Does anyone have experience with this? I lost nearly 200 pounds a few years ago and my skin is still gross despite lifting weights and eating healthy for so long. I have about $4000 US saved, but abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) is almost $10k here in the United States; I looked up the rates, and it seems like in Mexico it can be done for under $3000 US.
Does anyone have experience with this? I'm wondering how risky it would be. I know how to speak Spanish fluently.
The US has the worst and the most expebsive plastic surgeons in the world. Mexico is a good place as is Brazil, Korea, and Saudi Arabia although it's very expensive is SA.
Hunter Morris
Why not Canada?
Get in a car accident and claim your skin got messed up that way
Josiah Richardson
Korean here. We're specialized in shit Koreans and Asians want. Tummy tucks isn't one of them.
If you don't go for a dodgy clinic and do your research properly, there should be no problem with Mexico or Brazil.
Owen Morales
>hello, i am here for the tummy tuck
how silly
Robert Miller
They say you can shart yourself fit.

I hear that Turkey is a popular place for cheap plastic surgery.
Isaac Lewis
Sex change is free here.
Not joking.
Samuel Long
explain. just for Brazilians or anyone?
John Bennett
Plenty of people in the US get surgeries in the DR, Brazil or Mexico where it's much cheaper. Generally, unless you go for bottom of the barrel service, the surgery is fine.
Juan Jackson
You should come to Colombia or Brazil, it's better and also cheaper
Dylan Ramirez
Don't know much about it.
I think everyone. Why? Wanna be a qt grill?
Brody Nelson
n-no. Im honestly afraid of going to Brazil. too dangerous.
Isaiah Morgan
Thailand
Blake Martinez
Whatever.
Ryder Sullivan
So what exactly is the procedure for that. Do you just go to any plastic surgeon and say "make ma a grill" or is it special clinics?
Cooper Smith
Some govt hospitals do.
Xavier Edwards
>Why not Canada? >Get in a car accident and claim your skin got messed up that way
Wtf?
he's not a citizen, he's never paid our taxes and cosmetic surgeries aren't covered
Levi Brown
How hard is it for an english speaker to learn Portuguese?
Gabriel Nguyen
Meh idk. I see some seaking here but with a few dificulties. There are a english online school here that uses native english speakers as teachers, but idk f the classes are in Portuguese or English.
Grayson Richardson
hmm. I honestly have never met anyone who speaks Portuguese and isn't Brazilian or Portuguese.
Landon Ortiz
in here even illegals get free healthcare
Michael Butler
have you tried claiming that it itches? im serious, insurance would probably cover it that way
Wyatt Cox
>my skin is gross
Consult a fucking dermatolagist or a cosmologist instead of a fucking Plastic surgeon, you doltish shart in mart
Evan Fisher
I meant I have loose skin you idiot. That accompanies weight loss; I assumed it was obvious by my post.
Charles Howard
Maybe Bolan, we have some new neat cliniques where mostly Germs and Scandinavians comes. Googled that the cost of surgery is 1700€
isnt there specialy one city in Mexico near the border just for the plastic operation shit?
Jack Taylor
I think it's for everyone. My mother (who is a nurse and BR) has told me about the differences between the health system of some countries and apparently Brazil has a unique health system (SUS) which includes everyone. I'm not a Brazilian citizen but if I get sick there I can go to the hospital and will be treated. Same goes for any procedure. Of course you have to take this with a grain of salt as this is in theory but not always the way irl but mostly due to external problems.
Also about actual sex change, the gov does do it for free. But before that you have to regularly attend a team of like 5 specialists including a psychologist, doctor, psychiatrist and social assistant, for at least 2 years, usually 3. You also have to have a lawyer to defend your case if/when you change your name. SUS does the procedure for free (Sistema Único de Saúde roughly unique health system)

I've watched enough Botched to learn that you should be precautious when doing plastic surgery in places that are too cheap. From what I understand Brazil has some of the best surgeons, but not necessarily the cheap ones. This would probably be my choice. Mexico has a lot of cheap shit, some bordering cities actually catering to Americans looking for some deals. Some places have like a plastic surgery menu where you can choose what you want and special offers like "get 3 surgeries and your 4th is free!". These can be sketchy though. I don't advise. The Philippines also seem to be cheap but seem to suffer the same problem as Mexico. Saudi Arabia is good but expensive. South Korea is really good and from what I understand cheap, but they mostly cater to Korean/jap/chink needs/aesthetic and don't know what to do with foreigners. Even at hair salons if you have curly hair they'll be thrown aback and some will downright refuse to cut your hair.
