What's the best video player?

What's the best video player?
is it pic related?

As long as it works nigga

windows media player

mpv

use ranger and then use mplayer

I use both vlc and mpv for they are dah best.

vlc has a lot of handy extras like subtitles editor and the ability to stream videos.

mpv is great if you need to use special filters (like to watch old anime that is only available on crappy resolutions).

mpv can stream too. And it looks better because of better upscaling algos.

ffplay

I've been using VLC 1.11.1 for 4 years

You know the difference between best and worst?
Btw nice bait here is your (YOU).

this, vlc icecast connection is the best

I've been using VLC 2.1.2. for years,
but recently I've been having problems with YouTube videos.
As a poorfag, I have set the stream settings at 480p/576p, which still works for videos without HD. The ones that do contain HD resolutions, for some VLC does not automatically stream the 480p/576p as it did before. Only HD 720p.

What I wanted to ask is, could anyone check if the latest VLC version can playback lower rez YT streams from HD videos?

I liked gom up until they started forcing visible ads on launch...

I use MPC-HC & VLC.

Likewise.

power media player

What benefit is there to streaming YT vids over watching them in a browser?

Bomi
it was abandoned years ago but it's still the best

Yes. It werkz unlike gentoo.

i like bsplayer because of the auto subtitle function, it is really easy to use
vlsub in the vlc is buggy as hell
also im too much of a brainlet to configure mpv
