What's the worst amp after the magni 3?

what is the second best headphone after the ma900?

vali 2

3rd worse is 1st Gen Asgard.

>when you're too stupid to install a muting relay in a headphone amp

Any required/suggested reading for audiophiles or for /hpg/ in particular? Can include web pages and magazines.

What is the second best headphone behind the HD600?

Almost as bad as 10 ohm chinkshit amps.

Discuss.

>The headband is a very high quality plastic and will not break
>mfw DiPolar eternally BTFO.

>it's basically an HD700 driver but performs very differently
So the enclosure around the driver has a huge effect on driver performance. Interesting.

Funny how everyone here laughs and points to Tyll as a fool until he shills for their precious HD 600. Bunch of hypocrites seeking constant validation around here.

>with plans to discontinue the HD 650
It's about time. That dark piece of shit never deserved to exist in the first place.

Confirms what we knew all along: it's worse than HD600/650.

basically. no one here actually listens to music or enjoys high quality audio. It's basically a sennbabby hugbox where they jerk off to graphs. God forbid you suggest buying the 6xx over the 600 instead and they go rapid, simply because the concept that they bought the overpriced model with no driver matching scares them and they need to go into full post purchase rationalization mode. God forbid you suggest EQ and they start shitposting because the idea that the precious hd6 series needs EQ to sound their best like every other headphone made makes them uneasy.

This general is a sad collection of sbaf/plebbit rejects with no merit in the topic.

This is a reminder that Etymotic bass response is accurate.

>AKG 240, AKG 240 mkII
these should sound exactly the same.

>with no merit in the topic.
>coming from this guy

>still doesn't own headphones

What are the second best budget IEMs behind Etymotic MK5?

Idol trash here.
What's your setup like, user?

HD600, obviously.
Who is your second favorite idol?

>being this fucking lazy

Soundmagic e10/e80, Finder X1, Various Chi-fi pieces (KZ, TFZ, etc).

>a sad collection of sbaf and plebit rejects

Pretty much

>posting in a shitposting thread

Should be deleted.

Beyerdynamic dt880,sennheiser hd6xx, or akg k7xx.
Dt880 is max comfy out of the three.

For a cheap amp, massdrop O2

HD600 > HD6xx > K7xx > dollar store headphones > DT880

I fail at life. Forgot pic.
Chihaya.
HD600. Not even a contest. Doing just a little research on them should confirm that for you.

Almost as much of a ripoff as DT880, HE-400i and Monoprice Desktop amp.

hd600

>not owning headphones
almost as much as a joke as not EQing your headphones

>he needs to EQ his headphones because he couldn't afford HD600

Animeposters and need to GO
REEEEEEEEEEEE

Anime website.

But I do own headphones my dear tripfag. Is just that I don't offer shitty advice, like encouraging buying O2s and beyerdynamics.

Damn son that is some rekt.

what headphone amp do you use then, sennbabby?

My guess is something better than a Monoprice POS. Of course, onboard sound would count as that.

inb4 magni user

Hi NHA

this

Reddit has a solid grasp of what is (HD600) and is not (HD650, K702, DT880) neutral.

>sennbaby
>literally one Sennheiser headphone
Meh, I'm done with you. If something doesn't follow your way, it's bad or stupid. If they think you are giving bad recommendations, they are shills. You act like baby to be honest.
I use a Focusrite scarlett, btw.

Sennheiser HD600

What do you record with the Focusrite, user?

At least you have solid choice in audio interfaces. That being said, the O2 measures and performs better than the amp on the scarlett with low impedence headphones.

HD580

Why are you still falling for the HD600 meme?

>Harman target
t.Jermajesty

>defective pair unrepresentative of headphones

Explain the mess from 5 kHz and up

InnerFidelity's HD600 sample was defective. One channel's 90 dB THD was significantly greater than the other channel's 100 dB THD. This is not simply poor driver matching. This is very clearly a defective sample.

>defective pair unrepresentative of headphones
[citation needed]

almost every headphone has garbage treble. This is why speakers are the true master race.

Bad measurement. One side is clearly poorly sealed.
Nothing to see here, move along.

>mfw delicious accuracy
>mfw my face is the most credible HD600 graph

Is his HD650 defective as well? Why can't you just accept it's a flawed headphone?

>mfw my face is the most credible HD600 graph
[citation needed]

>Harman target
Zebedee pls.

ASMR feet infatuation for my motherless account.
I mean, I have nothing against the O2. It came out at a time where the most affordable amp was about $400, and it brought to the table the much needed bullshit audio discusion, which was worse back in the day. But time has passed, and it no longer seems a viable option, unless you DIY, as you can add some needed changes to it, like getting rid of the 3.5mm jack.

Bad measurement.
Good measurement.

The end.

What's wrong with a 3.5mm jack for adults who can take care of their shit properly?

>Bad measurement.
[citation needed]
>Good measurement.
[citation needed]

For the sake of contrast, here's a bad headphone.

plenty of manufacturers who make the O2 make one with a 1/4" input jack option and a rear power jack. Regardless, almost every high end headphone has a cable that does both 1/8" or 1/4".

Here's another bad headphone.

Citation: me. I think I'm clearly the best possible source to describe what my face is.

innerfidelity.com/images/FocalClearsnA1BRQE000013.pdf pretty good.

These are terrible. What kind of idiot would buy these?

Yeah, but they do so at a price. Paying 100$+ for an O2 is criminal, at least to my eyes. At that point, if you are buying pre built, you are better of buying a magni.

The kind of idiot who doesn't understand HRTF.

ironically, people complaining about the 3.5mm jack of the O2 also happen to own HD600s which are bundled with a stock 3.5mm cable

the two o2 schills just got BTFO AGAIN.

600 owners literally cannot stop winning and they fucking HATE it

>Magni
Clearly the only amp anyone ever needs.

How does this work? Volume control is variable impedance?

Oh god you just went and set them off.

Get ready for the rage.

>Magni 3
>Frequency Response: 20Hz-20Khz, -0.1db, 2Hz-900KHz, -3dB
>Maximum Power, 16 ohms: 3W RMS per channel
>Maximum Power, 600 ohms: 230mW RMS per channel
>THD: Less than 0.001%, 20Hz-20KHz, at 1V RMS, less than 0.02% at 5V RMS into 32 ohms
>IMD: Less than 0.001%, CCIF
>SNR: Greater than 108db, unweighted, referenced to 1V RMS
>Crosstalk: -70dB, 20 Hz-20KHz
>Output Impedance: Less than 0.3 ohms at either gain
How can other amps even compete?

What is the second best target curve behind the HD600's frequency response?

Are you guys aware that you've hit such a level of bullshit that no one new to the thread could possibly believe your recommendations of HD 600 as anything but shilling, memeing or trolling? You don't need to force a decent headphone, you know.

Put your trip back on.

>How can other amps even compete?
The premise is flawed. They _can't_ compete.

I want to lick her feet

put your schizophrenia away, NHA

>lookit how tech I am I know how to change my own IP address

>says the guy who thinks Schiit pays people to post here

>look at how poor I am I don't own any headphones

>calling someone paranoid while simultaneously calling them the boogeyman
Ahahaha. Oh wow.
