>mechanical keyboards

t. poorfag

My mom wants gradient blue keycaps. Kind of like tropical water, sort of turquoise. I want pale green ones. Where can I get something like this? We both have Ducky Ones.

I somehow relate to half of these. Am I a normie?

10 years of bluetooth typing and touch-pad freedom... my dinovo edge is still going strong !

one of the best purchases in my life... will still be using in 2030's

Throwing your gun in the pic doesn't make your keyboard manly
Also
>W10
>Cortana
>Full screen browser
Go back to /k/ plz

cant believe how much it cost me ... worth every penny... makes big screen TV's and couch computing usuable ... my setup

damn those ctrl keys are enormous

Waiting on a Pok3r RGB with MX Blues to arrive.
Hyped af.

Can anyone recommend me some good o-rings?

Just get a heavier clicky switch that you won't bottom out

I've used some 'brand' ones and some cheap shit off ebay, and honestly can't tell the difference

Bought a Ducky One Two with silver switches.
Feels the same as my old reds but they're faster to actuate.

...

More like the cuck/nu-male/virgin/soyboi lootcrate

just go into home depot or lowes and buy whatever ones you like. heck even dental bands work

I recieved one of those keycaps as a lucky dip bonus when I made a purchase recently. Does it mean ducky or something?

Don't you mean bugmen?

Ducky Channel in traditional Chinese.

>tfw not male, female or numale
What am I?

I really wanted to buy one but it never got cheap. Was always like $120-150 in Canada.

Now a days a k480 and airmouse seem to do the trick, at 1/3rd the price.

abnormie

I'm amazed people never pull split keyboards here
//ergo dox ez edition

chink caps are surprisingly nice for being $30

your spacebar is broken

Oh whoops, thought I already posted in here.

Hi gang! What did everybody get for Christmas?

it's $30 for a handful of plastic
should be quality at the margins they are probably making

>now days
Yep but there was simply nothing like it at the time in 2007. Even modern stuff isn't as premium.
> expensive
Funny story it was 300 dollars Australian when I bough it and when the chick was scanning it she thought I was buying a computer and only picked up the keyboard. She refused to believe a keyboard could be that expensive.

Plenty on eBay second hand the past few years. Reportedly they aren't kid friendly as keys come off pretty easily according to my Friend who gifted me his for spares ever since his hells pawn started eating the keys !

First for malware infected chink keyboards.

You pick up a Beretta P4 storm yet? Do you actually shoot or just touch yourself to your collection?

...

No, you're a soy bugman. Normies don't give a shit about what type of keyboard they use as long as it works.

I want to buy a single silver speed switch. Where's the cheapest way to buy this? Just wanna test my options before I choose one.

was trying to convince a Logitech fanboy that the g810 is far from being the favourite keyboard and he went into full fanboy flame war mode. Quite an enjoyable read.

Whats the best way to connect 5pin DIN(?) keyboard to USB? I've got one manufactured in Thailand that looks similar to a model M but I think its just an old school chink ripoff. Would DIN>PS2>USB work? Or will I have to solder it myself?

Also, anyone know where I can buy Hindi keycaps?

>not embedding Bluetooth and a battery into your favourite Din Keyboard.

Do it or forever leave Sup Forums for you are not worthy.

Figures a commie would own a mosin and put a faggy baby's shoulder pad on it cuz he gets boo boos when he shoots it. Wimp. You don't deserve a Model-M.

The rest of it can fuck off, but i'll defend the Lamy Safari. I've had mine for about 7 years now and it's been the smoothest and most dependable pen I've ever owned - yet cheap enough that if something happens to it I'm not too bothered.

I think DSA Lingua Franca might have a Hindi option, whenever it next goes up for sale

Keyboard was found in an abandoned building in Northern Greenland open to the elements for 20 years. Cleaned it off and is now my main keyboard.

congratulations user ! pure porno/g/raphy right there

enjoy it while it lasts sooner or later even keyboards will have an IP an be iCloud locked...

>want to buy $144 worth of keyboard parts from mechanicalkeyboards.com
>turns out I have to pay $54,60 to ship it to the Netherlands
>I will probably also have to pay 21% in taxes
does anybody have a European alternative?

1 - ship to a proxy
2 - fill $10 / gift / dragon dildo on customs declaration
3 - ????
4 - PROFIT

buy the parts from china instead, they'll even fill out the customs forms if you ask them too

Where can I find keycap sets with 1u modifiers and 1.75u shift for a tada68? Is the aluminum case worth it? Is it as easy as a couple screws to move from the plastic to aluminum case later?

>buy the parts from china instead, they'll even fill out the customs forms if you ask them too
From where in china, gonskeyboardworks is not an option because their pcb's are way too expensive and I need something that I can program myself like mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=536

EnjoyPBT sets

What keycaps are those?

