics and philosophy?
This language could be a tool to make us so
Think about threads only for people who actually took the effort to learn this utter nonsense

>the goal is to create an international shitposting language
Esperanto and Toki Pona already exist.

you know, we should come up with a name

Yeah, that's why my proposal is Spanish vowels + schwa, with long versions of the Spanish vowels. That makes verb conjugation very straightforward and allows a lot of leeway to get "close enough" when speaking, but also gives 11 total phonemic vowels for constructing other parts of speech.

Not when you need fucking diacritics.
11 vowels is definitely enough and deriving them from lengthening makes them easier to learn and memorize.

Sup Forumsish

Since what we have so far is just a bunch of consonants why not give some Czech word for a name?

k-r-k (Czech)
to speak; the name of our language

> Not when you need fucking diacritics
> the letters used to describe the sounds in this post are TEMPORARY so don't complain
currently the secondary vowels can be written as either capital letters OR diacritics
if you're too retarted to use diacritics then you can capitalize the vowel instead

> easier to learn and memorize
9 or the 10 vowels are already found in english
you only need to learn ü

we already have a word for speak
the three consonant bases only count for verbs the name of the language doesnt need to follow the pattern

Making capitalization phonemic is retarded.
Having vowels that are too similar to each other is retarded.
Spanish/Japanese vowels are simpler for everyone to work with, easier to represent, and almost impossible to confuse with each other.

But we aren't going to convince each other. It's really up to everyone else whether we should use a simple six-vowel system or a complicated ten-vowel system.

>learn ü

>we already have a word for speak
Sorry, I fucked up using ctrl+f.

>the three consonant bases only count for verbs the name of the language doesnt need to follow the pattern
Doesn't mean the name of the language cannot be a verb.
>I speak krk
>kark*

>Can you speak krk?
>kerakok?

>We talked to eack other in krk
>kaaraakik

*I think we could omit vowels instead using placeholders wherever possible (if that doesn't create clusters of more than 2-3 consonants or leaves a word devoid of syllables.

> Making capitalization phonemic is retarded
> the letters used to describe the sounds in this post are TEMPORARY so don't complain
currently the secondary vowels can be written as either capital letters OR diacritics
if you don't want to use capitalization then use diacritics instead

learning an extra vowel is not that hard
atleast we dont have tones

>kaaraakik
Ok this level of autism really comes close to finnish I admit

Diacritics and phonemic capitalization are both bad. That's why I'm trying to avoid both.

>learning an extra vowel is not that hard
But it's completely unnecessary, as is having vowels that are similar to each other and would make it hard to understand non-native English speakers on Vocaroo.

>atleast we dont have tones
"This bad feature isn't as bad as another bad feature we don't have" is not an argument in favor of your bad feature.

I just used the rules that have already been made up. :DD
k-r-k = the language; to speak the language
kaaraak = we speak the language to us
+-ik = past tense
I used the 2nd method cause I like it more.

I like this. We should just make the name "Kaaraak."
Kaaraak would translate to "We speak Kaaraak to ourselves." It's a recursive definition.

keyes

keyes ee (keyes yourself)

link me that ee thing pls lel
I thought k - y - s -> keyes
"you commit suicide to yourself" would be enough

Here's the vowel system I proposed last night:
a,e,i,o,u - like Spanish, Japanese, or Esperanto
It literally doesn't matter which language you use for reference or even if you get one exactly right. Just be "close enough" and you will be understood, because these five vowels are very distinct from each other.

y - a schwa, the most common vowel in English, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schwa

The first five can all be lengthened by writing the vowel again, giving a total of 11 distinct vowels. You can also OPTIONALLY mark lengthening by any diacritic at all, which allows people to emphasize whatever meaning a lengthened vowel has by adding more letters and sticking random diacritics over them. This is good for shitposting.

>link me that ee thing pls lel
I just made this up.

>"you commit suicide to yourself" would be enough
>being this newfag

rude

But that isn't even the goal of the language

> this is an original language for shitposters on Sup Forums
Yeah, I know
> this is NOT a dialect/mutation of english or any other language
Never said it should be otherwise
> it is estimated that the amount of users of this language will start at 3-33 and slowly grow from there
What the fuck does this even mean?

