does this happen in england as well?

gonna make me some tea right now 2bh
I've never had tea
>american "anglos"
Lipton tea is awful.
...
Lipton tea is good for sweet tea and cold tea. But yeah, in general is pretty shitty
is there any other type of tea?
I've never had it cold, ill give it a shot next time someone accidentally buy's it.
No
>Americas favourite tea
What flavour is that?
100% Natural
good question, nobody drinks it so nobody would know. I've heard it's fruity
It's worse than other brands but it's also cheaper.
It's ok.
>I've heard it's fruity
Earl Grey?
what do you mean?
Your mom is a weirdo.
A lot of brands domestic and imported.
No it's just plain black tea. It's not fruity nor does it taste like citrus.
>be American mom
>buy tea to be fancy
>ignore the customs lying at the heart of black tea drinking fanciness
>microwave tons of fucking liptong
>pour all to a glass bottle like it was some fucking lemonade
>get shot by a British tourist
>forget to tip
>>pour all to a glass bottle like it was some fucking lemonade
we don't have glass bottles here, only plastic ones. I've never actually seen a glass bottle before.
Are you kidding me...?
I have glass cups and plates, but not bottles. Never seen them.
Nobody drinks iced tea here, you can buy it.
It tastes shit though. I bought a bottle of Lipton peach iced tea and it didn't taste like tea at all, was just dark peach flavoured water.
Import some PG Tips or w/e
>boil kettle (if you have one)
>put teabag in cup
>don't pour the boiling water in straight away, wait a few seconds
>pour
>leave for three minutes
>add milk, how much depends on how strong you want it
>enjoy
That's cause you're a kid and he might be too, but is a third worlder.
name one drink that comes in a glass bottle, not a plastic one
Voss
Coke
Everything here before circa 1990.
>PG Tips
>not Twinings
poortherner detected
dunno what voss is and coke comes in plastic bottles
>>leave for three minutes
literally no one does this
everyone just pushes the teabag against the side of the cup and then takes it out 10-15 seconds later
>dunno what voss is
Hipster water
I just like the bottles it comes in.
Southerner actually m8
Actually I think you can get Twinings in yank land.
Plebs do
Coke and other fizzy drinks come in glass bottles in restaurants and pubs here.
>In October 2010, Norway's TV 2 reported that Voss has the same source as tap water from the municipal water supply in Iveland and, contrary to Voss marketing
I don't. I use boiled water, so there's no use as you can't drink it after 10 seconds anyway.
Tbh, my tap water tastes better than most mineral water I've had.
>Voss has the same source as tap water
Wouldn't surprise me.
Again I just like the bottles they come in.
here restaurants serve coke on tap because it's cheaper to buy the syrup in bulk
USA is a weird country...
Same mate, do you have hard water? Soft water tastes like shit.
Only fast food places do the syrup method here, it's disgusting.
Even kebab shops sell bottles and cans.
You can buy coke in glass bottles. You see just underage
>so there's no use as you can't drink it after 10 seconds anyway.
you just have to sip it slowly, also the milk cools it a little bit
it's not like you wait 5 minutes for the tea to cool before you drink it anyway
*You are
Of course that's cheaper. Restaurants usually try to be a little classier than that, though. Hence the glass bottles and no plastic either.
You can get Twinnings here, so you can probably get it in the States
I like to drink it in a normal way and you realise that only you people put milk in it, hopefully.
>waiting for tea to cool down
The only reason I started to drink tea is because I started adding cold water after a minute or two of soaking.
I'm not going to wait 5+ minutesfor the tea to reach the sweet spot checking every now and then.
Besides the tea stays at the optimal temp range for less than 3 minutes, it's really easy to miss it.
>kettle on
>Yorkshire tea bag in mug
>pour water in
>move tea bag around
>wait for a bit
>smoosh bag against side
>move tea bag around
>wait for a bit
>smoosh bag against side
>bin tea bag
>splash of red milk
>take to favourite chair
>take a sip
>too hot
>put it down
>forget about it until 20 minutes later when it's stone cold
>repeat
>bin tea bag
It goes in the food bin you fucking cunt
well that's a fucking bin then innit
You bloody southerners and you're two bins
>normal bin
>food bin
>recycling bin
>garden bin
You guys only have two bins? Where does the recycling go?
I have a recycling bin, a garden waste bin and a domestic waste bin
I have a trash, plastic recycling, compost , and organics, and cardboard/paper recycling
why would you throw out the tea bag before drinking tea?
I have a bin
If you leave the tea bag in too long it leaves a bitter taste in the water
>tfw no turkish tea on 35°c days
Earl Gray is the only way to go with tea tbqh. Peppermints pretty good though
Bin wanker loves his fucking bins
Because it's done its job, same reason we send the Pole home before we go for a piss
Well done mate
>If you leave the tea bag in too long it leaves a bitter taste in the water
you mean, it makes the water taste like tea?
do you also get rid of the leaves if you are drinking loose leaf tea?
Of course you get rid of the leaves you fucking subhuman, you strain the leaves so you're only left with the water.
Do you even tea?
oh
i've never done it
i guess i just like my tea strong
Am I the only one who drink tea from clay teapot/porcelin pot?
>not blending ceylon tea earl gray and black tea together
sure hope you all find the right way
