I hate our cities. I hate them all. It is basically chaos in urban form. No old buildings like Euros. No organized suburban sprawls like new world. All chaos.
Rich people even live in modern commieblocks.
Look at the photograph carefully. A rich neighbourhood in İstanbul. Doesn't it look like a ghetto from Dredd universe? Figure out how the poorer ones look. I miss wooden Ottoman houses.
>Such a shitty building close to a beautiful mosquee. A waste Building removal when ?
Oliver Brown
>I miss wooden Ottoman houses >fry potatoes inside >1/3 of city burns
fuck off
Connor Gutierrez
Richest neighbourhood in sunny ""European"" city of İzmir.
Modern ones can be built by using wood as only for accessory.
Ian Jenkins
Is that like a community pool on the roof? That seems pretty cool.
Jeremiah Garcia
I have a revelation for you: commieblocks are human warehouses constructed to contain explosive population growth (or explosive urbanisation). Vertical housing isolates people from each other and exponentially increases travel time to stores and services that would be right next to you in terms of horizontal distance. Commieblocks are endemic of society treating people as cattle.
David Ramirez
It also provides cheap housing close to the city
Jordan Roberts
Those are shadows.
Logan Russell
That in no way invalidates what I said. Commieblock neighborhoods are pretty much labor reserves, not real communities.
Kevin Allen
I'm totally agree with you.But some of them look cool
David Ward
>It also provides cheap housing close to the city
M8 the places I posted are some of the richest neighbourhoods in Turkey.
Daniel Gray
I guess some land is historical to dig a landcable.
Joseph Myers
If the architecture of the buildings looked nicer, this would be pretty cool
Brody Miller
I posted the richest ones. This is one of the poorest. It is in Adana.
Andrew Parker
A hip-hop song from an artist here. He did it with American soldiers in İncirlik.
An İstanbul ghetto mostly inhabited by Kurds and Black Sea immigrants.
Nolan Green
Horrible, just horrible.
Xavier Turner
Were you in Trabzon or Konya? Really beautiful there desu
Easton Garcia
Because these buildings have no identity. These blocks could be in Turkey, in Russia, in China or in Brazil. Nothing about them says "Turkey". No wonder it feels ugly and out of place.
Adam Cook
>Because these buildings have no identity. Like I said, human warehouses. Not designed to function as communities by and for the people living in them.
Oliver Roberts
A rich neighbourhood should look like pic related.
Leo Robinson
Exceptionally rich people don't live in skyscrapers.
Landon Baker
Good point. Our traditional houses are these but they are dying. Replaced by commieblocks.
Thomas Ortiz
looks like a polished up housing project
Eli Carter
And so what? only rich hipsters hated commieblocks.