The point I made that you dipshits didn't understand is that your language for shitposting is in reality a language for jack shit because you didn't construct the language for shitposting. You're just playing with ideas you like, not designing the language for the purpose you actually want to use it for.
Because you did not design the language for shitposting your target audience (shitposters) aren't interested.
This project is already a failure due to the failure to successfully design a language that's marketable to your target audience.
Your language has no qualities that make it marketable to anybody, and especially shitposters.

ᛋᚢᛟᛗᚨᛚᚨᛁᛋᛖᛏ᛫ᛈᛖᚱᚲᛖᛚᛖ᛫ᚡᛁᛏᛏᚢ᛫ᚱᚢᛜᚲᚲᚨᚱᛁ

name 3 languages besides english that are used on this board that do not use diacritics

if you dont understand go look through the prevous threads

Finnish
Eesti
Japanese

I've always got shitposting in mind.
For example the gender/animacy prefixes someone suggested last night that I incorporated into a noun proposal have little use apart from condensing shitposts about trannies, feminine dicks, and which races are human.

That's also why I'm pushing for a very simple vowel system.

updated sounds
we so not have a complete list of all consonant groups or vowel groups

so far what we have for V is
a, e, i, o, u pronounced like the spanish/japanese vowels
ä/á/ā/â/A pronounced like a in english father or retard
ë/é/ē/ê/E pronounced like the deep vowel in English third
ï/í/ī/î/I pronounced like i in english hit or dig
ö/ó/ō/ô/O pronounced like u in english fun or run
ü/ú/ū/û/U pronounced like the german ü (if you dont know how to pronounce it look up how to pronounce the german umlaut in google/youtube
ai a+i
ei e+i
some vowel sounds can be represented by more that one character
this is an INCOMPLETE list you are invited to give more vowel groups
NO TONES

so far what we have for C is
z, n, f, l, v, b, s, t, k, y, w, h, d, ch, m, p, ng, sh, bl, ts, vr, pronounced like how they would be in english
g pronounced like english gift
j pronounced like english jam
r not sure how it will be pronounced
kh pronounced in throat like bach or loch
th pronounced like th in english thunder or three
dh pronounced like th in engish the or that
zh would be pronounced like j in French Jean
this is an INCOMPLETE list you are invited to give more consonant groups

the letters used to describe the sounds in this post are TEMPORARY so don't complain

since noone else seems to make progress lets work with what we have
pronouns: should end in a consonant, I'll explain the reasoning behind this later
I = Yam (from russian я)
You = Dek (from accusative pronoun for you in a German dialect (dich in standard German))
He/She/It = On/Sit/Et (on from russian oн, sit from German sie, et mix from german es and english it)
though declaring gender should be optional as mentioned before, you could refer to a penis as "she" for le feminine meme or use it for "persons" such as niggers
We = Nos (from Spanish)
You (plural) = Vir (Russian вы + German ihr)
They = Heb (from Finnish he)
as for verbs
CaCeC = infinite
z - j- n = zajen
r - f - l = rafel
v - n - r = vaner
and so on
CeCeC = present tense/present progressive (fuck those shitty conjugations)
zajen = zejen
Yam zejen = I am
Dek zejen = You are
Yam refel = I laugh/am laughing
Dek refel = You laugh/are laughing
Etc.
CoCeC = past tense/perfect tenses/etc.
Yam zojen = I was/I had/have been
Dek zojen = You were/had/have been
Yam bobel = I spoke/had/have spoken
Could be optional, present tense + time would work too
and last but not least the future tense
Cucec = future tense
This one can be optional too, either by using present tense + time or using gehen (to come) + infinitive
Yam bubel = I will speak/will have spoken
or
Yam gehen babel (lit. I go to speak) = I will speak/have spoken
now a short break here

>pronouns:
I'd rather use one of the methods already described in OP's pastebin. They're very nice and drive the language a little away from being a word-by-word translation from English.

Well I tried
Have fun with your overly complex language nobody will want to learn guys, see you next month when you try to make another one

There's no reason we can't have pronouns, though. In fact I like the ones he proposed.
They just won't be necessary all the time.

