Canada
I'm 20 years old and I've never moved out. This fucking sucks but at least I have a fulltime job now, r-right?

Shut the fuck up you retarted slav creature

I'm 28 but I live in one of the richest ZIP codes in the world, so anything else would be a step down. Probably going to move out once I get a higher paying job

>not having almost your entire paycheck be net earnings

But don't you want freedom and privacy?

Bump

19
most liberating day of my life

After high school. 18 or 19 for college and went home for summers. 21 officially I think.

How did you do it senpai

went to school
if you go to school, never, EVER live in the school's residence

off campus housing is cheaper and the best

fuckin what? first year of college I was on residence and it was awesome

My parents wont pay for my shit if I go

Kind of sucks

Never permanently moved out because I've never held a permanent job but moved to a student apartment at 23

no.
houses are too expensive.
rent taxes too.

Gonna be 26 this year and haven't moved out yet. I'm even engaged, we just can't find the money to move out.

19 here.
I moved out 6 months ago with a friend whos ten years older than me, I thought I am old enough to stop being a freeloader.
We've found an affordable 2 story house, he works full time while I go to college and after that, a part time job.
I only have to pay for the internet and my own shit, my friend takes care of the rest, no complications were ever made.

>10 year older "friend"

D-does he have s-sex with you?

When I finish college I hope

23 and haven't moved out. Never had a gf either. I do have a uni degree and have worked every year since 16 though.

23
I lived alone for about 2 years but I moved back home like 2 years ago so I can put some money away while I'm in college

Why don't you move out? Might be easier to get a gf too

There's many reasons I don't have a gf and living with my parents isn't one of them. I get the entire first floor of a 3 story townhouse to myself. I pay no rent, don't pay for food, pay no utilities and don't pay for insurance. I pay my cell phone bill and make payments to my folks on the $18000 car they bought me. They also let me smoke weed in the house because they do as well. Until I find a job where I make like $60000 a year I'd be a fool to move out. I look at where my friends live on their own and other than their "freedom" I have it better.

Then what's wrong, you don't like girls?

>23 years old
>doesn't pay for rent or food

What kind of cuckold parents do you have that dont want you to pay for anything?

What are some reasons you don't have a gf then? Kind of curious because it sounds like you're literally a silverspoon babby living on easymode

England. 24. Haven't moved out.
It's literally impossible to buy anything that wont involve getting stabbed to death when you put the bins out and rent in the area is close to a months wages.

I have bad skin and let it affect my confidence way more than it should. I also have Tourettes, ADHD and OCD. I'm 6'1" at least. But this is starting to get too /r9k/ for my tastes.

>900-1200 a month for a shitty basement apartment.
>300-500 a month for car insurance on your own new diver
>Hydro rates going through the roof and no sign of stopping.

will move out when i get a job...that is far away.

t. 24

What skin condition? If it's just acne then take accutane

>Tourettes
How bad is it? I think there's medication idk tho
>ADHD
you can overcome this without meds, it's mostly in your head
>OCD
Just need to overcome this too, little by little

It's not that bad

>Flag
>16
And started a part-time job at 17 to pay my healthcare.

Everyone's got shit skin mate, that's what creams and make up is for.
>Tourettes
Self diagnosed or have actual medical papers?
>ADHD and OCD
memes
>I'm 6'1"
dunno how tall that is but girls don't give two shits about height

Dude just get some nice clothes, a good haircut, make sure to keep eye contact, don't fiddle with your hands while talking and talk about things you enjoy whatever they are. In a week you gonna find a gf.

Nope, but I get laid thanks to him, the dude is pretty much a ladies man, hes whealthy and has a degree.
Last month, on a weekend, he brought a couple of girls to the place (Shit was so cash).

>If it's just acne then take accutane
t. someone who doesn't have acne. Doctors don't hand that shit out like candy retard. It's an absolute last case scenario that rarely gets prescribed. Either way I also have something called morphea on my stomach and right leg. It's basically just scar tissue but it obviously looks bad.
>OCD
>Just need to overcome this too, little by little
Get the fuck outta here pal.

I'll take the word of my psychiatrist over yours thanks.

I told you guys this shit was getting too /r9k/. Take your generic facebook tier advice and fuck right off.

