bump, need advice before i pull the trigger

Wendel says, yes. I like mine, too.

I'm just afraid of getting jewed by pixio with blacklight bleed or dead pixels

Who the fuck is Pixio?

Mine arrived in flawless condition. I understand the concern, though.

As someone who brought a Korean monitor that had the same worries, trust me that the monitor is still a great deal even with a few dead pixels or backlight bleed. IPS + QHD + 144Hz man, you will be pleased unless you want to spend hundreds extra for some perfect monitor but I'm telling you that this monitor is worth it.

Also Wendel liked it

Maybe. As far as I can find, there are no direct comparisons between it and the EDG-27. Haven't even been able to find any reviewers that have reviewed both. One of them definitely is. Pixio is at least the best looking 27" IPS 1440p 144Hz monitor for $400 or less. Nixeus says that the big bezels help cut down on backlight bleed though.

>In stock Feb 24

What's the point, you have to wait 2 months anyway.

On newegg its in stock.

Just buy it directly from Pixio. The link is above.

Whoops.

>2017+1 still getting jewed by the 144hz meme
just buy a 27" IPS 4K you moron

>$400 or LESS
>4K not a meme

No

Wait for 32"

>Pixio PX277
looks good on paper.

it probably has a horrendous GUI and 8bit colorrange

This is what I'm upgrading from, so I think it's still a lot better.

>pixio
$400 is a lot for a lottery ticket.

There's the Crossover 27FAST144
FreeSync
27" VA, 1440p, 144hz

learned about it from linus shill tips and it apparently goes for $300-350

...

if you get an atleast 95% flawless unit, it's perfectly fine i guess.

i just watched wendells video and have to admit that it is quiet impressive if it holds true

the pixio looks better on specsheet

in terms of what? I imagine they are using the same exact panels literally from the same exact factories

atleast the freesync range is greater from what i've seen.. the one that linus covered didn't go that well into detail as wendel did on latency testing and such

Every VA or IPS panel is going to have some backlight bleed

not necessarily.. there is a variance on overall backlight homogenity.. if you buy a Eizo Foris FS2735,
you will get the best panel AUOptronics had to offer 2-3 years ago while at the same time you could have gotten a Asus MG279Q
which is the same panel but with very bad QC

i had both and can say that i was very impressed by the black levels the Eizo was able to achieve while having almost non backlight bleed at all compared to the MG279Q.. but this comes with almost double the price tag

Eizo is an exception though i guess
