The National Parks are great, especially out west.

I went from New York to Mammoth Caves, Mississippi delta and New Orleans for some degeneracy. I loved the fuck out of it.

Wtf is wrong with (You)

Been to 41 states, so I've seen everything.

Also, about our national parks
youtu.be/u2YJ_8b54BU

>Chilean road trip
>Are we going up or down

>We have great national parks
Hahaha. Your national """parks""" are more like large gardens. Nothing is old-growth wilderness, it's all carefully arranged.

Why would i go to America and go somewhere outside of NYC?

Because NYC is one of the worst places in the country

t. Wyomingite

lolwut

Why not go to Canada instead and see real nature instead of fenced-in artificial one?

>McDonalds by the trailhead, eh Squatting Pygmy Man (my trail name)

straya does it again

>not enjoying a bag of hamburgers and fries on the mountain
Shiggy.

Americans Rockies are pathetic.

I have done so with two of my best friends. We covered about 3000 miles on the West Coast in 2013.
Favorites were Olympic and Death Valley; for entirely different reasons, obviously. Loved all the campgrounds in impossible locations, too.
btw I hate America lol

>Australian education

Nature

Hey :'(

Only with a good supply of real mayonnaise (tm).

Actually the US have the greatest national parks in the world: 1,294,476 km2 (protected area, ie, national parks, state forests, etc.) + 1,271,408 km2 (marine area).

Just as a reference: EU's total area is 4,325,000 km2

I don't think Dutch people understand the concept of a road trip.

>kept under raps

daily reminder that we have the tallest mountain in north america

You guys do realize that most, if not all, of the parks out west are actual nature?

>muh parks

None of them are real, they're basically glorified pine plantations at this point.

yet we have mount thor.

they're shartposting, bro

SHARK IN PARK

And "Chimney Trail" is actually a road leading up to that designated vantage point.

Want to go camping anywhere in the picture? You need a permit and to book and reserve a designated campsite

its almost impossible to get there. either way the first people to rappel down it were...you guessed it...Americans.

Good post

>his nation's greatest natural treasure is a giant hole which forces out gases and liquids together in a violent rupture

Of course everyone we met was super nice (except some actual nigger shouting at us from across the street for no apparent reason). Just felt like getting that one in.
To stay on topic, Crater Lake is a fucking meme. Mosquito central and a nice view is all you're in for; walking on volcanic rocks is an experience for sure, but not the most remarkable one.
Maybe we were just pissed we couldn't go to the island on whim. That much is possible.

>en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yellowstone_fires_of_1988

Most of the park isn't even 30 years old.

Actually pretty clever 2bh, too bad your nation's greatest natural treasures were desecrated by the Abos.

Yeah, that island looks comfy. Maybe none of the rangers felt like escorting you to make sure you didn't take anything, they're pretty anal about that.

Given that wildfires are a natural phenomenon and pine trees have in fact evolved deliberately flammable needles to facilitate them, I fail to see your point.

You do know that fires are an integral part of the lifecycle in these places?

>Actually pretty clever 2bh, too bad your nation's greatest natural treasures were desecrated by the Abos.
Nah we still got the great barrier reef. The based sharks protected it from abos.

Don't respond to Australian "education".
He's an idiot.

my favorite part of the national parks system is when rich, moronic white girls deface it with ugly graffiti and then upload the pics to instagram. these natural wonders are truly kept and preserved for the enjoyment of the world's best, most upstanding, citizens...Americans.

I really hope that indian oil conglomerate doesn't start drilling in the reef.

Ah, that's good.

This is illegal, btw, and the girl was prosecuted. Honestly though, I hope that cunt dies.

Seeing how overly rude retail workers are in America, no.

Here at least people pretend to like you.

Chances are if someone is being rude to you you are the problem. I usually don't have a problem with retail workers because I'm not an asshole.

I literally asked the woman how was her day going, she didn't reply and gave me a really mean look.

What now Billy Bob?

kek
which state was this?

People have bad days sometimes, it's a part of life. Just do your business and move on then. Every single person you run in to isn't going to be like that.

Everything is bigger in TEXAS

Nice deflect BTW

Have you received any more similar treatment? While that particular person might be an asshole, that means little about Americans in general.

great national parks? more like great national SHARTS

...

I would. You have beautiful landscapes and a unique and diverse natur, but the people living on it are too crazy.
Lol Australia is at it again

I can't drive, sadly, even motorcycles. I have this almost irrational fear of it.

I'd like to travel the great Alaska railway. Those landscapes are so beautiful.

Yeah, I want to do that eventually. I wanna see the Badlands and Yosemite.

Yes but it'd get pretty boring to drive. Boring roads, no passing lane rule, and you get cucked if you exceed 1 mph the limit

It'd be nice to but I don't think it will ever happen.
