Yes any ssd is good for linux. They are below the OS level so doesnt really make much difference.

I have 2 of those exact drives in my desktop, they are very good. I'm using them as separate drives right now but wondering if it makes sense to put them in RAID 0? Would it severely fuck up access times? I don't really need the increased r/w speeds but it would be slightly more convenient to have one 500gb "drive"