>t. someone who doesn't have acne.
I probably had worse acne than you did. I speak from experience.
>Doctors don't hand that shit out like candy retard. It's an absolute last case scenario that rarely gets prescribed
It gets prescribed if nothing else helps an it's really bad. If yours is as bad as you say that it prevents you from getting a gf then just ask for it and you'll get it.

We're trying to help you and you just blow us off. Whatever, good luck getting anywhere with that attitude.

>psychiatrist
>tells you have tourettes, ocd and adhd
Sounds like a hack who just wants to hackle some money out of you. If he was actually good you'd have a gf now not a list of imaginary diseases.

And I was diagnosed with ADHD as a kid too, but I ended up not taking the medication because my parents(rightfully) thought it was dangerous to be giving kids amphetamine salts because they're a little antsy in class.

Ended up overcoming it just by structuring myself more and training myself to focus. Internet usage strongly contributes to ADHD-like symptoms because of all the shit. Browsing Sup Forums, videogames and porn make it worse because you can just refresh a page or do a different activity in a game and get flooded with info such that eventually you're going to have trouble doing things that provide long-term gratification and are tedious to do but are most valuable like studying or practicing a new skill

Btw even if your doctor won't prescribe you that shit, you can order it online for pretty cheap.

If your acne really is as bad as you claim then you'll do it, but you're just looking for excuses

>Sounds like a hack who just wants to hackle some money out of you.
He must be a real good bullshitter considering he's head of psychiatry for a region of 200,000 some odd people.

>If yours is as bad as you say that it prevents you from getting a gf
It's mild to moderate. I just can't stop thinking about it and fucking with it because of my OCD. Every god damn day I wake up thinking "oh boy I wonder how many zits I have today." Do that for close to a decade and it will fuck your shit up too.

I no longer take medication for any of the issues I mentioned, only insomnia. The tourettes at this age is little more than facial tics like touching my nose with my upper lip and winking. The ADHD is hard to pinpoint now, I guess for all intents and purposes it's more or less gone away. The OCD however makes me obsess with my skin and constantly be looking in the mirror and fucking with it.

>Do you have a problem!?
>Your medical professional thinks the answer you're looking for is too dangerous!?
>Well then do I have the solution for you!
>Come and buy this liver destroying knock off mexican shit that probably doesn't even have the real ingredients in it!
Holy fuck are you stupid. Accutane on this site is more of a meme at this point than a genuine offer of help.

>He must be a real good bullshitter
Not really, if someone has no confidence about themselves then it's easy to make them believe any old bullshit. And if they keep paying too then there's no reason to make them feel better, lot easier to just tell them that they have a bunch of meme diseases and keep milking them.

I lived on my own for two years in university

now I'm back home because I'm poor

>It's mild to moderate. I just can't stop thinking about it and fucking with it because of my OCD. Every god damn day I wake up thinking "oh boy I wonder how many zits I have today." Do that for close to a decade and it will fuck your shit up too.

Yeah and I've been there... and much much worse.

i used to never leave my house because my acne was so bad, my pillow covers used to be covered in blood because of my turning my face on them while sleeping. I tried every single cream (both prescription and OTC), changing bedsheets, more water, avoiding foods because some retarded woman's health website said so, reading all sorts of idiotic shit and everything I could.

I can remember people pointing out "You need to fix your acne man", I've cried a few times from that after.

Then I took 80mg of accutane for 6 months and I cured my acne completely. Saved my life. If your acne is causing you as much distress as mine then just buy fucking accutane and take it. There's absolutely no reason not to

>Accutane on this site is more of a meme at this point than a genuine offer of help.

How is it a meme when it saves peoples' lives? It saved mine, I probably would have killed myself if I didn't take it. i was strongly considering it some days

pic related is one example(not mine obviously). This drug really is a miracle

>>Your medical professional thinks the answer you're looking for is too dangerous!?

What has your medical professional suggested that has helped you? Whatever it is, it doesn't seem to be working based on your posts.

I don't understand why you refuse any sort of advice and calling it a "meme". You seem like you don't want help, because when you get AN ACTUAL PIECE OF ADVICE from people who have lived through what you have, you just reject it as a "meme".

it's nice to be close to school (my campus was on site) but the people who managed the building were incompetent. the place was also poorly kept, poorly built, freezing in winter, blaring warm in summer with poor ventilation. also you get stuck dealing with "winter graduates" who are just there to blare music while everyone is trying to sleep at 4am or study for exams.

also had drunk neighbours regularly try to break into my campus apartment, and despite there being cameras down the corridors the campus security did nothing until I told them next time I'm calling the police after the drunk fucks dented the door trying to knock it down.