I mean do alternatives to a pcb that you have to program yourself and which have something that you can turn into a numpad even exist

yes

which ones, I can't find any

I don't mind having to print an open source design myself but as far as I know there aren't any open source pcb's with these specifications

NPKC makes a bunch

I only seem to be able to find switch testers num pads and 60% keyboards from NPKC. no keyboards with a numpad or tenkeyless keyboards that you can modify to sorta have a numpad like phantom

anyone tried both mx reds and topre? i might get leopold fc660c
how do you compare them? should I?

topre is for cucks

well nvm I just paid the 54,60 and I am expecting another 50 when my keyboard arrives

>I swear I'm normal! I like mediocre things I bought at walmart too!

that rubber pad is fucking worse. no joke. its not soft at ALL. the limb saver is soft as fuck, too soft.

i put the metal plate back on fast. that shit was just hard rubber. even better at tenderizing your shoulder with them ridges. fucking shit.

the muzzle is nice tho, deff improvement.

They have a backlit full size keyboard kit tho. Its 60 bucks and comes with everything but the switches and keycaps.

red are linear, will just go down easily. Topre has a tactile bump at the top

Pretend this post has my ssk added to it

Are there good keyboards that aren't mechanical? I can't get along with that click sound all the time.

t. bugman

t. kekistani

fc660c is like butter

Tao Hao purple PBT doubleshot

>Manly Keyboards

Have IBM M & Cherry G80-2100 programmable with browns

topre is going to be your best friend

that's a nice SSK. what year is it? mine is a 93

Why not get a quiet mechanical keyboard? or do you just want a rubber dome over membrane

>go to /mkg/
>ask for something specifically outside of topic

Banter aside, just get linear (e.g. Cherry reds/blacks) switches and put o-rings on the stems.

so if i like heavy switch loud keyboards, would i like topre switches?

what keyboard it this?

a shitty one that you shouldnt buy

imagine a tactile switch but almost silent and the bump being at the top of the key press, if u get one and decide it isnt heavy enough u can get replacement domes in a heavier weight

what makes you say so?

just look at the color scheme, also its not even a full sized keyboard

Picture of my noppoo, post some boards nerds. Inspire me to waste money on something new. This one has gateron blues in it and they're pretty damn nice.

I'm fucking retarded, I apologize.

keep your opinion to yourself and just tell me the name of the model

can someone please tell me why logitech switches arent good? is it just the feeling? is there any inherit disadvantage to using them with regards to actuation and response time? I'm incredibly tempted to buy one, i frequently play games and type relatively quickly. so if anyone could tell me the problems with them, I'd really appreciate it.

do a reverse image search, i have no idea what its called

looks like a custom, meaning that the case, keycaps, switched and pcb probably are bought separately.
Case looks like milled aluminum.
Keycaps are a miami (not the chink ones)

This is my collection, top to bottom:
MasterKeys PBT S with Silvers
Leopold FC980PD with Clears
Varmilo VB87M with gateron Browns
Noppoo Choc Mini with gateron Blues
Magicforce with outemu Blacks

You should post yours user!

yeah i know i have reds
they are a bit easy to press not sure if its because of them being linear or the force
so idk if i should get 45 or 55 topre

Get 55 everytime, it's strictly superior. It's more tactile, which is the point of topre. If you want "linear" topre get a plum keyboard 35g. Topre is arguably end game tactile because of how smooth it is. If you're getting the realforce the primary benefit over the other boards is that it's available in 55g.
Another option would be to buy a plum board in your layout of choice, BKE redux domes, and some lube for the sliders. That's my plan at the moment.
55g.
Get the fucking 55g or so help me god I will rip your fucking head off.

>"RIP my wallet"
Lost it, why do they always say this

Man, MSI GPUs are so fucking ugly.

Just got a new mechanical keyboard. Kinda wierded out by the size of the keys. Looks a bit too high, almost 2 inches higher than my previous keyboard.

just get low profile/flat keycaps

Do you like typing on g20? I remember seriously considering it back a few months ago. I think that set you have would look really nice on the black kbd75.

Thanks, I'll look into it.

>Wimp. You don't deserve a Model-M.
A Garand doesn't kick for shit though.

out of all switches made, where would you guys rate cherry mx black switches?

OG/10

11/10

just replaced my magicforce og caps with blank miamis and spent two hours trying to sort them all in because different heights and getting them all in row is hard.

fuck you guys

Sometimes I do stupid shit.

Reasoning:

I love the feel of the 1987 ALPs switches and keycaps on the Mac 2 keyboard. But I don't have an ABD to USB adapter (ordered a Teenesy 2.0 to make one), so in the mean time I swapped the keycaps from the Mac keyboard onto this shitty Rosewill Striker.

Also ordered a Unicomp Model M. Should be arriving friday.
