It's a fucking housefire

Let the jealousy flow through you.

I can't afford the beefier copper wiring I'd need to run through my walls to safely power it.

>he didn't buy a glorb
>turbo glorp to 60 glorps from the glorp factory
>easily glorped to 70 glorps
>lightning fast single glorp and quad glorp glorps
>obliterates every glorp

What's your glorp?

they out of stock and motherboard options are scarce in my shithole country.
I'll keep waiting a couple of weeks.

But my i7 2600k goes to 5ghz and obliterates every game.

And it was $279 like 6 fucking years ago lmao Intel btfo by their own CPU because it has solder

Trash TIM that you have to replace

Order from amazon, where i got mine.

>quad core speeds
It's a 6-core user.

Having that said, nothing beats the 1800X for $320

i bought an 8400 :3

I’m not fooled by higher numbers

you mean the same amount of power needed to run an amd 8 core?

320?
wasnt it 500 at release?

I got the 1700X at $250 and I'll OC it to 3.8GHz when it arrives. That beats the 1800X.

>Having that said, nothing beats the 1800X for $320

The performance of the 8700k does, don't forget this chip is a OC god that cuts through butter like a hot knife.

It is fast as fuck, not an intel shill buy i've got one and tested it against my other chips.

i'm not a gayman faggot

...

>muh 5ghz

Welcome to 2011, my 2500k does that on air. It also cost 200 bucks and wont set my house on fire.

This proves nothing, the only reason the 1800x scored higher is because of the more cores / threads. It's still not a faster chip unless you are rendering.

8700k demolishes it in everything else.

Im not indian.

The 8700K is fine, but the 1800X beats still beats it on multithreaded performance and it's $50 cheaper.

Black Friday

>6c/12t for $380 that performs just about identically at any decent resolution and clock for clock performs sort of the same

Or

>8c/16t for $250 that you can OC to 3.8-4.0GHz

hmmm, rely makes u think

Nice OC

> t-this proves nothing

>this damage control

>This proves nothing, the only reason the 1800x scored higher is because of the more cores / threads. It's still not a faster chip unless you are rendering.

>more cores at cheaper price with lower temps and lower power consumption with almost identical performance clock for clock

>t-t-this proves n-nothing guise

Lets not forget a professional OC'd that chip

4.7 is the highest we have seen the 1800x go, wheres the 8700k has been seen at 5.3ghz.

change it to "delid dis"

>2 cores

I own a 7700k and I'm planning a Zen2 threadripper2 workstation $10k build in the coming years.

...

>8700k demolishes it in everything else
[citation required]
> inb4 muh games

>m-m-m-m-muh single core

It's a 4c/8t you fucking retard.

> A 5.3GHz core beats a 4.2GHz one
holy shit, who would have thought?

>implying

>having only 2 cores in 2017

yes I am implying that the overclocked 1800x/1700 uses the same 200W(ish) as the 8700k also overclocked

clock speed means nothing when you have more cores, why don't intel fags get it?

>not having 1 6ghz core in 2018

>not having 500 cores 100ghz neural implants in 2077

>300mhz overclock
THAT'S SO IMPRESSIVE

300mhz all core over single core

I don't want to buy the same CPU again.

>6 cores
>Gaymes
How it feels to be corelet (AND threadlet) and brainlet at the same time?
Better yet, don't respond, you might blow the fuse.

>Not having 5 billion cores at 1Hz clock speed

cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i7-8700K-vs-AMD-Ryzen-TR-1900X/3937vsm340638

Fuck off, you're not going to make me switch off VIA

Are people deluded? the 1800x only beats the 8700k in the following;

>Slightly faster multi-core speed at 10%
>More cores / Threads

That's it. Prices are comparable. 8700k is going for 300+ now.

Good goy. Are you (((upgrading))) next year?

>Prices are comparable
>Except one needs a $300 motherboard and the other one is fine on a $80 motherboard
Haha yeah man...

>one needs a 300 mobo

Z370 mobos are cheap as fuck, you dumb nigger.

amazon.com/TUF-Z370-Motherboard-Generation-Processors/dp/B075RJP22C/ref=sr_1_6?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1511491501&sr=1-6&keywords=Z370

They are on par with AMD boards, get BTFO nigger.

It's still almost twice as expensive as a comparable AMD board.

They are most definitely not on par.

>Picks an expensive board
>And not the one i posted that's 130$

AM4 boards that are top quality are at least 120-130$, top quality Z370 boards are the same price.

There is no $130 board, I sorted by price lowest first in on PC part picker.

