...

It's a solid card with good performance, the best of the AIB Vegas yet.
A shame only 20 of them will get made, and 18 of them will be bought up by miners.

421W peak draw. Fuuuuckkkkkkk.

>3 8-pin power connectors

AYYMD HOUSEFIRES

Expected performance and insane power draw, it's a shame because Sapphire is STILL the Best manifacturer, they need a good chip to work on.

It's not voltage locked.
With tricky hands and a shuntmod you can make Pascal do the same.

>faster than the 1080 in almost every game

BASED

Bait

where would the LC one come?

>421W peak draw. Fuuuuckkkkkkk.

The 1080 has something like 280W peak draw, and it only reaches that for half a second too.

>Vega 56 is a way better choice, and even a match to the 1070ti/1080, but only after the price is no longer inflated

So a repeat of the reference cards?

>barely faster than the normal Vega
Vega is already clocked to hell to begin with and has the power draw to show for it, you expect an AIB card to overclock well on what is already a heavily overclocked GPU to begin with?

Beats a 1080 on "silent"
How silent?

Non-reference cards are largely memes.

>3 8-pin power

>poor volta

The gpu costs as much as a 1080ti to produce.

> 1080 Ti is 25% faster

lmao AMD is pathetic. I'm saying this as an AMD shill.

Why are they all fuckhuge, I was promised a Vega Nano

I think that was supposed to be more a proof of concept than an actual product.

Probably not worth their while trying to bin chips for another Nano. Supply as a whole seems extremely limited, so they likely don't have the volume to do so even if they wanted to. Plus the performance would be extremely mediocre (given that it already is with them volted and clocked to the hilt).

Vega's an even bigger disaster than the Fury lineup.

there is a nano sized board, but it's 3rd party. XFX I believe. If they make a version with a small cooler, then it's a nano

This was clearly an inside job

>mfw I recently got a 580 nitro+ for $250.

Say whatever you want, but that PCB is sexy af

This or the Strixx

Not a fan of them leds but
>sexy as fuck backplate
>sexy as fuck pcb
>solid performance for my need
Now if I only can get my hand on one.

What's the hashrate though

Does it beat the raw vega 2000h on cryptonight?

It will be amazing watching that cunt get exposed at Intel.

>people still give a shit about smegma

When and where is it going on sale?

>3 8-pin connectors 525watts max
AMD IS GOING NUCLEAR.
WATER COOLING REQUIRED WHEN???

Anyone got any clue if this vrm better then the reference

why?????

>$660

Because I want to buy it, inflated prices be damned.

>up to 300w depending on your cables
>up to 1kW going into 1 gpu

I'll take a slightly slower card that's not a total housefire space-heater over this monster any day. There's a disadvantage beyond heat, noise. I don't know how good the heatsink and fans on this one is but I'm betting it's not exactly quiet.

...but nobody's going to make a factory underclocked variant which comes with a gigantic heatsink just to ensure it's quiet. Not with other cards either.

>Muh magic drivers
I was memed into buying Vega 56. Thinking of doubling my money by selling it to miners and grabbing a 1080 Ti even though I have a Freesync monitor.

I just don't get why people buy this. It was already DOA. High price, high watts, late AIB and underperforming. Just get 1080 or 1080Ti.

Sell it to me.

>$659 for a vega 64
>when you could get a 15-30% faster 1080ti for only $50 more
it's like they don't want anyone to buy this crap

Thank you based AMD for making me feel good about purchasing Jewvidia 1070.

vega 64 is still out of stock here

You underestimate the zealous amdfags.

Duhhhh

>AMD is discontinuing the production and distribution of reference Radeon RX Vega 64 and 56 graphics cards

wccftech.com/amd-stops-shipping-reference-rx-vega-favor-custom-cards/

lol neither

it's not their fault, blame the cryptojews.

>crypto
>vegas

no

>what is monero

I waited for Vega nitro but 660 shekels, hell nooo

At least this means it probably won't be popular with miners since you can't max out your PSU as well with cards. The unlocked voltage seems kinda worthless for mining. People are only pulling 130w mining Monero.

>$729 AUD for vega64
>cheapest 1080ti is like $1100+
vega is good value when the price isn't jacked up by coinfaggots

but i've got a 1080 already for gaymen, vega is in my work pc
