Pro-Gaming UPS

>Pro-Gaming UPS

LEDs on the UPS hmmmm

>Sine wave power output

HOOOOOO SHIT bois we in the future now. Edison's DC BTFO

He looks like a soyboy.

As do, all gamers.

Cheap chink shit with capacitive dropper power supplies will burst into flames without it.

>buy cheapest ups you can find.
>buy marine deep cycle battery.
>wire deep cycle battery to ups battery terminals.
>you now have a better ups then most banks.

Oh god, they're got onto PSUs now with the gaming bullshit

>deep cycle battery
aren't all ups batteries deep cycle?

>Directly short marine deep cycle battery across motherboard's ground plane
>Enjoy enormous space heater / glowing magma orb of former PC
>Never worry about computing again.

Yes but the point is to have a battery that can last you a while if the power goes out.
Don't buy a regular car battery as discharging them below 80% will damage them.
My current setup can run my desk for 2 hours and some change if the mains go out and thats with everything on.

>>buy cheapest ups you can find.

1) Cheapos don't have sine wave output
2) Cheapos aren't designed to constantly run and will overheat

GENIOUS!

Your PSU doesn't care about sine wave output

All it does is rectify AC into DC, and a square wave makes this easier actually.

Square waves rape the input filtering.

Only if your APFC is shit

>extra heat
>shorter life

Enjoy your power supply failing.

A low-tier white soyboy that shacked up with a filipino hag

>Yes but the point is to have a battery that can last you a while if the power goes out.
No, UPS are for short few second blackouts or shutting down your computer properly when the power goes out.
What you want is an actual battery backup. UPS, specially cheap ones, are awful for that.

You don't need that comma you estronaut

oh no, if only i had an significant manufacturers warran.. oh wait

>No, UPS are for short few second blackouts or shutting down your computer properly when the power goes out.
You're retarded, there is a reason why SmartUPS let you daisy chain like 11 battery packs to them. My 3000X without a external battery pack lasts like half and hour with a 1kW load. Shit would last like 6 hours if I wanted 24U worth of UPS

lost

Uh, isn't AC power supposed to be a square wave?

Gave me a good chuckle. Thanks mang

A sine wave is a square wave with enough amplitude drive.

>electrical grid cucks
>Not having their own personal energy source.

plebs

Made me giggle

Is his name all gamers?

Bro.

Smh, most of the shitty UPS will just trickle charge constantly. That's fine for AGM batteries, but with the marine batteries, they can overcharge and start leaking.

yes, to sell more UPSes.

It even works, none of this means it is a good idea.

>buy ups to keep your shit online
>it kills the PSU and your shit is offline for weeks whilst you wait for it to be replaced under warranty

you're a gosh darn retard, son.

>allowing your power supply to fail.

No, what you want is a Tesla power wall.

>He doesn't even Fourier

Have I told you about the Gaming Screen Wipes one place was selling?

>tfw no RGB UPS
Why even life bros

>mission critical gaming

Yeah, but what about its power factor?

>giving any fucks about marketing terms
grow up Sup Forums

link to the video?

>people defending modified sine wave

lmao Sup Forums getting worse and worse

>not having a True Sine Wave UPS
>unironically believing it's impossible for stepped, jagged sine waves to interfere with the performance of a highly tuned machine

What kind of UPS would I need for a 200w i7 and a 350w gpu?

Those are extremely expensive but also the only ones who don't murder PSUs.

Since I can't afford them I just use my computer plugged straight to the wall, at least my very expensive PSU won't die prematurely as it would if I used a cheapo PSU.

I bought this on sale. It's literally the same exact thing as the CP1350PFCLCD. But for some reason they did their "gaming" marketing on it.
Fuck off with your shitposts.

>He lives in a locality that has brownouts

The only reason you need a UPS is for critical data and when the feds come knocking (so you can wipe all that naughty data when they pull the power line).

gaming network cards, why not. All you need is a few idiots to believe it and pay extra, doesn't cost you anything but box artwork.
