>Hey, you can't throttle people Comcast! Stop it!
>ok. you have a cap now instead lol

Because you agreed to the contract, dumbass.

Sucks to be you, faggot.
Get used to it. As soon as meme neutrality is repealed, you'll really feel the heat.

>non secure connection
shieeet

>now
It's not like cap was introduced after T2, amerifats always had caps and even tried to bring it to Brazil.

It only happens because your govt is too much involved in it and prevent basic competition with all its regulations and corruption.

In countries with no govt meddling, the data plan is basically unlimited, the classic case is "4 GB a month, then the speed slows down (capped to 250kB/s or something)".

Blame your govt.

>amerifats always had caps
Nope, Comcast implemented these caps after the FCC busted their balls over P2P throttling and Netflix throttling.
Other major telcos followed suit in "test markets" and found that they could get away with it pretty goddamn easily, particularly cable companies.
Plenty of ISPs here don't have data caps, but thanks to regional monopolies most people don't have the option.

It's not mobile it's a wired connection.

>In countries with no govt meddling
You mean, in countries with extremely large gov meddling?

That's not how it works, that's not how any of it works
Fuck off P.ajit

>absolute state of the united states
how that ebin president working out for you guys? hype about death of net neutrality, (((user)))?

...

>That's not how it works, that's not how any of it works
Why would you say that here? Why would you reveal yourself?

How the fuck are you consuming 1tb of data in just a few weeks? I use like 50gb of data per month and I'm always online.

A single game from Steam can be 50GB.

I used 87GB on my phone from first nov to now, how are you so frugal with your data?

4K streaming.

Good thing I don't have data caps.

Oh right I don't have a pc.
Been using 25gb since October.
I stream 1080p.

I'm going over for the 3rd time this year. Got 80% notice on Sunday, and Monday a notice that I was already over. Their fucking metering is delayed. It's fucking annoying.

The US has regulated ISPs into monopolistic domination. It's very hard to start up a new ISP, unlike here in the UK where I have about two dozen.

Because you agreed to it when you signed up for service

it's because you have regulations against monopolistic tendencies, while US still can't figure out how to tie their shoes and they decided to invent a Velcro instead of fixing the fucking problem.

Your first mistake is visiting a website with no https, your second one is not automatically redirecting every connection on port 80 to an internal web server that sends you a 301 with the-site-you-meant-to-go.to/something.

That's nothing. My cap about here in rural leafland is 50GB for $80
