Windows anti virus

Been out of the PC world for a few years. what are the good anti virus programs these days?

Common Sense (TM)

Panda. Bit Defender also has a good AV for free, but Panda is much ligher. Also ClamAV because it's Opensource.

>ClamAV because it's Opensource.

>Windows defender

Just cut your internet cable.

Malwarebytes and a brain

You need more than common sense to protect windows, isn't that what lintards have always been saying? God you niggers are dumb

gentoo

I like 360 Total Security Essentials. Free, literally ZERO nags/popups and catches bad stuff. It's Chinese so it probably sends tons of info over there, but what product doesn't nowadays?

I basically just accept that I can't stop everything. I separate computers for porn/pirated games and banking/games I paid for, respectively.

Switched from Kaspersky to Bitdefender.

Kaspersky was really weird. I couldn't even log into GTA Online because Kaspersky's firewall didn't listen to whitelisting or even pausing. You had to turn the whole program off to not break some programs.

Bitdefender is odd too. It literally wouldn't even let me save to the main hard drive with an old program that wasn't on the install list until I whitelisted it under the safe files/application access menu.

It also took a few restarts to get the safepay feature working correctly. It's a bit inconvenient in the way it takes up the entire screen vs the Kaspersky equivalent if you're comparing prices in another window.

>360
哈哈哈哈哈

Kys

Sandboxie, maybe EMET

IDA Pro / WinDbg + either VirtualKD under a hypervisor or a remote session.

There's no good free antivirus or antimalware. MalwareBytes being manual is a dick.

Bonzi Buddy

Kaspersky, Emsisoft or ESET?

>Unironically using antivirus
Haven't used one in 7 years and haven't got a single virus
And I do pirate a lot of stuff
Windows defender is disabled too

just use windows defender or malwarebytes if you want to pay
what do you mean "malwarebytes being manual"..?

That after the free trial you have to manually scan the system

Haven't bothered with shit for years.
