I don't do anything illegal and don't let people plug in random USB payloads that exploit ME.
nothing wrong with botnets
Good luck with no motherboard OP.

Findings so far
x86:
For desktops, there's lots of C2Ds and atoms listed, but also some very nice opterons and apparently an iMac

For Laptops, you have the CD and C2D memepads

Purism doesn't do libreboot, but their roadmap includes this as a future goal.

The last AMD chip that came without the PSP is Piledriver.
VIA and Zhaoxin Semiconductor apparently also make x86 processors.
ARM:
Obviously there's a shit ton of SBCs (Olimex, Beagle, etc).
For a laptop option with an open firmware, try ARM Chromebooks.
I'm dead serious. Open it up, remove the write protection, reflash coreboot with different payload (Not seaBIOS or Depthcharge), install loonix of choice.

Inforce has an SBC with high-specs and an open GPU
inforcecomputing.com
Cavium makes some god-tier processors. Be on the lookout for that.
cavium.com
In general, your biggest concern with ARM is the GPU drivers.
Mali is fucked. PowerVR too. Vivante GC and Qualcomm Ardreno are fine. Broadcom VideoCore is partial.
en.wikipedia.org
Some anons have reported that lighter environments like XFCE are usable on stuff like Mali without the driver, but it's not ideal.
One user said he couldn't remove the ChromeOS on his libreboot C201. This github issue talks about a solution.

OpenPOWER:
Raptor Engineering sells POWER9 workstations, that may soon be getting RYF certification.
They're expensive as fuck, but probably the most powerful non-botnet computers that exist. Comparable to Xeons/Epyc.

PowerPC:
The company that still makes this is NXP
nxp.com
Here is a project for a Libre PowerPC laptop using NXP, shooting for RYF certification.
powerpc-notebook.org
EmbeddedPlanet has several PowerPC SBCs, most using NXP.

MIPS:
The /csg/ of desktops. Lemote is a chink company that sells libre MIPS boards, using PMON firmware.
lemote.com
A German user on this board says he is going to work with Lemote to resell their stuff.
EmbeddedPlanet also has MIPS boards with processors from Cavium with U-boot firmware.

RISC-V:
Only SBCs here. SiFive has some.

There's also LowRISC

Ordered Librem 5.
Just think how much easier botnet removal would be if we didn't have to contend with high system requirements.
>tfw you have a basement full of XT thru P4 PCs, SPARCs, and Alphas that would be perfectly useable if it wasn't for modern javascript and embedded videos
can it run crysis?
>ARM
Isn't TrustZone an issue? I never bothered looking into it because of the GPU drivers.
Which one of these is Ok for discord and.steam?
Modern tastes in general make them artificially useless. They're still as good at what they do as they ever were, but what they do just isn't worth much these days.
AFAIK, steam and discord are only made for x86, so the best you'll get is the D-16 Opteron board.
I know you're memeing but yes, if you use QEMU x86 with PCI passthrough.
> proprietary software
I think you've missed the point of this thread
>wants to remove the hardware botnet
>still uses the software botnet
does not compute
Poszedł w chuj.
QEMU usermode can run x86 Linux binaries on other architectures.
Nice!
Makes me think about RMS, and how he does everything with plaintext.
I use firewalled vms that regularly get purged
fx8350e
Any opinion on Tails/Whonix/Qubes?
qubes is that one os that runs all programs in a vm right?
never used it. Ive just been using dozens of vms for different shit for years and whenever I fuck up I just delete all my vms, delete any executable, and reinstall my os.
Hahahahahahahaha How The Fuck Are Botnets Real Hahahaha Nigga Just Unplug The Ethernet Like Power Off Your Modem Haha
>tfw bulding a librebooted core2quad desktop to replace my gaymen botnet machinne
>he doesn't realise "botnet" is a humorous hyperbole on Sup Forums
You giving up gaming?
Does the AMD zacate family have psp? Thinking about buying and x131e with the E2-1800
reminder that firefox invested in a german data mining company and collected german users data without their permission.