Here's the same board for AMD.

amazon.com/MSI-X370-Motherboard-SLI-PLUS/dp/B06XNYR69Q/ref=sr_1_4?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1511492007&sr=1-4&keywords=AM4 mobo

I don't feel like deliding it.

Why are you linking 2 different motherboard manufacturers and models?

Why are you constantly shifting the goal post? and why do you have horrible reading comprehension?

>There is no $130 board, I sorted by price lowest first in on PC part picker.
>There is no
>"There is no"
>$130 board
see:

>Shifting the goalposts
I'm not, you are.

>Brings up $130 Intel motherboard
>Claims AMD boards are the same price
>Doesn't link to the same model and brand board with an AMD socket
>Links to AMAZON of all places instead of a proper retail outlet
>Thinks the US is the only country in the world

Have fun being a flaming faggot, I can't be bothered with you anymore if you can't keep your arguments consistent.

>>Brings up $130 Intel motherboard
>>Claims AMD boards are the same price

Post citation on how they are the same. Post citation on the specifications and the options you get on both boards being the same ;)

Muh single core gaymes

It's not available.

Also stutters in games.

youtu.be/11NfsMykyAk?t=269

>>Links to AMAZON of all places instead of a proper retail outlet
>>Thinks the US is the only country in the world
Wait, why would this be an issue?
Each country has their own currency and their worth varies wildly. I could easily say there is no $130 boards for either platform (in NZD) but that would be retarded.

>>Doesn't link to the same model and brand board with an AMD socket

I don't think you even have goal posts.

>what is the Intel ME
enjoy your buggy and exploitable botnet (read: backdoor)

Yeah, and my 8350 could do 1GHz over max single core. Your point?

not if you oc the 1800X to 3.9GHz

>expensive cooler
>expensive motherboard
>expensive CPU

Meanwhile you can get a Ryzen 1700 with a mid-range mobo and overclock it to 3.8-4Ghz with the stock cooler and get the same performance in non-gaming workloads. The only problem is that you won't get 200fps in games but 180 instead.

>2 cores 2 threads
lol?
>4.7 is the highest we have seen the 1800x go
wat

>turbo boost
Enjoy your overpriced heater and electricity bill.

To the people saying Ryzen doesn't need an expensive mobo, an 8 core chip like the 1700 or 1800 need an expensive mobo with good VRMs.
If you try to put an 8 core chip on the cheap motherboards with shit VRM your motherboard will die in a year. Especially if you overclock it.

I know Buildzoid says that but so far have no proof of that.

>only 1614 while needing a fucking 280 AIO with 3000RPM fans at full blast

my Overclucked Ryzen 7 1700 at only 3,7GHz beats your 420 USD hardware backdoored cum cooled shit

that's not true at all. you'd need a good board if you plan on OCing to its absolute limits, but a low end b350 will have absolutely no issues out of the box or even with a mild OC.

I loss interest in performance and OC just at the same time I started being poor.
Now I look for power efficiency and how to live with the less expense possible.
Priorities I guess...

this

i tried overclocking my 8 core ryzen to 3600mhz and while the CPU only reached 59C after 1 hour of prime95, the VRM reached 115C before i put a fan on the heatsink at max speed (really loud) and it got cooled to 105C

fucking hell. stock voltage on B350 board

i bet anyone that says B350 is fine for 4GHz is a Sup Forums-faggot who only plays OverCuck and other faggot games

Because I don't give a shit.
My system is well balanced for my needs, so why the fuck should I spent money on it?

I don't play video games like a nigger.

>he calls it a factory
chiplet detected

You're a fucking retard

Are you fucking kidding me? Old i9 is housefire

>bottlenecks a mid tier gpu in games

Poozen owners are mad as fuck their shit cpu can't even beat Skylake in games.

No, I bought a 1600, X370 motherboard and 16GB 3866MHz DDR4 for less than the cost of the 8700K on its own.

Can it run 4133C15?

I have an OCed 2600k i bought back in 2011. There is still no reason for me to upgrade.

At least we're more productive

>he needs anything better than a e4500

Pretty much this

>He didn't buy a dual EPYC 7601 workstation
>mfw
fuck off

Honestly CPUs in the past three years have felt more like sidegrades than anything else.
Workstation CPUs have gotten a lot better and cheaper, especially with threadripper, but there really isn't much the average user can profit from. Quad-cores have gotten marginally faster, and hexacores haven't even really dropped in prince since 2014...
The only real improvement is Intel finally killing the shitty dual core u-series chips that usurped the i5 and i7 labels.
