No tracker I've ever heard of does this. Closest I can think of is Bibliotik but that's more of a case of it being almost impossible to maintain a ratio without uploading new content (due to most files being exchanged being like a megabyte or less) rather than them actively purging people who don't do so, and anyway it's almost a non-issue even there due to the very generous (relative to average download size) initial buffer they give everyone.

BIB doesn't do anything that other private trackers don't do. The only tracker that requires more than the average private tracker is HDB, which requires you to maintain a weekly download average of 1 GB/week.

Shouldn't be a problem as long as you follow whatever rules the site sets for requests. Most trackers aim to be as comprehensive as possible on their chosen specialty so anything to help complete their library will probably be seen as good.

But as I said it's not really enforced as a rule besides recruiters evaluating a potential recruit's ability to do so before joining by making people show they can access an Overdrive library or w/e

Only things to keep in mind are that I believe only torrents over 150MB are counted (or it might be 100) and also be damn sure that every torrent you grind this way hits its seeding requirement before you remove it because staff will not look kindly if you get a few hundred hit & runs all at once and need to go explain how you fucked up.
In theory the "right" way to do it is to upload new content and get credited for snatches on your uploads, but a lot of people don't bother and just do it that way. I'll probably grind another 1500 snatches myself some day when I feel like becoming a Master

Oh also a suggestion I usually follow is to try to go for stuff that will later get trumped into season packs since I believe it will fuck up your average seed time less when it eventually gets removed without removing the snatches, might be relevant to some recruiter some day though most people probably don't care either way.

HDB just expects you to download enough to justify being on the tracker. which literally anyone can do, and which realistically everyone was intending to do anyway. BIB expects you to gain and retain access to a source for retail quality e-books with the implicit expectation that you will use it to contribute in the form of uploads. that, to me, is more than what HDB expects.

I want to edit some anime footage in premiere pro or after effects, but neither of those programs support mkv. I've been using handbrake to convert mkvs to mp4 but it takes like 15+ hours to convert lots of episodes. it would be nice if I could just download raw anime in mp4 format. Any trackers that have this? The only ones I know of are the two nyaa clones but they don't really have a lot of seeders.
