Italian pizzas are really good... honestly I don't even compare the two because they're so different, but I will say that when I was in Italy those pizzas got me through some of the worst hangovers ever. I always ate them with a dash of olive oil and a bit of pepper.

Whenever I'm making pizza I always shoot for the Italian style. It's a challenge to make without an oven that goes to 1000 C. American style treats the bread as a fat&salty toppings delivery method, but in reality the crust is the best part and it is what essentially makes pizza a pizza.

Yea no, i have to disagree with that. The dough is just a delivery for the toppings so it have to be thin and cruncy. The bottom part give the texture the toppings the flavour. From experience the only difference from pizza i got from x country and pizza from here was the texture. And even then there is plenty of shit pizza places here too, I'd say about 50% of them
