What?

a good proxy

I don't think you understand how tor works nor should you be using it given your lack of knowledge.

>good free proxies ?
You really need to watch this vid

dont do it
too danger
once i visited some onion site and three days after a black person called me, telling me that he knows where i live and that he will talk with my dad to pay a "protection fee"

>people still don't know the difference between the deep web and the dark web
reeeee
also
>not knowing how tor works

jsut get behind seven boxxies and you'll be fine

nobody can survive 7 boxies speaking at the same time.
One insufferable cunt is hard enough.

Don't insult the Queen. Boxxy is forever

Since nobody else is going to help OP out, I'll try.

.Onion sites can only be accessed via tor browser. Tor is a network that bounces your connection around the world to ensure anonymity. It's similar to using several encrypted proxies at once.

So when you say "anyone have a good proxy", then mention "to check out onion sites", it doesn't make any sense, because tor in itself is already an anonymity network. You don't need a public proxy.

You just download tor browser and then visit the onion site.

my bad i am a fucking retard i thought you needed tor and a proxy because i thought tor by itself could not protect you

tor alone protects you just fine.
some extra paranoid people use VPN's with tor, but its debatable whether it actually helps. some super paranoid people use an entire OS built around tor(tailsOS/Whoonix) but thats only if you plan on going extreme illegal mode.

in 99% cases, disabling javascript in about:config with an updated tor browser is all you need. you disable javascript because a webpage can compromise your anonymity easily. i dont know why its enabled by default.

thank you for the information you have been great help

I miss her

>tor alone protects you just fine
hello FBI

so it does not protect you entirely by itself ?

Depends on what you are trying to do, when it comes to privacy it is usually the user who leaks the most identifying information.

i see i am not planning to go on anything very dodgy anyway

...

fine let them come like i said i am not planning on going on any dodgy stuff that will get me in trouble anyway

>guy publicises someone's IP address just for looking up violent porn

Weak bait

Depends on the website, they mostly suggest any sites with heavy JavaScript's, even torrents aren't safe. Getting a VPN or rather setting up a vps is better than just trusting tor.

>Getting a VPN or rather setting up a vps is better than just trusting tor.
It's completely redundant. If a site or authority managed to bypass tor, then getting a subpoena from your VPN would be trivial. All VPN's log. They will 100% give you up. It's happened before.

Isn't it disabled by default in the newest versions of tor browser?

Just hopping on the band wagon there, huh?

I just downloaded Tor when reinstalling ubuntu last week, and no. I still had to disable javascript in the 'about:config' settings.

dear god i have gone too far......

i aint clicking that shit motherfucker

Not that I have blind faith in them, but PIA was subpoenaed by the FBI and wasn't able to produce logs.
