What's considered the "cartoon mascot" on your country?
In France it's obviously Asterix.

And yes Magali was best
I call it cute for a cartoon, why do Americans always have to project their sexual deviancies on others ? Not everyone's a degenearate
I dunno the US's. Superman?
Garfield?
Trdonja, Lakotnik and Zvitorepec
these niggas know
The one and only
...
Captain America? Snoopy?
I'd say Snoopy desu.
I'm not sure we're more about stop-motion in this country. Postman Pat? Wallace and Gromit?
too many to choose but when it comes to mascots it's either Calvin n' Hobbes or the Democrat Donkey & Republican Elephant cartoons
Garfield and Snoopy are ok too, really too many to choose
I always had a crush on her.
I WANT TO HAVE BABIES WITH HER

And Peter Rabbit.

MINGAU MADE ME FURRY

>did UK ever made a noteworthy comic?
right now i only remember Judge Dredd
there's a few by Alan Moore too
Also this too.
Damn, you Brits really tons of brilliant cartoons. I loved Fireman Sam and Bob the Builder as a child desu
>stealing our dennis the menace
>*Borrowing and improving our dennis the menace
fixed that for ya.
>Dennis the Menace may refer to separate UK and U.S. comic strip characters that both appeared in March 1951 in their respective readership areas, and are still published as of 2015.
How did this happen?
yours was really tame.
>now that I think of it did UK ever made a noteworthy comic?
Judge Dredd and the 2000AD series is probably the biggest. Of course Britain has done numerous children's literature that the Americans can't stop raping with their films - Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh, Roald Dahl, Beatrix Potter,, Alice in Wonderland, The Hobbit, Treasure Island, etc.
same idea remodelled to suit both cultures? same people behind both conceptions probably
this x3
Deix people
>children's literature
those don't count as comics tho
for OP's purpose of being mascots yes but not as comics
no, it's total serendipity, they claimed
>those don't count as comics tho
True, but many of those books have such qt illustrations.
Suppose the lads up north have this.
One of these
>live action
>cartoons
Lol
>not Rumcajs
>not Emmanuel the Butterfly
>not Křemílek & Vochomůrka
I'm sorry but Thomas the Train isn't real.
Disney characters, obviously.
It's British-Swiss according to wiki
>live action
I don't think you know what that word means. See 2.
but nigga appeared on Ant-Man
It's still not a cartoon. Not the real show at least.
I wouldn't bet on the first two and I forgot the last one. In any case it's probably Maťko a Kubko.
Looks like Thomas is real in Japan.
it's not a cartoon. but it's also not live action, that was a pretty stupid thing to say. it's stop motion.
Yes it is. Live action would be real people. How is it not a cartoon. Do you think it has to be hand drawn to be a cartoon?
But it wasn't stop motion, the trains were wind up and were actually moving
thank you based slovakia
Yeah we're all about stop-motion really. Just posting one of the best scenes from Wallace and Gromit with the train....
Him?
best movie ever, Nick Park should've just stopped there
The shorts are better than the movies. The movies are still god-tier though.
I like Alfons Jokinen or even Babar more
good job Poland, looks comfy and mysterious like they are supposed to
gigi d'agostino clip
That's nothing, the Japs love Beatrix Potter so much they built a replica of her house on the outskirts of Tokyo. They really love Peter Rabbit.
Since Germany is late to the party, I got it covered
youtube.com
You groove you loose, fagets
But that's wrong, negro
Just look at the steam, does it look like stop motion to you?
Wrong video
youtube.com
>you will never enjoy watching cartoons without a single worry like you once did as a kid
Corto Maltese is more popular I think
I'd say Tom and Jerry or Looney tunes.
