How do you clean your optical discs? In the past I've found the plastic material is marred very easily, kind of perplexing.

Microfiber cloth with dish soap

>streaming jew
>flooded hard drives

Always from center to the edge, never along the path.

Some rubbing alcohol and a microfiber cloth.

I don't have a single device capable of reading optical media since 2010.
One external hard drive replaces a full stack of discs. And it's faster.

>it's faster
The quality is usually shit unless you're creating your own files from... optical discs. I only watch one thing at a time anyway so Blu-ray werks great.

It's more convenient to watch from a hard drive even if you have a disc. Unless you aren't planning to rewatch something. Then why bother with cleaning?

>disc
>look at collection and immediately pull out
>hard drive
>content probably torrented
>can't find shit unless autistic enough to rename everything
Plus most media players suck when using a remote. Disc players are much more comfy.

>can't find shit unless autistic enough to rename everything
Or just type a word in the search bar.

or use something like kodi to have your collection neatly display'd 4 u

>just type
I don't want anything with a keyboard near my entertainment center. Simple is best.

>standing up, browsing you collection, finnicking with whatever you use to play discs, and only then sitting down to watch a movie is simpler than search -> double click
Whatever, dude, you clear won't reason.

>getting off my ass once in a while 'cause sitting is the new smoking
>if I don't feel like fucking with it I can move on to something productive
Not a problem. What shit players are you using that makes navigating and searching through files easier?

>How do you clean your optical discs?
You don't need to clean something that was never allowed to get dirty

>How do you heal broken bones?
You don't need to heal something that was never allowed to be broken

Don't get them dirty in the first place. Either use the hole or hold it by the edges.

They make great backups

>2017
>using optical discs

LMAOing @ ur lyfe

>One external hard drive replaces a full stack of discs. And it's faster.
It's also vulnerable to EMP.

americans are gonna need them after the repeal of net neutrality

Yeah, nuclear wars happen real often around here. You do realize you need about 10000 gauss field to affect your hard drive, right?