>overly complex
Different doesn't mean complex.
Also, being different is what makes it interesting.

how about
I = yam
you = dek
it = sit
he = osit
she = asit
we(not with you) = nos
we(with you) = nes
you (plural) = vir
it (plural) = heb
them (masculine) = oheb
them (femenine) = aheb

what do you guys think of these question words

But we do have pronouns sempai.
>method #1
>a / A = 1st person
>e / E = 2nd person
>i / I = 3rd person
>u / U = formal
>o / O = placeholder/infinitive/question

>method #2
>a - first person
>e - second person
>i - third person
>o - formal second person (probably will only be used sarcastically; could also be used for any person)
>u - nonspecific
>O - infinitive/placeholder

we can use the pastebin method and then add pronouns if more information is needed

updated pastbin method
method #1
a / ä = 1st person
e / ë = 2nd person
i / ï = 3rd person
u / ü = formal
o / ö = placeholder/infinitive/question

formal can be either 1st, 2nd or 3rd person
who formal refers to will be stated in another part if the sentence

place vowels with verb consonants
CCC

for present tense use the first vowel on and
for future tense change the to the second vowel
for past tense change the to the second vowel
example
b b l talk
bobol - to talk
babol - I/we talk
babel - I/we talk to you
bebal - you talk to me/us
bäbel - I/we talked to you
babël - I/we will talk to you
specifics like distinctions between singular/plural or he/she will be made in other parts of the sentence if needed

method #2
a - first person
e - second person
i - third person
o - formal second person (probably will only be used sarcastically; could also be used for any person)
u - nonspecific
ö - infinitive/placeholder

To mark plurals, lengthen the vowel.
To mark past tense, add -ik to the end of the word (after all other suffixes).
To mark future tense, you MAY add -ok to the end of the word; this is optional in all cases.
böböl - to talk
babel - I talk (to) you
bebal - You talk (to) me
baabelik - we talked to you
babul - I talk (to no one in particular)
babelok - I will talk to you

pronouns can be optional if more information is needed

we should have a system like japanese where the information comes from the context of the sentance

that was the original thought behind my system
you can write caveman-tier shit and let nigs decipher it or add some information, it could be useful for shitposting

I'd like to introduce subject marker, to.

>I want to speak Kaaraak
Kark to htot.

>he went out to work
Rebot to gotf.

>i think of committing suicide
Kayes to domt.

>I have to ask you about something
Vareg to khrug. (not sure if I understood the "nonspecific person" correct in here)

>It makes you think
tigem to domt.

One new verb:

g-t-f (English)
to go out

The information about the person is already provided by the vowels methods though. I fail to see where we would need to reduplicate the pronouns as separate words. Provide example of a usage.

>we do not have a name for this yet
How about 4Tran?

It was invented by our mythical figure Dr. Tran.

youtube.com/watch?v=FO0kRE5OTZI&list=PLA33989B65116A425

>subject marker
>confirms the "all poles are japanophil" meme

i think it might be better if the subject marker goes before the subject

>A site where the worlds most intelligent minds come to to discuss politics and philosophy?
They do on ....

That would be a topic marker, dumkopf.

this
Let's not confuse people with postpositions.

But Esperanto isn't a meme and the Russians have stopped using Toki Pona.

Cockney is banana peel

Isn't that all the same? Anyway, flexible word order is shit.
It will end up in a big mess like Latin

we could use the inverse of the question words as marker
ko - animate subject
ke - animate direct object
fe - animate indirect object
to - inanimate subject
ta - inanimate direct object
fa - inanimate indirect object
ti - time
si - place

Flexible word order is especially shit when you have a subject marker like the mentioned "to"

Okay here's my proposal on nouns again
All nouns end in -e and do not inflect.
Add -ne to the end of a verb infinitive or an adjective to nominalize it.

You can add a prefix to a noun to indicate its gender or animacy
le - masculine
la - feminine
li - inanimate
lo - animate

nigre = black person
linigre = nigger
dike = penis
ladike = "feminine penis"

Topic and subject are different.
In the Japanese sentence "Watashi wa tabemono ga suki," watashi is the topic and tabemono is the subject.
The difference is pretty confusing though and even native speakers don't fully understand it.

It's different from Japanese.

Tried it on all of my examples. It fucks up the nice feel of rhythm they had. I don't know what it would be like with more complex sentences though.
It also creates awful consonant cluster when combined with my idea of omitting vowels.

Yeah, now that I googled both I think it's more of a topic marker than subject marker but it's still not an accurate term for it. I'm not a linguist. Just made shit up.

using
#1
> zajon ko yam
> tasot
> tagim ta language ko nes

Compounds should be formed by mashing the triconsonantal roots together.

Example:

b-b-l + r-f-l = b-r-b-f-l-l
