i am going to distro hop from solus to another distro. what do you recommend?

solus project doesn't start up when i start my computer. After the splash screen it just stays black with that white blinking underscore. I need to hold the power button down to shut the computer down. if i start it up again, then it will start. i don't know if it's because my computer doesn't shut all the way down or what.

Antergos

yeah, i might try that or manjaro

Just use Arch, it isn't that hard to install anyway. Then you can impress your waifu over there because she thinks you're some kind of hacker.

Just use Antergos unless you literally don't care about configuration.

my laptop doesn't work with arch. the firmware doesn't recognize it

too late. i installed manjaro

who is she?

yuju from gfriend

THIS
fucking best arch installer out there

why is antergos preferable to manjaro?

Antergos makes fewer decisions for you. You might consider that an advantage for Manjaro, but then why are you using Arch?

fedora with RPM fusion

It has better reputation

What do you recommend instead? Fedora Rawhide?

how about not posting yuju where you shouldn't?

Devuan or antiX

antiX is probably the best bet to get all of your laptop working.

Mint GNU/Linux

Ubuntu
