Originally created for the sole purpose of collecting flags, /flag/ is now a general for the discussion of vexillology and other things.

Click on the flag (it should open in a new tab) and save it. There is a link to a world template below.
To save extra flags, just right-click on the flag as it is displayed.

You have to install the extension and set up your flags before people can see them.

No, it is open-source and you can view the code on GitHub.

It stores users' selected flags with their post numbers in a database, and retrieves them when a page is loaded. IPs are not accessed.

Posting in the thread is usually enough for a manager to see it. You don't have to make the flag yourself.

People have discussed these multiple times in the past but no one cares enough to make it.

It's easy to shill when the thread is relevant. Last night there was a thread about flags on Sup Forums. All I did was redirect them to this thread with and tell them we like flags and we have an extension that adds regional flags. After that, I saw a couple of posters come here with the extension. It helps if you post with a cool regional flag attached to your post, too.

Russia might be postponed in favour of Spain. Brazil has always been on high priority but remaking other flags always comes first.

Sup Forums should add South Ossetia as a country so I could post with proper national flag.

Sup Forums cannot add it if it does not have ISPs. It's not up to Sup Forums but international governments.
