Is it possible to make spotify work on mobile browser the same way it works on desktop browser?
How can they tell it's a mobile if you request the desktop page?
I searched around and found nothing about it, like noone even trying to workaround/forcing desktop on mobile.
Any ideas Sup Forums?

This might be a controversial idea, but have you fucking tried asking spotify?

ask him

Some browsers can be set up so that they force desktop view of every site over mobile version. I think Lightning had that option

Use a browser that has a addon to spoof user agent

Use Spotify dogfood app.

with spotify app u can't skip song unless on premium. On desktop browser u can
tried with chrome and the request desktop site but it doesn't work

Dogfood is an opensource app that has no ads and is close but completely like premium.

Request desktop doesn't spoof user agent you dingus

remember: don't do javascript, kids. or you'll turn out JUST like him: a broken man

Tried again with the phone default browser that has a specific settings called "user agent string", set it to desktop and got the same result

brb gonna look into that

>spotify
lol what a fucking pleb

Little late to be shit posting bud.

What do you use?
inb4 own server with own written app

haha yeah let's all just let some proprietary garbage store and control all of our music instead of us being in control of it ourselves. and let's all pay them for the privilege!

>close source
yeah kinda feeling the botnet already

I use files stored locally and a gnu/Linux media player of course

lol spotify is fucking dogshit

what do you use? I agree that it is bad, but are there any alternatives as comfy as it is?

>being this mad

spotify is not comfy at all are you mental?

nice bait

>being this much of a propietary normalfag who can't even manage his own music

It's not bait it's the truth.

love you it's awesome.
Also if it's closed source, why there is a contribute option on the github page? can't fork the repo at the moment but is there the source code in the fork or not?

It's more convenient than ever to manage a large selection of music, discover new music, and share playlists. $10/month is nothing.
Why would I go back to slower, more clunky/costly/time-consuming ways of doing it, like buying digital, or, worse, physical albums?

because it's on someone else's server, it's botnetted to fuck, it limits the amount of files you can listen to offline per device, and it's fucking gay proprietary malware and spyware for normies who're too stupid and lazy to manage their own music

again, state an alternative then.

meant How can it be opensource and close at the same time?

Meanwhile, I can start listening to any arbitrary album someone recommends in under 10 seconds.
I also live in Europe and get 4G coverage pretty much everywhere with no extra roaming charges.
Managing your own music is for 1) actual audiophiles, and 2) poorfags who don't value their own time. I'm guessing you're not in the former group.

go and fuck yourself I'm not spoonfeeding stupid normies

>it's on someone else's server
Really can't care less. The alternative would be torrents and iTunes and those are garbage.
>it's botnetted to fuck
Who cares, it's music, you're worried someone at NSA is laughing at your shit taste?
>it limits the amount of files you can listen to offline per device
Maybe, I have unlimited 11eur/month plan, I don't download.
>normies who're too stupid and lazy to manage their own music
We're not lazy, we have better things to do. If you're an actual audiofag, nothing will replace flac or vinyl or whatever.

Who gives a shit if you can listen to a recommendation in 10 seconds if that means you succumb to the botnet you stupid goyim faggot. Managing your own audio collection is sensible and the only way it should be done. Do you think we used proprietary malware like spotify to manage our music files 15 or 20 years ago, newfag? No. You're just lazy and stupid.

>t. monumental pleb

Music is like porn: if you pay for it you are an idiot.

>t. enormous snob

Spotify is for faggots.

I pay for albums from artists that I genuinely enjoy and want to support.

>chrome
Found the retard

It's Android, you can decompile the binary.

Dogfood only changes the tablet app's DPI to your phone's and has a built in host file that blocks ads. It's a 30 second job and the XDA maintainers have automated the process so it patches the latest version with its own updater.

>>jewgle "spotify cracked"
fucking brainlet

I'm sensing a tiny bit of butthurt here...

What's it like being so poor you can't afford a $10/mo service?

>Who gives a shit if you can listen to a recommendation in 10 seconds
This is why I pay for Spotify and maintain a library at the same time. I don't want to download something just to find out it's shit. It's 2018. We have better options than acting like nothing has changed since 2005 like you do.

>How can they tell it's a mobile if you request the desktop page?

There are a handful of techniques to identify mobile browsers, you need to do all sorts of shit to get a real desktop version sometimes.

Your IP will often give you away so you might need to proxy/vpn, screen size is another which is why you usually have to scroll mobile browsers when you select desktop.

Firefox is pretty good at spoofing that shit, Opera had their built-in vpn for that reason (amongst others). Lots of mobile browsers fuck it up though and only do one or two bits of it.

Even if all of that is done, you still need to browse incognito or clear cookies and cache or the page will tell you you used to be a mobile browser in the past.

get a cracked spotify

I'm not sure what exactly you want put I think this is what you are looking for boards.libre.io/threads/spotify-music-ver-6-0-0-864-mod.198693/

You can't bypass the DRM, you stupid fucking spotify-using nigger.

Spotify uses DRM, so you need a browser with Widevine Content Decryption Module support in order to run it. And I don't think there is one on mobile...

Is it possible to ban all spotify streaming fags?

commit suicide you emoji posting faggot

No u

it could be user agent or even screen resolution or aspect ratio
