ER3SE.

What is the second best headphone behind the ma900?

penguin!

Please don't post more lewd penguins I haven't done anything productive except fapping these few days

I swear, it's like all of you are shitposting so that the bump limit is reached more quickly, allowing for more penguin OPs to be posted....

>ma900
Low fidelity garbage with no sub-bass and no upper mids.

Cheers

ER3SE or LS200iS.

what's the worst amp after the magni3?

Monoprice desktop amp with its 10 ohm output impedance.

Schiit vali
3rd worse if 1st Gen Asgard.

Any reason why the SE is specified here and not the ER3XR?

It's more neutral but if you want more bass get the ER3XR.

SR is flat
XR is sub-bass lift.

Thanks

Objective2 > Schiit Magni 3.

Which penguin would you OwO?

Which penguin wears the best headphones?

shut up you degenerate fuck

I have a pair of Yamaha EPH-100.

Driving them is an android phone with USB Type C.

I enjoy a 'V' sound structure.

I find the power and audio fidelity of my phone lacking compared to my laptop.

The sound stage has gotten smaller. The instruments have gone murky.

My budget is

Are you asking for a dac/amp or a DAP?

It's back and better than ever. Nice.

Too bad you can't fix the shit sound quality on those headphones.

fix these nuts

ok so... what headphones are the best? you fuckers are sayin a buncha mumbo jumbo bullshit and I just wanna know what to buy

No chill

Got sick of my M50's with being too bass punchy. Got myself the Hd599 as an early Christmas gift. Thoughts?

What's your budget senpai

Extremely high quality image, both cute and sexy

Budget - Below $70

Type of headphone - IEMs

Comfort level - Doesn't matter too much.

Sound signature - Doesn't matter too much.

Someone I know is looking for some new earbuds that have a shape like Apple EarPods. I tried to convince them to go for something more normal, but they insist on that kind of shape. Additionally, they *have* to have a mic and volume control buttons.

...I know this a super casual request, but I'm hoping that just makes it all the more easy to recommend something.

Tfz series II

a DAC/AMP

Cmoy would work great

What is the second best headphone behind the HD600?

I like the Audio Technica W1000X a lot.

chiru.no:8081/stream.flac

Listen to music the greatest format known the man.

Go for the dragonfly usb series. They work great and work with anything and any adapters. Tried it on my Oneplus 3t and worked great.

Shitty music though.

The hell is that pig disgusting aspect ratio?

...

very quick, should I buy hd 650 for 180? or Hd600 for 200? euro

HD600

alright. thx. will I need an amp for 600?

No

HD650 if you need bass otherwise get the HD600 which is more balanced/neutral

got them, thanx.

I appreciate that recommendation, but it turns out this relative of mine doesn't like anything with silicone tips. Probably won't like foam tips, either.

Which has very much made my searching a lot more difficult, but I digress. Those won't work for them. Need something without rubber or foam tips, and with mic and volume control.

anyone going to visit the schiitr?

Only thing I can think of off the top of my head is the ve monk. Either that or the koss porta pros

I was looking at the Monolith m560s (149 USD)or the ATH m40x
(120 USD) with some ZMF pads on them but i wanted to see if anyone
else had some other recommendations.

To clarify, the m40x would be 120 USD and that IS with ZMF pads included.

get $50 more and buy the HD6XX from Massdrop, would be a shame not to get them especially if you're in the US

Seem's they're into that VE Monk recommendation. That might work. Thanks a ton.

I was looking at those but even if i can extend my
budget by 50, I would have to drop extra on an
amp/dac combo to use them. Which is something
I can't do atm.

no prob, hope they enjoy them

Ath-msr7 don't need a dac/amp and are $200
Dt770 or 880 can be had for $150. The low impedence versions don't need an amp

ath m50x - my favourite sounding headphones, too bulky for travelling with.
akg k451 - portable and sounded great, quite comfy too.
Sennheiser 595's - best for entertainment and games imo

Prefereably wireless and have good noise cancelling for commuting.

