He doesn't have 9TB of loli animu pics neatly organized on his local machine

>he doesn't have 9TB of loli animu pics neatly organized on his local machine

I'm not THAT autistic

Gelbooru: Offline edition?

>windows 10

Are you sure user?

>Downloading 9TB of pictures, not even video files or audio files
> All of them are loli pictures
> Have them neatly organized
No, I'm not.

i just dump most of my images in a single folder. i use tags in the filenames. it's a mess, but i usually find what i need.
i wish i had the time for hydrus, it looks great.

post your collections ITT

You are correct, I do not.

I just do very basic porn organisation.

I used to organize by specific fetish but holy shit that was more effort than it's worth.

shit the formatting got wiped but i'm sure you can figure out I organized by media type.

Scrot something with it written correctly.

Never heard of that Hydrus, looks pretty neat.

Or use multiple dashes instead of spaces or tabs, or use a code block.

>Fur

In fact, what do Anons use to organize their pictures? I just tag them with one primary tag in the filename, but mostly everyone I see seem to post files with Sup Forums-saved filenames. Surely you just don't have them all in a big heap in one directory, because how would you find what you're looking for?

>pic related

I just use folders.

What UNIX gave you is good enough, goddamnit.

Even with average size of 5 MB it will be at least 1.8mil pics. I'm calling bullshit.

I guess that works, but it seems a bit inefficient to iterate across groups of them.

>he doesn't go to Sup Forums

having imageboard filenames is a badge of pride because it proves you're not a filthy normie, with the exception of pixiv filenames

people who don't keep disorganized shitposting folders don't belong on Sup Forums

As you see, Main categories are [FUR], [NON] and [REAL]. Within them items are sub-categorized by media type but then cub/loli content is kept in their own separate folders.
It isn't great but it works, whatever.

I didn't get to pick what tickles my pickle mate, it's a curse as much as I love it.

I've never had to. The time saved by going to tags would be eclipsed by the time spent setting up the database.

You can choose what doesn't. Welcome to life, you could fuck anything if you wanted to. Choose not to.

>having imageboard filenames is a badge of pride because it proves you're not a filthy normie, with the exception of pixiv filenames
I do go to Sup Forums, but indeed I've always felt a bit retarded for not using imageboard filenames.

>You can choose what doesn't.

Wrong, I can choose to ignore it but i'm only denying myself by doing so. I'm hurting nobody with furshit.
If you want to actually take the moral high ground go for the loli stuff.

>The time saved by going to tags would be eclipsed by the time spent setting up the database.
To be fair, you could tag using directories by hardlinking files into several directories. It'd just be a bit hard to search for files matching multiple tags, but that's probably a pretty uncommon task.

You're hurting yourself, mostly. By setting yourself up for failure when someone finds your archive of furry porn.

Loli supposedly opens you up to liking children, but if the loli I've seen is representative of most loli, your tastes are closer to short japanese women with adult torso proportions and the usual childlike japanese limb proportions.

I'd delete it all and just go back to the normal thing of finding one good picture on the internet when horny and jerking off to it.

>he doesn't have 9TB of loli animu pics neatly organized on his local machine
>on his local machine
or you could just use gelbooru so you can access it from any computer in your house

>By setting yourself up for failure when someone finds your archive of furry porn.

I'm not a kid, I have my own place. No normie would be upset about finding my furry stuff, confused maybe, sure. Their reaction to finding your average user's Loli folder would be to phone the police though, don't deny it.

Now excuse me, i've got furry porn to collect.

There's literally no reason to download porn.

Folders are trees, you can't have a file in more than one unless you duplicate or use links
Tags are better. You just need good tagging software. Or write your own.
I use basic scripts. With a cli image vewer like sxiv you can just pipe in filenames. Toghether with ls and grep you havebmassive power at your fingers.

I had around 430 GB of doujins, some which you can't even find on the internet anymore because fakkupocalypse and scansites disappearing.
It was all inside an encrypted volume and somehow I lost it or probably deleted while drunk.
I didn't really had many loli specific ones it was more like a bit of everything, from milf to lovey dovey to mind break and incest that sort of shit.

Feels bad.

>hosting it on someone else's server
>not your own

> -[Real]
Come on, user. Why clutter your 2d porn collection with empty folders? Does it make you feel more normal?

>>>hosting it on someone else's server
I don't mean gelbooru dot com
gelbooru's open source, you can host your own booru like I'm doing

Post all of your [Non] and [CGI] content

>fakkupocalypse
there is an exhen site thing that has everything that died there.

>because it could never happen that the porn you like could become unavailable
what is the porn you fancy? Vanilla real life shit?

But the worst part is that desudesu and some other even older scanlators left the scene 5+ years ago.
I screwed up and I just came to accept my fuck up.
I also had 3DPD pictures of 2 anons who kinda became famous later on and even did porn.
Weird is that one of them was like 15 when she shitposted on Sup Forums so I guess that one was actual cp but I was also around that age back in the early 4chins days.

Hydrus is great senpai, you won't need to search a billion files to find that perfect meme anymore.

9TB is a bit far fetched for just pics..
Assuming that all your pics are PNGs of high quality with an average size of 5MB, 9TB would mean that you have 9*1024*1024/5 = somewhere around 1.8 BILLION pictures.
Is the human brain even capable of organizing such a number of elements without error? I doubt it.

I don't even think there are enough lolis to reach that number considering how niche and problematic of a pornography/art form that is.

Not same guy, but that sounds like a fucking pain given how many images I download, how do you find the time to put it all into your booru and tag it all?

I'd be curious to find out if younger generations care for chinese cartoons, or if this 'art' form is a dying craze.

uwu i'm getting there desu

But you organise stuff while downloading

getting it onto the booru is easy enough. There was a batch upload script that I modified to be fully recursive which allows me to set up the most important tags by just setting up the directory tree properly.
Reaction images are by far the worst to tag properly. For almost everything, it's enough to just know what board the images applies to and list any characters or copyrights found therein, but with reactions there's a lot of images that can convey multiple emotions and I also have tiers like mildly_mad and super_mad.
Lots of the time I'll put on some album Sup Forums told me about and just go on tagging for about an hour or so. It's rather therapeutic

>hydrus
>not a tag based filesystem

I don't have autism

Your life must be boring

I'm not the one with 9TB of raw autism

Damn, I envy you dude.
magnet link when?

I need to organize my digital camera photos, normally I just date the folder when pic were shot and leave the actual photo name alone. Sad thing is that pics date back to 2006 so yeah it'll take awhile. oh well, least I ran my end of year server backup job so I'll start out 2018 knowing my data is safe if my server dies within the next months