Your problem is you think you're so fucking unique you're the only with any problems

And anyone who tries to give you advice must be "a fucking normie from facebook who's never experienced what i have"

>if you go to school, never, EVER live in the school's residence

It definitely is cheaper off campus, but are you stupid? So many ridiculous things happened in res, and I would 100% do it again if I could.

I live in a first world country where people don't pay directly for doctors so he has no financial incentive to lie to me. Either way it's clear you have no idea what you're talking about so you can stop replying now if you want. You won't be getting anymore responses anyways.

I've been using tactuo for a couple years now and it obviously doesn't work. I have an appointment with a doctor on the 26th for my skin though. She's already told me without even seeing me than I will not be prescribed anything taken orally. I don't have cystic acne and it definitely is not bad enough to be prescribed accutane. When I say it's meme advice it's because that's everyone's first response when they know absolutely nothing about my particular case and they don't seem to understand that no doctor will prescribe something as powerful as accutane. Hopefully things will change once I visit a doctor again but only time will tell.

I don't think I'm unique, I just think you guys are stupid. Particularly that Hungarian faggot.

>I don't think I'm unique, I just think you guys are stupid. Particularly that Hungarian faggot.

>I've been using tactuo for a couple years now and it obviously doesn't work

If it doesn't work within a few months, trash it. It doesn't work period.

>She's already told me without even seeing me than I will not be prescribed anything taken orally

TRASH HER. See a different dermatoligist, get numerous opinions. Stop being lazy, do more research and talk to more doctors. Your doctor is suppose to serve you, not you being their little cuck. If they won't give you what you want then look elsewhere.

>When I say it's meme advice it's because that's everyone's first response when they know absolutely nothing about my particular case and they don't seem to understand that no doctor will prescribe something as powerful as accutane

It's an effective drug. you'll never see your derm again after you take it for acne. That's why they don't want to prescribe it to you. Easier to milk you with 50 appointments and a bunch of bullshit that doesn't work.

What we're trying to say is you need to get over yourself and start looking at solutions instead of excuses.

In the case of your acne, you know perfectly well what you NEED to do in order to fix it. if you take accutane you will without a doubt cure your acne in a few months, but for some reason you're just building up some sort of reasoning for why you don't want to

You guys have rent taxes? Here that is the landlords responsibility. Sure it ultimately gets passed on to the renter but jeez. I heard Brazils tax system is fucked up but I've never heard of taxes on something you do not own.

Healthcare is free here too but nice racism you've got there. Yeah I'm sure he has no interest in keeping his job by having patients, that just sounds crazy.
Well look I don't particularly care what you do with your life but I can tell you this much. If you tell others that you have adhd, ocd, tourretes, or any other vague bullshit then they'll instantly think that "wow what a loser, looking for excuses instead of doing something with his life". If you want to improve then do it by yourself, no conman will help you out.

>I'm 20 years old and I've never moved out
It's not a shame. Most people now have to study a lot and leave the house late.
20 isn't late desu.

I leaving at 22.

BTW you can buy accutane yourself. It's legit...

>>Come and buy this liver destroying knock off mexican shit that probably doesn't even have the real ingredients in it!

Most websites buy it from 3rd world country pharmacies like Turkey or India. It's legit, they have no reason to scam you. Even if it's homemade it's a simple chemical reaction, pic related

18, don't know if college dorm life counts, only came back home during summer and winter break

Malaysia

I went to a boarding school at 13 until 17 years old, coming back home one weekend for each month. Then I entered college and I still come home once every month. Now 25, living fulltime at home while running my online business.

Reality hurts innit.

24, and it just went downhill since...

Fast forward 7 years of living on my own, I haven't had a serious job in years, no gf, no money and I got sick, so my parents are still helping me a lot.

Canada
moved in with my aunt at 20 for school

newfoundland is comfy, dat backyard view

16. Had to cause rural town far from anything.

>See a different dermatoligist, get numerous opinions.
Do you actually live in Canada? You need referrals and shit here. It also takes weeks or months to get an appointment with someone. I've also only visited a dermatologist several times in my entire life so the conspiracy you seem to have regarding stringing me along isn't based in facts. They don't schedule follow up appointments because they don't care that much.