Thanks for the recommendations. I'll check them out.

IEM of your choice and a Bluetooth cable

First time ive ever wanted to owo but... OwO

What was the story about some user buying Yggdrasil and butthurting here afterwards?

He bought one as a meme to piss people off and returned it afterwards.

Also there is one gay retard from headphones discord who got memed hard and bought Yggdrasil for his LS50.

None, just cheap $15 IEMs. I just want something sturdy and comfortable to listen to music at home for hours.

best sub $300 closed pair of cans quick go

why does Sup Forumsay hate audio-gd

Ath-msr7

>no measurements
>shit website
>praised by retards
i dunno senpai

So say I have no idea what I'm doing and haven't done any electronics since a middle school tech class but I have a soldering station and some solder, what headphone amp should I make?

Cheap and easy are my criteria... And hopefully works decently well too. Cmoy? I don't want to be stuck with batteries either unless I can use rechargeables.

build an O2

Didn't like them that much. Design wise they're awesome but they're certainly not the best in the 300$ range.
The ATH-M50(X) goes for around that now. If you want more comfort the M40's are great too.

DT150 DT250

What are some good wireless earbuds with decent sound quality and battery life?
Preferably around 60$

does anyone have the fiio btr1? looking at making my hd579s wireless so i can take a shit while listening to music.

are there other options available?

have any of you even heard them

lol

You know you can enter the world of fostex with just 100$ more, or get used from ebay.

>have you even heard an electrical device which can be completely quantified by measurements
Have you heard my $800 power cables?

I want to lick their thighs

what kind of sound signature should I look for if I mostly listen to /bleep/, 90s-early 00s trance, (minimal) techno, ambient? probably dark sound, but what kind of bass etc.? I feel like my head would explode if it's too much bass with techno...so should I look for more neutral less bassy sound?

there are no measurements

you meant no

Yeah there aren't measurements which means any audio-gd products can be entirely disregarded when purchasing amps and dacs :)

and yet all of you fags bought a magni 3 on day of release

>everyone who doesn't like my unmeasured dubious chinkshit must be a schiit shill
Didn't buy a magni, never have, never will.

What does /hpg/ think of wireless headphones like the ATH-DSR7BT?
I have a pair of beyerdynamics (dt 990 I think) and was looking to get an upgrade in sound. But I also like wireless headphones and the idea of being able to cook or take a piss without having to take my headphones off, really /comfy/. (the range probably wouldn't be enough tho).

Yeah, after Christmas. Why?

is the reason why relevant?

magni 3 is unmeasured yet recommended daily here because of subjective impressions even though schiit is an awful company with bad qc. audio-gd products are praised for the same reason, subjective impressions, but get bashed by people who haven't heard them "because there are no measurements". sounds like shilling

Boo hoo stop bitching that your unmeasured dubious garbage isn't shilled by retards who shrill other dubious unmeasured garbage

no argument

I own Sennheiser CX 1.00 earbuds, and while they're pretty good I feel like I can find something better.
How do the other CX versions compare to it?

magni 3 proves just because something isn't measured doesn't mean it's garbage for the neurotypicals whose units actually work. even when all of its hype is automated

howd i do?

Not 100% headphones but what are some cheap microphones I can clip onto/use with my headset? The one XTY Operator one from that screenshot is all sold out.

My headset's cable broke and I'm looking for a replacement. I've had a Creative Fatal1ty headset and only plugged in the mic if I was gonna use voice chat anyway so I might as well get a separate mic this time. Incidentally, are Creative known for producing shitty stiff cables that break even if you barely ever bend them?
My budget is 40€ and I'm basically looking for a similar replacement (especially liked the volume control right on the cable). I'm a pleb so I don't know shit about sound quality (for example I'm plugging this headset into an external USB sound card I got for
