Why do so many people consider Portugal nordic? It isn't

Why do so many people consider Portugal nordic? It isn't.

...

Just look at a map, it's obviously nordic.

I was expecting an american flag for such a stupid post.

No it isn't it's in the south wtf I don't get it

They don't.

Yes they do, it's always Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Estonia and Portugal

...

>Estonia
Nigga u fucked up

>Portugal gets Nordic before Estonia haha

t. Alberto Barbosa

We are a proud african nation
So please delet this

It's because they own the ancient ruins of Atlantis where ancient Nordics used to live

Estonia is rightfully nordic tho but Portugal doesn't fit in that list because it's too southern so I demand an explanation.

Because despite their small numbers the portuguese have done amazing things

Unlike the french, italians and spaniards they don't need to breed into the tens of millions to be relevant

Literally the only famous Portugese person I can think of is Cristiano Ronaldo.

And yes, I'm aware of the irony of talking about relevance as a kiwi.

then you're american tier ignorant

these memes are getting worse every day

> he doesn't know pepe

Wasn't Picasso Portuguese?

As portuguese as George Washington.

>Why do so many people consider Portugal nordic?

Magellan was portuguese.

No.

Well, to be fair they are depressed and autistic.

That's more of an Eastern European thing though, and Portuguese sounds pretty Eastern too.

Look at these Aryans.

Well Lithuania and Romania are nordic too.

There's a lot of copper in Scandinavia, and Romanians love copper, so I'd believe you no matter what

I cannot stop laughing at Bruno Alves. He always looks like an American Indian to me.

>descendente de brasileiros

Well, why does it amuse you?

Because if you look at his family it's actually mixed with white and black. So it's like, he's just perfect combination of both to create someone that looks just like an Amerindian.

Nothing was found in Azores. Absolutely nothing. Other than some pyramid shaped rocks under the sea a couple of years a go. But that's just a coincidence.

This. I feel no shame of my arab heritage. Amazing things they left us here.

...

Salaam Aleikum my friend

>This. I feel no shame of my arab heritage.
So does Sweden and they are Nordic.

...

Portugal confirmed nordic

Yeah. People keep attributing everything Portugal does to Spain.

We call him Paulo Picaço, though. He was born in Coimbra, like all our artists and intellectuals at the time.

>Paulo Picaço

I like moortugal. Madeira it's like if you were visiting the Jurassic Park, such amasing place desu.

I find the Azores more beautiful, but Madeira is nice.

Or was, before it became a pile of ash this Summer.

What the fuck
I thought Portugal is in South America

Only every four years.

Zitto animale

When I was a little Kid, I used to think Portugal and Mexico were in South America.

It's the name. For some reason nobody translated our name to English, and even we changed it very little from the Greek name, Portucale.

Dunno why.

Mexico is in south america.

Wut? At most it'd be in central America, but it's still North America.

Mexico is culturally close to South America than to USA or Canada.

>paulo picaço

>Paulo Picaço

How would you translate it into English? Port of the Callaeci?

>continental cucks talking shit about Madeira

>How would you translate it into English? Port of the Callaeci?
I honestly don't know. "Spain" from "España" doesn't make much sense either. Portugal is phonetically easy in English so that's why it stayed, I assume.

>Port of Gaul -> Gauls' Port -> Gaulsport

Maybe. Although "Gal Sport" starts to become kek-inducing. I don't have a good answer for it. But "Portugal", the word, doesn't sound very European to me either.

>continental cucks talking shit about Madeira
Not at all. I like Madeira and it's people. I just like the Azores cooler and greener climate a bit better. Both are nice.

t.

says the mexican. donde esta zapataria?

Because everywhere people "discovered" some piece of land, they either find a Viking ship, or a Portuguese one.

We went around exploring shit against the Tordesilhas treaty. Canada and Australia were both visited by us and we didn't say anything because we hoped nobody else would get there before we could get enough population going to populate it, but we had no such luck.

translation is not needed, as it could be pronounced clearly by englishmen. Unlike italia, germania or frroncia for instance, our name isn't romance, even though if it was given by rome.
Our roman name would be either lusitania, caelicia/galicia or finisterre

>finisterre
>Finnish Land
we ARE nordics.