Accutane can have very serious side effects and I'm not taking it without medical supervision.

>It also takes weeks or months to get an appointment with someone.
Wow nice "first world country" you got there. When I went to the dermatologist to remove a mole it took like a day.

>20
I want to move out as soon as possible, but i'm stuck here in the woods..

But there is a serius housing shortage in this awful country, and i don't want to live in the ghetto.

>Accutane can have very serious side effects and I'm not taking it without medical supervision.

Tell your GP you're taking accutane and they'll get you to do blood tests to monitor your liver enzymes.

>Do you actually live in Canada?

Yeah I live in Ontario.

>You need referrals and shit here
Tell your GP you want to see a different derm, they'll give you a referral... You can even read reviews online and tell that which doctor you want to see.

>It also takes weeks or months to get an appointment with someone

Call and ask to be placed on a cancellation list. You'll get in 1-4 weeks instead of months.

>so the conspiracy you seem to have regarding stringing me along isn't based in facts.

Doctors gets paid each time you swipe your health card. So the more and shorter appointments they can get out of you, the better.

It's your responsibility to take your health into your hands. If your doctor isn't being helpful or providing you the medication you need, see a different one.

It honestly feels like you're not even trying, or just don't care. If you actually cared you'd have figured this all out ages ago.

1. Flag.

2. 19

My GP lives an hour away from me because I never bothered to change doctors when I moved to my current city 5 years ago. I'll start looking for new doctors if things don't improve after my upcoming appointment.

>It honestly feels like you're not even trying
Because I haven't been. I'm incredibly lazy and had this crazy attitude that my acne would go away like a normal person because I'm 23 for christ's sake. Obviously I was wrong.

>Doctors gets paid each time you swipe your health card.
I'm aware of that but considering that in my case they prescribed me something and then sent me on my way until I decide to come back suggests they aren't conspiring against me. Either way your opinion of others is very jaded and American. If all they wanted to do was make money they would move to the US. I've had numerous doctors tell me they practiced in the US for a while but came back because the American system doesn't actually try to help people, it only wants to make money.

>Either way your opinion of others is very jaded and American

Well are your doctors helping you?

No, doesn't seem that way. They're failing you. And such is the case with many Canadians. The Canadian healthcare system is failing its citizens tremendously, many citizens simply opt out of even going to the doctor and just hope whatever ailment they have isn't serious and goes away due to wait times and incompetence of many doctors.

>because the American system doesn't actually try to help people, it only wants to make money.

That's funny given how inefficient Canadian healthcare is by EVERY measurable statistic.

That's funny given how an ever-increasing number of Canadian citizens are seeking treatment outside of the country because our own doctors are so shit.

That's funny given how studies show that the wait times in most provinces exceed a reasonable wait time and patients aren't satisfied with this level of "care"

>I've never heard of taxes on something you do not own
No kidding. It's basically a not living with your parents/ not homeless tax.

>Well are your doctors helping you?
My psychiatrist has helped me tremendously throughout my entire life because he genuinely cares and is a good person. I also got my incredibly care skin condition (morphea) diagnosed so that was nice. Other than that I can't say they've done much for me. I did get my wisdom teeth removed for free though which was cool, saved a couple thousand bucks.

>Canadian citizens are seeking treatment outside of the country because our own doctors are so shit.
That's a meme perpetuated by the American health care lobbyists, it isn't actually true. Despite our systems many flaws a majority of Canadians would still rather see it be fixed and improved than done away with.

>That's a meme perpetuated by the American health care lobbyists, it isn't actually true

Is CBC an American health care shill? Is Fraser institute?

cbc.ca/news/canada/windsor/estimated-52-000-canadians-sought-medical-care-outside-canada-fraser-institute-says-1.2997726

>Despite our systems many flaws a majority of Canadians would still rather see it be fixed and improved than done away with.

of course they'd like it fixed, but the fact is that it's very much shit, and studies, patient surveys and the existence of a growing number of companies in the healthcare industries offering the SOLE purpose of connecting Canadian patients with American hospitals/doctors and reducing wait times/cost than if they had negotiated for it themselves is proof of that.

With all the cost memes in the US, at least you can actually see a doctor in a reasonable time frame. Instead of spending months waiting for a diagnostic test or a specialist, or hours in an ER and wondering to yourself "is it even worth it? Maybe whatever i have isn't so bad..."
