Can I get a Sup Forums tier reading list? This is what I have so far.
I know I wanna get into low-level stuff like BASH and Assembly since I'm a CE major.
SICP I learned about here and tried reading online, can't do it. Reading a book on screen is awful. The other two books are textbooks from my courses that I found intriguing. However, the cpp one has some things left to be desired (mainly how none of the code in it compiles).

Is there anyway I can download that whole thing?
For your case:
C programming language
C++ programming language
For python?
>bash
>low-level
pic related.
that x86 assembly book any good?
>fortran
Not even Sup Forums is retarded enough to actually care about that horrible dead language
>get excites by Sup Forums memes that SICP is only $10
>it's actually over $50
Consider the fact that image is at least 4 years old if not more, the Sup Forumstards and other morons of the redditesque variety made the prices go up.
I'll just have to print it out myself, I have no will to read on my phone or computer
doesn't load :^(

i wouldn't even fall for this, but since there are anime girls i will give it a try
only further proof that including anime girls into everything is nothing but a good thing
I wonder if there's a new version of the chart in /sci/.
I'd ask but they're angry all the time.
don't be a pussy
What language should I try to learn the SICP content with? C or LISP?
...
LISP, of course.
Thanks for the answer.
It's kind of shocking how poorly written nonfiction books are. Have you tried looking at the books on Photoshop or Photoshop Elements? They're incomprehensible.
This dude paperback seems to sell lots of books
Is Gödel Escher Bach worth its meme status?
one trick pony, although it was a really good trick.
The authors don't understand the material, or if they do they don't know how to explain it to people who don't already know it.
thanks daddy.
