cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/unofficial/non-free/cd-including-firmware/

But does it have this wireless driver (wiki.debian.org/wl) ? anyone know

Are you fucking serious??? fucking damn

If you fill in the box, it creates mustard gas.

It crashed my vm bro

ahaha

Install gentoo.

now you are trolling me :(

fine, fucking do it post it. God

Try installing it, look at the message it gives you about needing wifi drivers, install those onto the USB drive or DVD you're using from another device, try installing again and say yes when it asks you if you have those drivers on the installation device.

Too easy OP, give us something harder to solve

You got an IQ fo 145 my nigga?

I was expecting the path to be a dick or something.

>doesn't do it programmatically

sad

If it's a desktop, get a wifi extender. put an ethernet cable in it. Will save you so much trouble if you end up disto hopping.

Posting the fixed version

Threshold to 0, retard.

fuck your minimal shit... just install mint cinnamon and unless you have broadcom chips you will be fine... use that to navigate your maze and finz muh min mal deb

>debian

Is new Sup Forums meme?

>guys, my wife betrayed me. What do I do?
>INSTALL DEBIAN XDDDDDDd~~~~~~

Meh.

...

Take a look at debian.org/releases/jessie/i386/ch06s04.html.en for details on getting non-free firmware on your installation media.

I know the firmware my laptop needed (iwlwifi) was included. You can check one of these cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/unofficial/non-free/firmware/stretch/current/ I'm assuming this is the same firmware that cd image comes with.

lol
tn panel, You didn't waste any of my time.

You know that says "you fucked my mother", not wife, don't you?

kys

A clever ruse

Great idea, but won't the updates use a ton of data on installation?

no user on Sup Forums has ever been more owned than this

FU

>saved
I get scrombled every fucking weekday.

cool story bro

fucking gimp wont do it and just filles the whole screen to black even though though I selected red.
krita gives me the same results you have there.

this virus is useless on modern machines, they all pass.

Cant you usb tether using your home wifi ?

compile the core with only needed drivers

...

but it's a maze, not a post

Someone stick it on a poster and tape it to an actual post. See what happens.

I tried installing debian for broadcom wifi on my laptop.

Debian is grand for servers but as a desktop on modern hardware it's awful. I installed like 10 times and finally got it setup before I just trashed it and put Arch on. Arch is a pain in the ass to install but the packages are up to date and everything worked out of the box including wifi.

I wouldn't bother with debian. Go for something like ubuntu or arch instead desu.

>broadcom wifi
life is really fucking weird. Ubuntu is the one giving me wifi problems and arch is hard.

Fucking look its only 4 steps
wiki.debian.org/wl

i think you need more ram

I didn't say I couldn't figure it out. I just said it was a pain in the ass, the nonfree firemware image didn't load the driver, had to format USB key to FAT because it wouldn't read an NTFS. It wouldn't load the driver off the same key the installer booted off of, unless you unplugged it and plugged it back in, then it wold complain about no installation medium detected and would not detect it again.

Arch is not hard. You follow a wiki and run commands. It was easier to install than debian and the package manager is easier than debians as well especially since you want modern kernel and packages on modern hardware.

If Ubuntu is giving you wifi problems you're probably fucked anyway or too retarded to use linux.

Why not regular install?

You're the cancer killing Sup Forums.

user i tilted my screen and saw right through your ruse
